A light, fruity and floral vanilla fragrance, all three notes are mixed almost equally for me. I think it would wear better in the warmer months, it has a fresh quality to it. The vanilla keeps it more warm and subdued and the fruity florals keep it bright and airy at the same time, it’s a slightly sweet and inoffensive fragrance. It has medium sillage and almost falls a little flat on me, reminding me of a nice body lotion. Will try again in warmer months, but so far count me as not very impressed. It actually reminds me a lot of Note Vanilla without the rum notes.

The hype about some of these niche houses is so hyperbolic that I feel in some ways strange expressing my dissent. On the other hand, I also feel that honesty is the best policy.
I am happy that others are achieving what sounds akin to olfactory ecstasy through this creation and others from this house, but when I applied Micallef Vanille Fleur, my first question was: What is the “fleur”? Honestly, this does not smell like rose to me at all. It’s true, I admit, that I was wearing Keiko Mecheri Attar de Roses last night, so there’s bound to be comparison going on in the back of my mind.
Still, even setting to side my memories of excellent rose perfumes, what I smell here is essentially the bottom of a jam jar, and it’s not even specifically a peach scent. It smells gooey and sticky, and the color of the liquid looks like something from house of Lush.
I’ll keep trying Micallef–I have an entire sample set–but so far I have been more disappointed than not. To me, this seems like a mid-range designer fruity-floral composition. It’s rather sweet and has no layers or complexity whatsoever. What am I missing?

Simple, soft and just a few ingredients short of a gourmand, very peachy vanilla but not super sweet. Nothing artificial or overbearing….entirely delightful. Longevity is at least 7hr, sillage is soft-med. Would love to hear more opinions about this one. I really love this one!
Wish to find a decant of this.

I bought this wonderful scent the other day and was decanting some to a good person here on Fragrantica. The sweet smell of peaches and vanilla we’re imbedded in my finger tips and I couldn’t stop wafting this rich, creamy and most decadent perfume. The vanilla is so scrumptious intermingled with the peach and then when it starts to dry down there is subtle rose that emerges. I didn’t know I liked peach so much but Hubba Hubba this is delightful and I am sure it will get people’s attention.
