This is one of my most favorite fragrances ever. It clings to my skin in such a perfect, sensual way. I have smelled zero apple in the EDT, which I came by during a semi-annual sale by chance. It doesn’t last super long. This fragrance leaves me in a cloud of sexy. I honestly think it smells like sex appeal on me which I love. The EDP is really hard to come by now…

This scent has a pop of fruity brightness accompanied by a touch of sexy depth. The apple is crisp (both red and green combined), and is complimented by the deeper notes of fig and oak moss but they’re very subtle, not shouting in your face.
The amber and vanilla exist throughout offering that balance to the fruit. They make the scent less whimsical but still fun, flirtatious and gorgeous…

This is one of the best fragrances to come from Victoria’s Secret in a long time. It’s different from their usual sweet fruity floral scents. The appIe in this is very fleeting and I can only smell it at the opening. As it warms and settles, this scent develops into something very ambery, with a dash of powder and something ever so slightly mossy. I am shocked to find any oakmoss at all in any scent Victoria’s Secret produces. The mossiness is extremely subtle, almost undetectable, yet there it is. The drydown is sweet, dry and warm. This one is nothing like the original VS Gorgeous, and a lot less simple. I would reverse the names of those two. Its such a shame this was discontinued so quickly. I love this.

I really REALLY wish I liked this. I bought a bottle because it was such a good deal at one of the sales and the opening smells great to me, but then it just gets worse and worse, it starts smelling almost MUSTY and I do mean musty and not musky. I LOVE the bottle tho, so pretty:) And I wish I liked the scent, since I now have a FB I will not use any of 🙁

This is a juicy fresh apple scent..it is extremely sweet with a hint of amber behind it…i thought be delicious would be this juicy but this is supersweet and supernice. This is a fun girly scent and great looking bottle with the hounds tooth on the bottom and the puffy atomizer on top..it may not be for everyone because it is strong but if your a gourmand lover you will like this one..be aware this has just been discontinued so get one while you can!

Grr… Guess maybe the original Gorgeous is more my taste…
I can only detect a blast of amber all the way on my skin, no apple, vanilla or bergamot… just amber and maybe a hint of musk…
I was looking for a fruity amber, and this one is just too mature for me…

I actually really like this scent I picked it up when it was on sale. I didn’t think I would like it so much, also my boyfriend liked how it smelled on me compared to my other perfumes. I’m going to be wearing this scent a lot in the fall and winter. The notes I pick up in the fragrance are apple and amber with some musk its sweet, smooth, and sensual. Simply Gorgeous lasts on my skin all day, but if I’m going out for the night I would reapply it. I ended up picking up a second bottle in case I run out since it is discontinued. I rarely like perfumes with a strong apple note so this one is a keeper. This is a great perfume from Victoria Secret’s if you ever see this I would totally grab it.

I bought the 1.7 oz Edp today on sale for $12.25:how awesome is that?The name fits it perfectly as this is one of the most luscious,beautiful perfumes I have ever smelled.I also got the matching full sized lotion for $5.I highly recommend this scent(even if you don’t like fruity florals:like me;)) and I am not usually a big VS fan.It’s sweet but not cloying and very sexy.The staying power is just ok but the lotion is fairly strong so layering them should keep you smelling good for a while.I think it would be great in cooler weather but I like it now in the heat.This would be a great date perfume-I can see guys falling all over you if you had this on(unfortunately haven’t been able to put it to the test yet).I actually like this better than the original though I assume this one is being discontinued as well since it was so cheap:(

Victoria Secret Simply Gorgeous is woody, sweet, and floral. Crimson apple for a crisp sweet top note, sunkissed petals for a soft fresh floral scent, and velvet amber for a light powdery woody base. Unfortunately the Victoria Secret Gorgeous fragrance line doesn’t seem to be doing so well. I got Simply Gorgeous for half off and now even the original Gorgeous is on sale. If you love the Gorgeous fragrances then stock up now because they will soon be discontinued!

I don’t think I would have bought it if it wasn’t 50% off. On the second thought, I should have waited until its 75%off which is what usually happens with VS fragrances that are being discountinued. I can’t say I love it but I do like it, yes. I sampled original Gorgeous and was like “eh..”-same old, same old. VS really irritates me lately because they come out with the exact same thing over and over…common,
VS..But I digress-Simply Gorgeous is more intense and deeper version of Gorgeous to my nose with some extra notes thrown in. This smells very stronly of red apple to me which dominates this scent. There are several floral notes-peony, lily of the valley, freesia and I can’t smell these at all-I get red apple, patchouli, oakmoss and vanilla. As you can see-I get top and bottom notes mostly, all the middle notes do not appear to be evident. Best way to describe this would be deep fruity scent that is a bit more intense that VS usual offerings. It lasts much longer than I anticipated as well probably becaise of patchouli which tends to last longer on me. I bought a body spray and lotion which layered makes it last about 2 hours. Quite a feat for VS since most of their scents fade away at 30 min mark. I wanted to get Simply Gorgeous edp but it has this stupid atomazer that they are clearly very found of because it makes its way on nearly half of their fragrances and which I hate with a passion. Yes, it looks nice on your dressing table but you can’t carry your bottle with you, can’t travel with it and it always leaks and doesn’t spray well..Grrr..so I opted for body spray which I knew won’t last as long but it had regular sprayer. anyway, I think I would give this scent a 3.75 rating on the scale from 1-5. Nice but not mind blowing

Simply Gorgeous – the name is pretty accurate, IMO. I’ve been looking for an apple based perfume for awhile but was unhappy with the options on the market right now. Some were way too sweet and others were way to bitter and strong, I think VS got Simply Gorgeous right. Not too much or too little just enough. I detect sweet red apples, minor hints of flowers and the sweet amber. On me, this lasts a decent amount of time, though I do layer my fragrances. If you want something feminine and flirty adn good for everyday use then you will probably like Simply Gorgeous. Like the name says, its simple and quite gorgeous.

What I noticed about this fragrance. I apply it all over body with matching lotion and could feel fragrance very clear on my clothes even after I washed it!!! Wow!

I used to hate this scent, esp since I work at Victoria’s Secret and when this scent first came out, we had to burn the oil for this scent…bad times :/
But after a while, I finally began to love this scent! I like how it’s fruity but classy at the same time…btw, don’t worry if you see this at the outlet, it doesn’t mean that it has been discontinued yet (I love that outlet tho, everyone should check out the VS outlet once in a while, its like the semi-annual sale all year round).
EDIT 3/19/12: I guess this is getting discontinued 🙁 because it’s now 50% off at all VS stores.

This perfume could be unisex, as for my nose. Sour and bitter in same time, very spicy and juicy red apple! When you applying in on skin it smells exactly like fresh cut red apple. Also I can feel red apple right on my skin, but only when smell close. Around myself I feel just very strong spices.
It’s same bitter as first fragrance, but is much stronger. I like this perfume, as it’s pretty uncommon. Also the bottle is really good this time, it sprays lots of perfume (not like first “Gorgeous”), same as regular bottles with a simple spray. I would recommend this scent to everybody, who likes previous one.

So this must not be selling well at all because it is ALREADY at the Victoria’s Secret Outlet store in Great Lakes Crossing. OUCH! FYI, the original is there too. TONS of them both. LOL!
Anyway, it is an oddly sweet concoction. Just doesn’t do anything for me. I sort of smell a fruit of some kind hanging on for dear life thru the alcohol blast and then I catch a whiff of something sweet and sligtly fresh and…well that is about it. You’d be better off purchasing a body spray from BBW.
Simply Gorgeous isn’t horrific but the notes would suggest something FAR more interesting and this is pretty boring. Oh well. No lasting power, poor scent structure…pass.

This smelled like a bad apple to me. I really wanted to like it, but it just smelled too peppery on. It was not pleasant at all. I could detect a bit of the apple, and I wish it had been more present, because apple is one of my favorite scents! I was expecting a hit, because the bottle is so cute, but the fragrance did not match the bottle and certainly did not impress me. I had a guy smell it and he told me he really didn’t like it, so back to the store it went!

50% fruity floral, 25% floral aquatic, 25% oriental = 100% Simply Gorgeous. It is light for oriental scent. It’s pleasant to wear. Not sugary at all. I just don’t like this pump action spray because it does not atomize as fine as I want.

I sampled this today, and while I liked it much better than the original, I couldn’t bring myself to buy it. The lasting power was very poor, which is a shame. I ended up buying some stuff from the Bombshell line, because at least the lasting power is better with those. I guess if you didn’t like the original Gorgeous, then try this one, but be prepared to layer it.

I really, sincerely am trying NOT to be a hater here, but I think I speak for a large majority of people when I say WTF VS?! Seriously, yet ANOTHER rendition of yet another fruity/floral where the notes aren’t really significant and will last 30 min? Really?!
