La Collection de Grasse was presented in 2013 as a special line by the house of L’Occitane en Provence created as homage to the French small town of Grasse, known as the capital of perfumery. Grasse is located near the Mediterranean coast and its position enjoys unique climate, beneficial for growth of various types of herbs and flowers, expertise over the centuries in the cultivation of aromatic plants, extraction techniques and their combination with precious ingredients from of high-end perfumery in the creation of exceptional fragrances.

La Collection de Grasse was initiated with four fragrances and today, including the latest floral fragrance Violette & Rose de Mai, it has 14 editions. Numerous fragrances of this collection are accompanied with beautiful perfumed body care products that truly complement the atmosphere and make us feel the power, beauty and nature of the fragrant blends.

The new Violette & Rose de Mai was announced as a vibrant union which blends floral song if violets and May rose and Grasse. Elegant violet leaves and May rose absolute are bathed in fruity, juicy and tart notes of bergamot and mandarin in top notes, nested in soft woody and creamy base of sandalwood and musk. Composition of Violette & Rose de Mai combines flavors of bergamot, mandarin, cassis, rhubarb and orange in a top. May rose absolute, violet leaves and geranium embellish the heart of the creation, resting on a base of sandalwood and musk.

Perfume Violette & Rose de Mai is available in a flacon of the same form as the previous editions of the collection La Collection de Grasse as a 75ml Eau de Toilette. Violette & Rose de Mai was launched in 2016. The nose behind this fragrance is Karine Dubreuil.
