The best signature niche and it is mine! The powder floral added to the honeyed tobacco iris styrax gives it a smoother almoast soapy vibe you get from Burberry touch .. so! No this is not like Burberry touch especially after the reformulation……. but imagine the Pre reformulation on a niche level just as the floral powder input… only! This is cleaner only resembling soap and whatnot unlike other Powder fragrances.amd this aspect is minimal… words will never do justice especially mentioning what I have…. IT IS MY SIGNATURE NOW… in love.

I disliked this in the store but ordered a sample to try it again––thank god! Imagine Chergui spliced with L’Heure Bleue minus the anise note. I get the sweet, powdery l’Heure Bleue drydown without waiting for it, and the honeyed tobacco of Chergui. Volutes is less original and distinctive than either of those two fragrances, but I love it.

Only 5 reviews for such a great scent?I can’t believe that people haven’t discovered it yet…wonderful fall/winter scent…warm,cozy,boozy…very beautiful.For me,in the same direction as a Burberry London.Imagine a wooden challet in Swiss alps,surounded by a huge amount of snow,a fireplace,beautiful woman,a glass of wine,(or whiskey),and there you go:)
Edit
Ok,I can see that for edt is much more reviews, probably that’s why so little about edp here.

Wow, my beloved Volutes EDP has a rating of 4.76! Well deserved too! It’s just magical.

Really nice perfume. Reminds me of Chergui
and herrod, with the honeyed tobacco smell although this one has more tobacco note. Very good replacement for Chergui in my opinion. Very good projection.

Similarities between this and Chergui are undeniable: I am certain that’s a result of the tobacco contained therein and the prominent role it plays in both scents. Volutes also lacks the powdery note that has become one of Chergui’s hallmarks. That being said, I find Volutes less ‘in your face’, there is a restrained flamboyance to it and I feel that I am wearing it, rather than the other way around. It’s a genuinely delightful scent and provides a compelling alternative to the marine aquatics and citrus-based scents that litter the seemingly endless shelves of big box fragrance retailers. Longevity is good and the sillage is a little below what I would expect for an EDP.
Overall, this is a delightful, imaginative, and well-received scent I would advise wearing in the early spring/fall/winter time frames, as i can easily see it becoming cloying and borderline offensive when exposed to too much heat. One final note: all of the women i polled seemed to find this scent attractive, so there’s that.

Wow, congrats Fragrantica!
They have a separate page for the Volutes EDP, just noticed it as I am enjoying Volutes EDT on this cool Spring day.
I put it in my top 5 fragrances. I think the edt is better than the edp, because I pick up the tobacco more. The edt is best in Spring then Fall. The EDP is great also, but it’s heavier overall, you get more of the imortelle and hay, and it’s a bit sweeter also, it may be best for Winter.
Rating: 8.75/10
