I want to second what wunderland posted. I saw reference to this perfume in a Rachel Ray magazine and I have to admit I wanted it just for what I was picturing the perfume to be a lovely chocolate covered cherry + marshmallow smell. I didn’t get what I was expecting. The opening is WAY too screechy and I have to admit it’s such an unappealing opening that I end up washing it off because it stinks so badly on me. It’s such a small bottle and I hope I can use it up…maybe I’ll accidentally try out another perfume that’s unappealing and I can blend the two into something halfway decent.
Edit: I had posted this part on another part of the site and thought I should do it here as well. I managed to save this perfume. I got Rihanna’s Rebelle perfume and wasn’t crazy about how it smelled. Decided to blend Rebelle with this one and it actually smells very pleasant mixed together.

* These are my personal experiences/thoughts with this fragrance. Yours/others may differ. *
Initial – cherry + orange
Drydown – marshmallow + vanilla orchid + benzoin + jasmine + sandalwood
Duration – 2-3 hours
Projection – soft
Experiences – The opening is a very unpleasant 5-10 minutes of synthetic cherry (reminiscent of cherry Sucrets lozenges). Drydown is mostly marshmallow, but lays very close to the skin. No better than a body spray/mist.
Quick Thoughts – synthetic, cough drops, short-lived

This does smell like Valentines day. Like chocolate covered cherries maybe. I really like it and I would love to rebuy it but the longevity is pretty bad. 3 hours or so. I’m constantly reapplying. I saw that Escadas Cherry in the Air is similar and I think Ill try that before rebuying but if it does not satisfy I probably will rebuy this only when its on sale and have to keep one of those travel atomizers with this in it. If Anyone else has any suggestions on perfumes like this please PM me with it.

so disappointed. i was expecting chocolate dipped cherries, but i got sweet floral citrus. it’s cloying, gave me a slight headache – my first Avon headache. sweet but definitely not gourmand. tried it on a warm day though … maybe it’s a winter fragrance? i won’t give up on it just yet

Oooh La La!
This is like Valentine’s Day in a bottle! Chocolate covered jammy roses and powdery cherries in a bouquet of orchids! The roses and orchids overpower the jasmine and that works for me. The base delivers warmth, sweetened sandalwood and earthy dark cocoa powder. Lasts for more than a day on my skin.
This is casual gourmand fun. I’m so glad I bought this.

This fragrance opens with true maraschino cherries and a touch of chocolate covered marshmallows and rose petals, sweet, almost cloying, but light. It reminded me a bit of Cherry in the Air but not as strong, and with added chocolate.
The sweet cherry blend lasts throughout the life of Ultra Sexy Heart.I don’t really smell the other fruits except for a hint.
The drydown is a powdery, dry cacao/sandalwood mix, with the cherry/marshmallow lingering in the background, quite a lovely drydown and a bit different for Avon.
Sillage and longevity are on the low end of moderate. I wish Avon made this in an EDP, since it would last longer and project better, but I do love Ultra Sexy Heart. It really is sexy, in a fun, flirty way.

I just ordered this from my Avon lady. I can’t wait to receive it because the notes sounds like it will smell very gourmand. I did the scratch and sniff from the catalog but I can’t honestly give an accurate account of the smell. The description in the catalog said maraschino cherries and decadent chocolate marshmallow. They had me at “decadent chocolate marshmallow”. But I see the notes above lists chocolate and marshmallow by themselves. No worries, I will like it anyway. What’s not to love about a fragrance with “decadent” and “chocolate” on the description?
Edit February 9th, 2016:
So I finally have this and it smells like Valentines Day. Like opening a box of chocolate covered cherries and candy hearts and something effervescent such as champagne or some fruity wine, all of these combined. I quite like it. It smells a little bit like Avon’s Frosted Winterberry scent (not on Fragrantica, why don’t they include Avon’s body sprays in the database by the way?). It’s a lovely fragrance and my only gripe is that it has zero lasting power. Becomes a skin scent ten minutes after application. I’m going to use this all up within a week because I have to keep reapplying. This would be a good seller if it had better longevity because it really is quite lovely.
