I definitely smell the orange and cucumber when it dries down. I can really smell it on my wrists throughout the day. I don’t think the sillage is that strong though.

I love JC fragrances overall and got this one, admittedly this bottle really caught my eye as well which sealed the deal for me. It smells like a sweet icy pear and strawberry sorbet, which is pretty delicious. There is a downside though, the staying power is not good at all in fact its surprisingly poor. After about 15 minutes it fades into a whisper of a perfume. Its such a shame as the fragrance is lovely and so is the bottle.

Tried it on my skin today. It was very weeak and generic. Not my kind after all. It smelled good from the bottle in wintertime, but now its meh…well I Guess Juicy Couture is not matching my taste as a brand.

Quite pleasant daytime scent. It does not last at all on the skin, but it will last a bit longer if applied on clothes.

This really didn’t get good reviews on here. I absolutely love the perfume !!!! It last about 3 hrs on me and I wished it lasted longer but I love the fragrance

It has a strange drydown that doesn’t fit the Viva La Juicy line. Something almost mineral, but cold. The top notes are nice and frosty and lovely. I would have expected the base notes of this to warm up and become more of a vanilla floral, but that isn’t the case.

This bottle is the stuff dreams are made of.. However the scent doesn’t quite live up to the standard this bottle set. It’s a cute scent, sure. Quite similar to the other VLJ reiterations. Imagine icy pear sorbetto splashed with orange juice, drizzled with vanilla glaze and garnished with orange blossoms. Scrumptious and fun. But (and this is a big *BUT*) I can hardly smell it after about 20 minutes, unless I stick my nose directly to it. Maybe every once in a while I get a vague whiff of something pale and vanilla but that’s about all that’s left at that point. So I would compare it more to a body splash than a perfume in that sense. It performs pretty horribly unfortunately. 🙁 The bottle is so adorable, I would almost consider buying it for that alone but only if I could find it extremely discounted. But I probably won’t even do that unless by some miracle I happened to use up a bunch of my bottles because I already have too many as it is and can’t really afford the space to add any more “cute” bottles with “okay” perfume inside.

This starts out as a fresh pear sorbet scent, and slowly transforms into a realistic vanilla. It has a discrete projection and lasts over 6 hours on me. The character is very soft and juicy. Not as sharp as all the ice could lead one to assume. I’d say it is a pretty safe and non-offensive, but there is something unique about the top notes.
I have noticed that a lot of the other comments have complained that it disappears within the hour. Personally I didn’t experience this problems. However, it is weak compared to other rather strong Juicy Couture-perfumes. I imagine this could attract a slightly different audience than the other flacons. It is fresher, less sweet and fainter.

Not the best from the Juicy lineup… definitely more unique than the others and the original. Not as sweet as Sucré or Gold Couture but definitely sweeter than the original. I do like the unique blend of notes… the berries and sorbet come through but as for what sorbet really smells like… who knows. I smell mostly berries, sweetness/vanilla and pear. And of course some of the classic jasmine/gardenia/amber from the original.
Unfortunately this is the weakest Juicy I have ever smelt. Up to 5 sprays only last maybe 45 minutes on me. It’s terrible and really unfortunate considering it is a decent scent. The bottle is adorable as most Juicy flankers are. I collect them and so I definitely picked this up. If you aren’t collecting, I would suggest maybe getting Sucré or Gold Couture if you like sweet. I personally am not a fan of the original VLJ but without it we wouldn’t have all these other great interpretations. If you like fruity go with Juicy Soireé. And of course, for more floral Juicy Rosé is lovely.
For an Eau de Parfum this seriously underperforms. It’s like a body spray at best. Would not repurchase.

It’s amazing how we are all different, someone smells one thing, someone something else. It’s interesting.
I just bought 100ml and sprayed it once on my hand. In the car, while my husband is driving. Couldn’t wait to do thst at home. Btw,blind buy, cuz i love VLJ and have Noir and Gold Couture. Want to get all of them.
Didn’t get any icy smell, but warm, powdery one. Reminds me of The Body Shop shower cream, milk, almond and honey.

How can it be in sooo cute bottle and smell that way. Totally disaster

Perhaps you are anosmic to it, but the aroma is quite soft.

I’m just wondering if someone cut my bottle with water. I can’t even smell it after 30 sprays!

Original viva was my signature as a young adult. I think this is their best flaker

  15. :

This reminds of Angelina Jolie but only because she was in that move “Gone in 60 Seconds”. Seriously…this has to be the worst performing perfume I have ever purchased. I sprayed 6 sprays all over my clothes and 45 minutes later I couldn’t smell a thing. I asked my husband if he could smell it and he said no. I bought this at Ulta so I know it wasn’t a fake.
For the few minutes that I could smell it was very nice, but Zara Oriental Gourmand is almost an exact dupe for this and lasts way longer and costs 1/4 of the price.
The bottle is so adorable but the perfume is definitely not worth the price. Way too weak.
Maybe some of you are able to get better longevity out of it. If so I am jealous because it really is a nice scent.

If you love the first Viva La Juicy,
    Viva La Juicy Sucre ,
Dior Addict you will love this. Smells of synergy
    of all 3!
    SS = Spray Strength
    1 SS = 1 hr
    3 SS=3 hrs
    6 SS=6hrs
Bottle very cute , pink feather very hello kitty feel

The name ‘Glacé’ is quite fitting for this edition of Viva La Juicy, as it really has something icy, sorbet-like, especially in the top and heart. I smell a blend of fresh mandarin and pear with a smooth, bright, almost almondy vanilla.
It seems to me like it works best on cold skin – outdoors (in winter) it smells nicer and more icy and unique than inside. Honestly, that seems pointless to me, as I usually don’t stand around in the cold for hours.
I still like this flanker better than the original, it’s not as sharp and floral, it’s more vanillic and soft, and more rounded. I think they are in the same family, but absolutely not twins.
I like this concept of a sweet but cold scent, but overall, it could be done better. VLJ Glacé starts out nice, but after a few hours it starts to bore me. It dries down to a very run-of-the-mill vanilla fruity floral.
The strenght of the fragrance is average in my opinion, it’s a soft scent but not exceptionally short-lived on my skin.

it’s just the same as the 1st VLJ… if i had my eyes closed while smelling this, i wouldve thought it was the 1st VLJ… lol

ahhhhhhh my love for juicy couture still is strong lol……i just got this bottle today & never disappoints 🙂 i can always count on juicy couture to smell girly , feminine, soft & delicious 🙂 i know that their scents are all very similiar but im fine with that lol……i love the way they smell……they are very easy to wear & their bottles are really beautiful !!! my only con with juicy couture is there is not a lot of longevity……so u gotta spray a lot lol…………..but no prob because im a huge fan 🙂 i have all the scents well except the peace love one – ohhh that one was a stinky one lol………..

At a certain point of its development on the skin this reminds me of grape juice! Apart from that, it smells nice, it is non-invasive, pleasant, light and after a while it smells on me like the original VLJ. Not very original but the packaging alone is worth getting it!

I don’t get all the negative reviews of Glace, personally I love it! I just recently rediscovered Juicy fragrances, I’ve had the original Viva La Juicy for years, and in my opinion, I think Glace is better! It’s such a beautiful, feminine blend of sweet florals and vanilla with a bit of fruitiness. I found it had great lasting power on me, it was a good five or six hours before I had to touch it up. I’ve heard lots of people compare this one to Sucre, but I wasn’t too impressed with Sucre which I found had terrible lasting power and a bitter dry down note that I just didn’t like. Glace is marketed as a winter scent with the whole “on ice” thing, but I feel like it can be worn all year round. This is my new signature scent!

I must admit, I like the scent. It’s not the most original and outstanding stylish scent, but it is very good smelling anyway.
Just a right amount of sweetness and freshness. Fruity pear and nice sorbet note.
It’s good, no doubt about it.
I would wear it as an everyday scent.

  23. :

I love it, to me this smells a bit like Riri by Rihanna 🙂 It is sweet, but not overpowering. I can spray like 4 or 5 sprays and it still doesnt seem “too much”. The drydown is quite warm on me and the sweetness disappears a little 🙂 I wish it had musk instead of amber, but I dont like complaining, this is a safe buy in my opinion, lovely perfume 🙂
    UPDATE: Can’t stop spraying, lol!

Ladies wear this on top of the original juicy…at the same time….then it pops!:)

  25. :

Ice cream in a adorable bottle! Looking at the notes, I wasn’t expecting much when I went in to try this, but I genuinely had heart eyes when I caught the first whiff of it. Love at first sniff! The sorbet stands out the very most, but I’m also picking pear, and not just any pear, it’s like a frozen pear here. Love love love this scent, and it definitely helps that the bottle is cute as heck!

  26. :

    5 out of 5

I don’t see plum anywhere in the notes on this but it reminds me of a plum jam. It’s in a good way though. I like this. If you are looking for something like viva la juicy or juicy couture then you will be disappointed. This is different. It’s just like a deep ripe fruit smell.
It’s pretty. Not outstanding and you won’t stand out. But sometimes I just like to smell all fruity and yummy just for myself and I don’t care if people notice me.

  27. :

    3 out of 5

I didn’t even think it was possible to make a weaker version of viva la juicy OG (which I still love) but this smells like that version watered down to me. I was so disappointed. The packaging is cute, but it’s insulting that fragrance makers keep releasing flankers that are a shadow of their predecessors, marking up the prices, and we’re expected to just gush about them and buy them up. No wonder JC’s fragrances can always be found online for so much cheaper. For shame.

  28. :

    5 out of 5

I like the original so I took a chance on this as a blind buy and was disappointed. I agree with another review that there was not much creativity in this one except the bottle and it last all of 2 min and I didn’t even get the 3min they got. I didn’t expect it to smell like the original or anything but I expected something else and own different versions that are not bad but nothing just crazy wow. This one was just pure let down on longevity. I also might have received a bad batch too however and that might be why.

I just had to come bk and announce how i wear this : I spray the original VLJ , then sucree version and then this…and ..the smell it creates its intoxicating!!! Ladies try it! The blend makes it really yummy..and Thats what an intense version should be like…compliments galore!

It’s too weak. I honestly can’t smell it after 3 min.

As previous reviewers have mentioned… Bottle is very cute! Wanted to blind buy the perfume based off that alone.
    Glad I didn’t!
Stopped by the perfume counter at Dillard’s and was pretty disappointed. I sprayed on my wrist and immediately hated it. Doesn’t smell like original VLJ (not a huge fan anyway) at all. Was expecting something similar since it has been compared to it several times. Initial spray smelled floral with an annoying chemical cherry scent. Reminded me of Dazzle (also not a fan) by Paris Hilton. This perfume fades rather quickly. Two hours later and I could barely smell it. Dry down was pleasant, soft unrecognized fruity scent. This perfume isn’t for me, even if the bottle is pretty.
    Scratched off my want list.

  32. :

    The bottle!!! OMG
By far VLJ’s best bottle. Even my cleaning lady couldn’t stop talking about it’s cuteness.
However, this is a mixture of Regular VLJ + Sucree. The first 5 minutes, its regular VLJ and then it’s Sucree. Yawn. Boring/recycled smell with a gorgeous/sparkly bottle. I just bought the bottle so doesn’t matter to me what it smells like. Lasting power isn’t great either, but that’s the norm with VLJ.

  33. :

I actually like this flanker more than the original but its performance is really disappointing. The scent is absolutely gorgeous but for EDP it’s way too weak. After an hour I can barely smell it unless I keep my nose less than an inch away.

  34. :

    Amna723– I just got a 3.4/100ml NIB for $45 on ebay. 😉
I smelled it at Ulta and thought it was nice. I have all the flankers tho (Sucre for sure) so I didn’t put it high on my want list.
Then I saw it for $45. 😉 They are coming to ebay!

  35. :

    4 out of 5

It holds true to the originial VLJ DNA. That juicy vanilla sweetness we’re used to. There really is something about it that feels cool and icy though. It smells cleaner and there is a more distinctive clean soapy aquatic note compared to the original VLJ. There is definitely sugary sweetness in this perfume too that reminds me of VLJ Sucre too. It’s like the original with more vanilla and some soapy notes. It’s a combo of the original and VLJ Sucre with some soapy clean notes thrown in. Nice but not to-die-for. Very boring if you already have the original and a flanker or 2. I’ll wait til it’s $40 on ebay for a 3.4 oz tester in like 6 months lol.

  36. :

I didn’t know there was a new one coming out so when I saw this the other night I got super excited. I’m not a crazy lover of the original, it’s nice enough it’s just been done so many times now that I’m kind of over it…so this one though I was expecting a really iced version of a fruity sweet type scent, does that make sense to anyone other than me haha lol sadly….this missed the mark, not only missed it but essentially it didn’t come close to meeting it. It’s pleasant and all, but holy crap. Come on, that price for something that has been done so many times now, by so many different brands! I would rather just buy a knock off for a small fration of the price!!!

Smells like Viva and Fantasy by Britney Spears had a baby. Nothing new.

  38. :

It doesn’t smell like anything. Its too weak for me, and not worth it for that price.

  39. :

I am just so disappointed this smells like the original and the sucre versions.

  40. :

    5 out of 5

To me, there are some fresher green and citrus notes right at the beginning, then it dries down to Viva la Juicy with an emphasis on the white flowers.
Not as different as I hoped. I was hoping for stronger green and citrus notes. They’re there, but they don’t stick around very long. Which is disappointing.
The bottle is over the top girly bling. Can’t say I’m not enjoying looking at it. I love those blingy Juicy bottles, and not entirely ironically either.

  41. :

    5 out of 5

I just got this and love the first juicy and this is a cross up of the viva la juicy and juicy sucree…together. Very fun , sweet and of course its not too too different than other flankers out but its a twisted blend and its yummy n fun to add to the rest ! Smells great!

Am I the only one that smells caramel? This is close to the original, but personally I think this smells like a mix of La Fleur, and Sucre. Personally Glace is still ” too gourmand ” for my taste, La Fleur is the middle ground for me. Glace is great for VLJ collectors. I’m not being negative, I just think Glace is a money grab perfume, because for me it’s not different enough, at least with Sucre it’s not completely the same. For me Glace isn’t anything special, and personally I don’t recommend paying retail for this, I bought mine off HSN. Personally I would of rather had another Malibu perfume, as Couture LaLa Malibu is my main signature perfume in the Summer, and I have gone through more than half a 150ml bottle in the last two years, and with me having around 1,000 perfumes bought since 2012 that’s really something you have to consider. End note: I’m tired of repetitive perfumes especially around the $100 retail. Yes, I realize that this is another Flanker to VLJ, so it’s going to smell similar, but I think they need to become more creative, because I am starting to get bored. I personally think we should be done with VLJ flankers in general at this point. Yes, I’m happy they did the middle east perfumes, as it’s something different, but why does Juicy Couture need to release a VLJ perfume twice a year, when Sucre just came out at the end of 2016?

  43. :

    5 out of 5

This is like viva la juicy grown up. It is a white floral but with the essence of the original VLJ. It’s like VLJ and the original juicy couture had a baby. Clean white floral scent with a touch of sweetness. The only complaint I have is the sillage is lighter than the original VLJ. It stays close to the skin and is more like an EDT. I’m hoping that’s temporary as I have been having seasonal allergy issues, but it seems a lot lighter than the VLJ Sucre I wore 2 days ago and VLJ gold last week. I bought this off HSN, so I know it’s legit.

  44. :

    Not again…for God’s sake! Where’s creativity?
Viva la juicy EDP is a masterpiece, one of kind, no other edition except from EDT and maybe newer Gold Couture were good enough.
Playing by just changing a bit it’s notes and re-selling it under a different ‘name’ is completely immature. Anyway, it looks like that is a ‘new’ VLJ that follows trends (cassis, ‘frozen’ mandarin) and the bottle is too much. Agree?
