Ultimate refreshment! I agree – This is light, airy, grassy summer breeze. It reminds me of Bvlgari Au The Vert. It’s gentle and inoffensive – not masculine but slightly spicy and green. I’m a sucker for mandarin and tomato leaf.
It’s a keeper. It doesn’t have long lasting power or brilliant sillage but it is clean, professional and beautifully crafted. I can’t stop spraying it and sniffing it. It’s invigorating. I love the original 1881 so this is great encouragement to try the other editions…

I would say that, this ain”t masculine at all!!! it”s very grassy/fresh, like a fresh cut grass breeze…it”s suitable for hot summer days…my only dissapointment is about the lasting power…it lasts about 1 hour…
nevertheless its a wonderful summer fragrance, easy to wear.
i must admit that I CANT stand grassy frags, but this one is sooo special and has something different!

First I have to say that I really think that the lasting power is good. Second this scent is so fresh and green. I smell the Sicilian bergamot and the tomato leaf brings an intresting twist to this scent. I would say that this is Chanel No 19’s less diva like and temperamental twin sister. 1881 eau Fraiche is abit of a tomboy. But she is a very pretty tomboy. Like a boyish lady ^^.

This reminds me a very water down version of Dali’s Laguna. This one although has no staying power at all: I guess that is why it comes only in 3.4 oz. bottle. 🙂

I wanted to like this one because the original 1881 smells so good,But this stuff is VERY green almost masculine.I had to look up reviews to make sure that this is a womens perfume it had me fooled! No Sale!
