Description
In the mid 1990’s, one of the most interesting new trends in the perfume
industry is use of Vanilla as a predominant top note rather than just a base
note present in many classical fragrances.
The Vanilla is a smell that
consumers already know and love, and associate it with childhood and hot
sunny days when things were simple. As we are starting a new century,
people are looking back with nostalgia to the real and simple values in life.
With this mind, we have decided to develop this “Vanilla trend” targeted to
attract new users and especially among the younger consumers.
For the packaging, we have kept the clean and the elegant theme of Musk
using the white printing combined with the yellow of VANILLA.

I had not seen this perfume in a long time until yesterday when I went to Sears and saw a table of Alyssa Ashley Vanilla body lotion and shower gels in bottles with the punp. Not sure if all the Sears carry these but if anyone is looking for these try Sears.

I have purchased this item a few times in the past, it’s definitely worth the cheap price. As a vanilla lover I could not dislike it-it smells like pure vanilla, except for the first 5-10 minutes when the main (rather unpleasant) note is citrusy.

It´s a warm, sweet vanilla scent. I´m almost out and I would definitly repurchase again. It´s quite similiar to “Yves Rocher – Bourbon Vanille”, even though I think that one is SLIGTLY better. I own both though and would continue to buy both because although their similiar they are also different. 🙂

To my nose, this smells like vanilla. Nothing else.
Not the smokey scent from vanilla pods: it is more vanillin, but nice anyway.
It reminds me of creme brûlée, quite mouth watering, even though a bit too simple to be a perfume.
If I liked vanilla fragrances I would surely go for this one.

I just adore this scent. My aunt had it on her car because she is not into vanilla scents, and instead of a parfum-use,she used it like a car-parfum (she used to smoke). It’s kind of a weird story, but this scent transport me to my childhood, to my 5 years-old me, having fun with my aunt.

This is my favourite vanilla – a clean tooth achingly pure sweet vanilla with no heaviness/musk/caramel/florals etc.
I’ve tried L’Aromarine Vanille, CP Abricot Vanille, CO Bigelow Vanilla oil, VC&A Vanille Orchidee, YR Vanille etc and Alyssa Ashelys simplicity wins me over with TBS vanilla perfume oil (havent tried the original) as the next fav.

It really smells of vanilla. Funny that i thought of lemon even it does not smell lemon, and it was before i read the notes here. I think it will go perfect with just bergamott.

It is not the best vanilla scent, i more prefer the vanilla drydown in Pink Sugar Sparks by Aquolina.

I love vanilla and this scent is the perfect one. It does not smell like citrus or flowers it just smell like pure vanilla!! I love this one perfume. It smells very strong so it keeps with you a day or two. I just love it!

I love vanilla scents however this once never really grabbed me. It was nice, but others were my favorite. Slighty musky, but a sweet vanilla none the less.

It smells quite synthetic and super sweet and it doesn’t last for very long either. It wasn’t my “cup of tea” and I ended up giving it away to a friend who adored it.
If you love sweet vanilla scents then go ahead, but that’s all there is to this scent.

Wonderful vanilla scent. This is a great starter perfume, or something that is good to layer on top of other perfumes. I often love a perfume but notice it lacks a little vanilla… then I layer this baby on and it is just awesome. If you like that straight, plain vanilla scent, take a whiff of this and you will be in vanilla nirvana. It is fairly cheap and I think readily available, if not in stores, online.

Smells like vanilla candy. It’s a nice smell, yet I’m not sure I think this is a good fragrance. Unlike Adriana_87, I find this vanilla scent quite synthetic – nothing wrong with that per se, but here it disturbs me. This scent is entirely linear on me. If you don’t mind smelling like candy or cheap shampoo, this might be something for you.

This was one of the first perfumes I bought myself as a teenager. Loved it then and really like it now. Can´t say I smell anything more than vanilla in it but the vanilla is so sweet and warm and lovable.
Let´s talk about sillage. This is not a very loud perfume, maybe upon the first sprays people around you notice it but it quickly settles to become a skinscent.
After three-four hours I have to put my nose on my wrist and arm to smell it and then it smells great, can´t argue about that, but it can just as well be my own skinscent and not a perfume.
One hour later there isn´t even a trail left.
Vanilla is a rather cheap perfume so you can afford reapplying throughout the day. I´ts worth it.
