Valbonne opens with a woodsy base; Projection is average; masculine in form and longevity is about 8+ hours. Only draw back is that it is similar to other fragrances that you could own, one being Black Walnut from Banana Republic.
    Overall, a great fragrance!!!
    Pros: Woodsy, projection, masculine, longevity
Cons: Similarity to Black Walnut Banana Republic…

To me this is a bad copy of AQUA DI PARMA Essenza. Very weak I am afraid. Initially you can smell the ingredients and notes, but they quickly fall apart.
Good concept, yet still a copy and just far too weak.
Shame really,…oh well there is always the reliable AdP.
Good for summer use for it has that sunkissed appeal and has a bit of a bitter almond note that I came across in some old-skool self tanning lotions.
Still, for the same money you can and should invest into AdP.

Valbonne opens with vetiver and a mélange of sweet flowers, plus a pungent leather note that doesn’t play very nicely with the others, but it does settle down after a while. Can’t say I noticed any bergamot. At first it strikes me as quite masculine, but once the vetiver also calms down it takes on a more unisex vibe – the orange blossom becomes more noticeable, it stays pleasantly sweet, and the leather and vetiver combine to give a nice woodsy, somewhat smoky effect.
