While the whole niche world is fixated on Tom Ford’s Fucking Fabulous, S.A.C.K.Y has created something that’s actually deserving of that name. I give this high marks all the way around. This is the closest you will find to permanent perfume. A gloopy creamy mix of labdanum, honey and coconut is most dominate in Waquar. Now that I think about it, I haven’t tried anything this gunky since Memoirs of a Trespasser but don’t dismiss this a another syrup show. This fragrance opens with a scrubbed amber accord nestled underneath a granny smith a la Ambre Narguile or Arabian Nights. The apple note isn’t the only fruity ingredient worth mentioning. The oriental symmetry is spiked with citrus but the acidic touch is short lived. With a little concentration, you can detect some verdant behavior in the mix. The herbaceous notes aren’t dominate enough to label it anything other than “verdant behavior.” Somewhere mixed in the vanilla/ambergris/coconut combo is an unmentioned musk accord which i found similar to that of Ex Nihilo’s Musc Infini. The fleshly attributes of Waquar are proven calmative for every minute that passes. At this point, the amber becomes weighty and its significance can’t be denied. Don’t let this one end up in the lost and found!! It’s bad enough this has no reviews.
