The original bottle was a sort of 80s version of an ancient chinese bottle. Gold and red cap. Drape motive on the body of the flacon.
The fragrance is very original, a sort of big sandal full of pungent cyclamen, aldehydes and white flowers, dry and creamy at the same time. I find it quite similar with Nocturnes by Caron, and in a remote way with Molinard de Molinard and Quartz. that kind of music.
Smell soapy, clean linen, airy, sunny. Aristocratic-chic.
Pure class. If it was Hermes would be a best seller. Unfortunatly born in 1985 when perfumes had to scream luxury, sensuality and money and sex.

A beautiful and airy fragrance, like a stroll in Rome in springtime.
I detect Aldehides and orange blossom (?!) With a soapy/powdery vibe that it’s not sweet or cloying, the sandalwood/iris combo is absolutely perfect. I wouldn’t wear it, rhough.
I have a perfect bottle of 100ml. Edt to swap/sell

Wonderful fragrance. Unfortunately, my vintage bottle is old and the fragrance lacks completely of longevity. The drydown is the only aspect very long lasting. A masterpiece!

This one used to be GORGEOUS. I bought the bottle seen above and it is definitely a reformulation. It is still a beautiful scent. It reminds me of Maxim’s and even though it is an eau de parfum it has the similar longevity (= less than an hour) and sillage (=zero). Like Action I am a huge fan of Italian perfumes and that’s the reason I bought Via Condotti. This is the last reformulation I will buy. I’ve learned my lesson, not worth the money.

This is a GORGEOUS fragrance! I’ll tell you, those hard core Italian designers really know how to make a perfume work!!
