Just picked up a bottle of body spray and I’m in love! I had bought a bottle of lotion in a boutique one of the times I was in Hawaii when I was in the Navy and it smelled just like this! Imagine how blown away I was when something named Waikiki smelled just like Waikiki to me. I layered a little Jovan Island Gardenia over it yesterday and wore a bright dress and felt like I was on vacation as I went about my Sunday shopping and running errands with my Husband.

I forgot this was In my purse. I tried it today and loved the smell. I don’t know why I ever forgot about it. It smells like a creamy coconut smoothie you have at the beach. So yummy and sweet.

Soooo gooood *.* summer, fresh, sweet, creamy pina colada ?! I wanted to find something with coconut (not typical sweet coconut) and ordered body mist after reading reviews and comparing notes with several more. Because I have never smelt frangipani and passion flower, I can only describe this as a creamy mixture of coconut and ananas with woodsy notes, slightly unisex.

LOVE ITTTTTTTTTT

I just had a mani-pedi tonight and the lady massaged my arms with this. I complimented it and said, oh that smells good! The rest of the night I kept getting whiffs of it and I had to order it. I’m receiving my Tom Ford Velvet Orchid tomorrow by mail and I can’t wait to layer them!

Another beautiful tropical fragrance in my collection. Unlike the single scents of mango or strawberry from The Body Shop the frags of the Bath & Body Works line have more notes and smell really good. This is an aquatic tropical coconut scent. There are 2 notes of coconut and you really get that coconut smell: milky, white, creamy, sweet, watery. The aquatic sea notes really match up with the coconut water. There are 2 white flowers: jasmine and frangipani which is actually a plumeria or tiare a white flower from the Hawaiian islands and Tahiti. I’ve always loved these flowers and enjoy them in my perfumes. The dry down is woodsy. There’s bamboo and soft woods. Easy to wear woods. This is really a terrific perfume and highly recommended. I used to wear it more often than I do now but would never part with the 3 remaining frags I have in my collection. If you like tropical scents, coconut, aquatic scents, and frangipani/tiare/plumeria you’ll really dig this scent. Perfect to wear in the summer time, for the beach, for parties, for yacht parties, a vacation. It’s just such a sweet tropical beach fragrance.

I have this both in the perfume and body mist and LOVE IT!!!
Its smells so good and so coconutty, this is a perfect hot summer day scent to wear! The sillage and longevity are both moderate for me.

Cannot express how much I disagree with the review below me. (Although I respect the opinions of all.)
This to me, smells quite nicely blended and expensive. I got a 1 ounce bottle of the perfume on Ebay for only $15 and I love the packaging as well as the scent.
I received this in the mail a few days ago and last night, to the gym…I wore it for the first time. Fragrance lasts a good 4-5 hours on the skin, and a good 12-24 hours on clothes. And the sillage I get…is HUGE! This projects a good 5-6 feet, the biggest I’ve ever experienced with a Bath & Body Works fragrance. (The second best being Twilight Woods.)
The coconut here smells absolutely divine. Juicy and dry coconut at the same time, if that’s even possible. The coconut is most definitely in the spotlight here, but what I love about this…is that the fruity notes aren’t trying to compete. Just like a happy back-up singer would be for a superstar…the fruity notes are in the backround…but contently so, doing their part.
Scent Itself – 9/10
Sillage – 8/10
Longevity – 9/10
Overall Rating – 9/10
Oh, and did I mention…that because of how impressed I am with this…I ordered Oahu Coconut Sunset last night. 🙂 Still waiting on it and will write a review after trying it.
But as for this…HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Perfect summer scent!!

Wikiki smells like a more realistic coconut than Oahu does. For some reason I didn’t give this one the full chance that I gave some of the others in the summer collection. I got them all at once so it was like tropical sensory overload. I like Wikiki more than Oahu because it now smells synthetic to me. Although Tahiti has the most delicious Creamy Coconut out of all three coconut scents from last year. I would buy Tahiti in the EDP and just have Wikiki as a body mist.

This fragrance is quintessential summer at the beach! It lasts a fair amount of time. I adore it, and bought everything in it and a lot of it! I am sad that they are not probably going to extend this past the summer season. I probably would not wear in fall or winter though, but do hope they have it next spring, as when my supply runs out I want to replenish.

This is nice to wear on a casual summer weekday out. Suits daytime better, as the scent screams sunny beach, sparkling sea and drinking coconut water.

I was debating on if I wanted to buy this or not and I decided that since it was on sale for only $4 it was worth it. Kinda smells like superglue on me though :/

This is a lovely little find at 10 dollars on sale, I’m loving this fragrance, but only to spray on clothes. In fact, it wears SO differently on clothes than one skin, I don’t bother to get any on my skin. It wears down into just a faint coconut scent on skin, while when applied to clothes, it allows the fragrance to blossom, the notes dance in such sweet harmony,it’s beautiful to behold. I am slightly off put that it doesn’t hold well on skin, like Oahu does but I guess it’s a trade off. Might try layering them together to see if I get some kind of franken-scent of coconut magic, who knows.

Hmm… This stuff. THIS stuff.
I really, really like it. I first smelled it on a friend of mine who had bought the body spray, and I immediately said, “Wow, you smell great!” This summer, I have been craving coconut, and my first attempt (Escada Born in Paradise) was very disappointing. No coconut, only plastic! I was really pleasantly surprised to find that the coconut in Waikiki Beach was not only non-plasticky, but also quite present, fresh, nutty, smooth… Even a little powdery? Musky? Yes, I think musky, as raw umber said. I’m not really an expert on “natural coconut” smells, but after also testing the Kuumba Made Black Coconut oil, which a lot of people describe as “natural,” I’d say this is pretty close, supported by lime, vanilla, a dash of salty sea water… I do smell the woods as well, which give it some nice depth. Layering this with Kuumba Made would probably be pretty freakin’ amazing.
Very nicely done, BBW! I could see this becoming another cult classic. I do think it’s a 3+ spray kind of fragrance, but afterward, it definitely has acceptable sillage and longevity. Once it settles, it is positively delectable. One of those fragrances that makes me walk around all day saying “D*mn I smell good!” (Yes, sometimes I do that. In fact, I’ve already said it a few times today, and it’s only lunch time.)
P.S. The body spray actually has VERY impressive longevity if you’re looking for a good one.

I was pretty obssessed with those “dark” scents recently and pushed myself very hard to learn to apppreciate perfumes including Angel, Shalimar… but HEY IT IS SUMMER so with that said, nothing beats simple fruit and floral like Waikiki. Rich, sweet, delightful, summery, and just fabulous. I ended up buying the entire line.

smells more like Escada Magnetism for women..

Just purchased two more bottles. This will be my summer go to. See my review below. Men, don’t miss this one! For the price it’s a no-brainer!

Tropical bodywash concentrate!
Waikiki Beach Coconut is a potent sweet clean musky coconut scent with a vaguely fruity pineappley-limey undercurrent. It’s almost like some crazy hybrid of pineapple and lime, rather than a blend. Though coconut is definitely the star of this linear composition, it’s not forced to stand alone.
It’s a pretty tropical bodywash type of scent with nothing smelling too sharp, plastic, or floor cleaner. Like a typical hand soap, it doesn’t smell particularly natural to me but neither does Virgin Island Water.
WBC is an extremely likeable summer scent with medium projection and good longevity. I think it would also layer nicely with vanillas or tropical florals, or even on top of sunscreen.

Gentleman, don’t let the gender assignment frighten you. THIS IS DAMN CLOSE TO Creed VIW. If you like/love VIW, you will like/love this equally. Today it was 72 degrees and I wore this for the first time. I was hammered with compliments. It would be a shame if the gender assignment put male fragrance lovers off. You’ll be missing a great summer replacement for Creed VIW . . .at a laughable price.
ENJOY!

This does smell fantastic from the beginning! I have noticed, however, that now that I have had it on for several hours, I smell like ice cream……not bad, just not what I was expecting…..

Looking for a summer frag, saw the sale on B&B Works, ordered this just because of the list of ingredients–and Wow!! This is so close to Creed Virgin Island Water, it’s unbelievable. I got the Shower Gel and the Perfume, and will definately be ordering more! Highly recommend if coconut, frangipani, sea water and jasmine are your idea of a great summer fragrance.
muzillaq – :
This is super addicting! I have not really liked any of bath and body works offerings as of late, but holy moly this is fantastic! Delicious, juicy, aquatic, refreshing, long lasting etc. I have gotten more compliments on this than any other scent that I have ever worn. They are doing a buy 3, get 3…I’m going to get all Waikiki beach coconut!

OMG….This smells amazing. …….and last all day. Impressed. Great for daywear. Not.over.the top whatsoever….but smells so good.
