The prices are disgusting for a 50ml, this overnight brand is a disgrace. In the unlikely event that I want a Bertrand Duchaufour fragrance, I will buy one of his other 2 million creations for other brands that sell his stuff for a fraction of the price.

I think Phoung Dang will be the winner for me in perfumerie this year. I highly recommend Vermilion Promise for your loved one(s) for the holidays to come. What a rich, seductive, sensual scent! Nothing I have ever smelt before (to be honest, the whole line is incredibly unique. I will keep this short because there is nothing else to say but to BUY this NOW before everyone else gets on the bandwagon.
This scent is like wearing a dark cashmere sweater. Like chocolate drops in merlot wine. Like taking a swig of rye and you feel that really lovely tingle in the back of your throat. Like a fur throw on the floor next to the fireplace. Are you getting it so far? Comforting, warm, enticing, sexy. I love that this scent doesn’t hit you hard with its bouquet. It waltz in the air so elegantly. The notes that was concentrated feels as if someone put a drop of water in its glass and it began to open up when you spray it on your skin. The opening is straight up oriental: yuzu, freesia, benzoin, bergamot. As it warmed up, it poured a nice glass of rum, as I felt that animalic musk walk by me in the room. That musk stays with you on your skin because the apple and honey keep it there. Labdanum is also a featured character in this novel. This fragrance dries down with lily and cloves that tying it all together. So earthy, delicious, and refined.
I was very delighted to find out that Bertrand Duchaufour was the nose behind this, but what I was most happy about was that it was not a node to Comme des Garçons, Penhaligons, nor L’Artisan.
10/10 and for the rest of the collection as well! MAGNIFIQUE!

This perfume is so beautiful and very interesting. I have tried two from this line and loved them both. I am certain they are expensive but I would enjoy every one of them.
