Solid Parfum review
In keeping with the line’s concept, I’ll treat this review as a meditative, mood enhancing experience and not as a perfume review. With Vespertina this change works in its favor, as it tips a bit towards ‘room scent’ and silage is too personal to be considered an accessory.
This opens warm, resinous and sweet. I am loving that oud doesn’t dominate as a medicinal fog horn, and that jasmine is kept in the background. This is truly an interesting mix of ingredients. Most of us have seen and steered clear of rose/oud combos, but throwing in more tempered olibanum and a darker rose makes this very user friendly.
This is a scent for bubble baths by candlelight, red wine by firelight, and long walks by moon light. It’s just enough of everything sensuous. So far one of my favorites from this line.
