PAXBAIBLYWEEX – :
I’ve owned this fragrance for a few months and I felt I needed more experience in niche fragrances before being able to give my opinion on it.
This is my most expensive fragrance and I need to say that I’ve had this thought about it more than once: would I prefer to own this, over say 4 to 5 niche fragrances from other houses? Or even 2 from the CLIVE line? It’s quite the idea. There are definitely more than 4 or 5 scents that I’d like in my collection… and yet I still don’t regret buying this. I know I’d be asking myself: why didn’t I get it?
I loved it from first sniff. You may not like it, but you can’t deny the craftsmanship behind it. It is peculiar. I was a bit disappointed at first with the performance, but I was wrong. This projects only moderately, but it does project. It also stays for a long, long time.
To me it’s a hard scent to define. Even with the notes by Clive Christian (green oriental with notes of armoise and kaffir lime, sandalwood and vetiver, cinnamon, papyrus, labdanum) it’s hard to describe. Is it musky? Not sure. Definitely incense? An atypical one. Sweet? Bitter? I’m just not sure.
There’s lots going on here. And it’s fantastic. A vision in a dream, certainly.

With little hesitation, can now confidently declare in the most adamant manner that this scent is my signature fragrance. Just about perfect to my nose after years of looking for the one or perhaps two or maybe three to ride above the rest.
Psychedelic is so well rounded to cover all bases of my desired notes in a scent. Consider it holiday season, fireworks, some meditation, fresh forests, luxury cigar boxes, lime cheesecakes with a hint of patchouli to add to the gloriously understated yet always present elixir.
10/10

Smelled it, was not impressed at all. The price is lunacy, at this point the vulgarity and pure unadulterated shock of the most expensive perfumes is just a huge turn off. Flanker after flanker, nothing new and nothing worthy, how depressing.

Smells like interlude Man to me at first spray. I will see how it dries down but its very similar

For once I am lost for words. My sample and I are going to retire somewhere dark and quiet and get to know each other. Then I am off to rob a bank. I want it soooooo baaaaadddd. Seriously though, I can think of a million ways to spend this kind of cash which would make me a better person than the one I would be owning a bottle of this indulgent scent. So, it has to be a no. A little self control is good for the soul.
