I really like this mix of violets and vanilla, it’s so nice and casual. In the first hour of wearing Jeans I can smell something a little bit odd that reminds me of the old fashioned ink for fountain pens but it goes away soon. I don’t smell any tuberose and I am glad because I really don’t like tuberose. I start thinking that violets and vanilla are a perfect match. An interesting and nice perfume, laid back and classy.

For me, Jeans is a slightly spicy,( I guess this is the tobacco vibe others have mentioned) slightly powdery ,violet with a bit of vanilla musk. I can detect a bit of freesia and heliotrope but the violet is the standout floral note. The silage is low to moderate. If you like any of the notes I mentioned you need to try this one, It’s a truly beautiful purple floral scent. UPDATE: after about ten mins the tobacco note really amps for me and takes this to a totally different level of love. This has now become for me, the most amazing purple floral EVER

One side it is a green scent, one side is more sweet-warm.
There is a song that will describe it well:
“In the rhythm of the mountains, in the words of the stones
In bird’s eye view, in speech space
It’s peaceful, they say, after one year
Heals thoughts, it does not take me
In the bricks of the wires, in the shadow of the ceilings
In the wind of breath, in the mud of the inscriptions
    They are small and poor
I feed them and feed them”
This perfume is urban/modern in my opinion, sweetly disturbing, even lights up the senses.
I have used 4 or 5 bottles in the years 2003-2005.
I use this product from around 10 years

After spraying: Meadowsweet’s leaves + cellucotton (sterile antiseptic scent) + crushed cherry pits (heliotrope) + violet
After several hours and from the distance:
Drying grass + hot asphalt (like drive through a meadow on a hot day during hay-making)

I used to own this fragrance but then I grew tired of it, and gave it away. Just yesterday I bought the body cream of Balenciaga Paris and guess what? The Balenciaga is a very very close dupe of the Trussardi Jeans fragrance! The Trussardi might have been a tad more musky and heavy. I know that there are so many fragrance dupes out there, and I’m glad I found this one.

Also to add to my comment down below, my box has coumarin note listed in this scent, which comes from tonka bean. It is what give off that delicious slight tobacco note that Sherapop mentioned earlier. Sexy…..

Just got this in the mail today from a fragrance online store in Canada. Powdery and woody, pretty soft, I like it quite a bit.

I remember this scent, it is quite particular, it is woodsy and powdery. Intimate. Casual but definitely not for everyone…the woodsy vibe wasn’t my favorite but it has a really intriguing softness…I would gladly revisit it…it had something I didnt forget…

Leaf buds. Kinda strange, but it reminds me of leaf buds and spring-early summer.
    I can’t find it anywhere 🙁

I had a tiny sample of this when I was a child. I loved it sooooo much.
It’s simple, elegant, comfortable, powdery and soft. Like your favorite pair of black jeans paired with a fitted white shirt.

You can count on Trussardi items. i have another bottle Donna and i prefer this Jeans. Both are Floral.
From top to base, flowers dominate. However i don’t detect much floral. It’s not the sunshine loud floral bomb. Roses and jasmine are abesent. This is undertone and quiet floral. Too reserved that i only find it powder, woody and musk. See the color of the bottle–very light purple blue–fit the style of the perfume.
    Longevity is medium.

Isn’t i interesting how everybody smells something different with any perfume? To me this does not smell like a flowery scent. I’m on my second bottle, I love this. It smells clean and calm, I like to spray it before doing yoga. Lasts for a long time and sticks close to the skin but even after hours I can still clearly smell it on me. It’s a very unique scent ( like all Biagiottis ) and it doesn’t remind me of anything I know. It’s definitely not like the uniform, all too much the same ‘in’scents of today.

A unique smell. I had to get used to it first but now I like it. Have to be in the mood to wear it. Now I find it rather soft and soothing than unusual.
I would put this in the same category as Tommy Hilfiger Dreaming , CK Downtown, Gucci Perfume II, in terms of subtleness and fresh-clean feeling that it gives me.

Very sweet, candied violets with a soft heliotrope compliment. Gentle, not too strong. Has some sort of spicy accord in the opening but it doesn’t last long. I can’t detect the vanilla exactly but it is quite sweet. Good if you are looking for an uncomplicated violet. If you like complex scents this is not it.

I really regret blind buying this. Since many of you gave this fragrance good reviews, it’s either my flacon is expired/fake or it’s just BAD. The only thing I can smell is an alcoholic blend of wood & spices (neither of them being listed in the notes here). No trace of violets, which I have very much expected to find.

Jeans does not remind me of She Wood. She Wood is nice but watery and a bit bland, on the other hand Jeans, while also being light and calm, has a much more developed and distinct character.
    Actual scent pyramid:
green notes, violet, hedione (jasmine nuance), freesia, white lily, concrete tuberose, white muscs, heliotrope, liatrix (tobacco nuance).
It’s cooling, clean yet enveloping scent suitable for all seasons and tobacco here is of the freshest kind, a real charm. Smells like some scented snuff but surpisingly (i’m not a fan of tobacco of any kind) i love Trussardi Jeans!
So why all good things always get discontinued. Shame.

Trussardi Jeans for me is a state of mind I do get after relaxation exercises. A bliss, I am perfectly at ease and perfectly happy with who I am. And such is this fragrance, soft, serene, enveloping.

Second bottle. Love it. Its perfect for office. Its not a modern sugarsweet scent, this is a scent with great flowernotes where Violet, Lily, Vanilla, Musk and Heliotrope stands out on my skin. Longlasting. Very chic and very female’ish. Timeless – Trussardi Jeans is great on both younger and middleaged women, in my opinion. The Violet-opening reminds me of Dsquared2 SheWood alot (another great scent, in my opinion).
Andra flaskan. Klar favorit.

Will it sound weird if I say this juice smells a bit like soft, rubbery plastic dolls? Is that the violet, or the heliotrope?
I love the violet; there was a huge field of wild violets where I grew up, and I often collected them in a bouquet for my mom.
    I don’t believe I ever smelled a heliotrope.
Water lily, although listed as one of the top notes, is not happening for me. However, what is happening is the tobacco leaf, so I am surprised it is not in the notes at all.
I don’t get the freesia at all, and just a smidgeon of (Easter) lily. The drydown is soft, powdery and predominantly vanilla, but also with a hint of chocolate.
Overall, a safe, everyday fragrance for a person who prefers jeans and tee shirt over a dress and heels.
Sillage – dismal, which is a pity; it is a lovely fragrance but I literally have to shove my nose into my wrist/elbow to be able to detect it. I’d say, that makes “Jeans” super-safe for the office. Lasting power – 5 – 6 hrs.

I have a very strange relationship with this perfume. Most of the time i love it, but not always. Our liaison is loaded with ambivalent feelings. I find Jeans literally Janus-faced, with two different character:
    1. Flowers (mainly violet). A little bit smokey, spicey and tart, but still sensitive. A mature, modern floral. A whiff of the scent of tobacco leafes gives courage and power to violets. There’s just a little hint of sweetness, and i cannot detect any lilly or freesia. This is the face of Jeans i really love.
    2. Avocado cream. Ridiculous, but true: sometimes i feel nothing but the scent of avocado cream.
It’s not me, on who it depends which of the two Jeans i meet. The scent changes his face for his own sake. I guess it means that Trussardi Jeans has personality.

What à masterpiece!! Upgrade on She wood original for sure! One of THE most wonderful Woody perfumes ever! I would say the Woody note to be the most dominant note in this perfume!

this fragarance reminds me of Calvin Klein’s OBSESSION NIGHT.I pretty much like it.

The beauty of Trussardi Jeans is it is so wearable and melds into its wearer perfectly, it makes for the perfect everyday perfume. The violet and heliotrope notes make for a cool, sweet, and comforting scent (a combination that can be hard to find in perfumery). Also may I say this is the twin for the far more expensive L’Artisan Jour de Fete.

There’re a lot of reviews about similarity to “she wood”. Must say, I was very disappointed trying to find even though a bit of “jeanses” in “she wood”.
There’s nothing in common, for me. “Jeans” is very especial, very mystifying, despiting to it’s simplicity; “she wood” – very linear, clear and fresh, but all of those notes going all over opposite way.

I love the fragrance but at first I didn’t – first impression was it was too calm and delicate.
I tried it once again and it was after I had known Trussardi Inside and I became a big fan of Jeans (and Inside too).
Jeans is soft, feminine, a bit herbal (only a bit), sweet but not too sweet and after a few hours a bit chocolate-like, but it’s a hint of chocolate, not a gourmand perfume. Jeans is like a cameleon, I love it!

On me this is a lovely, incredibly refreshing floral with the tiniest hint of peppery sharpness. It makes me think of fresh cut flowers with morning dew on the petals. There is hardly any sweetness in this and I am really gald to find that there is no vanilla, because I think this perfume would loose all its charm if somebody tried to warm it up this common way.
It is quite minimalistic, a little ‘moist’ and airy at the same time. It takes me to a garden on a chilly, cloudy spring morning after a rainy night. But the garden is not full of various flowers, but it’s more like a field of grass with some carefully thought through flowerbeds on both sides.
Trussardi Jeans is wonderful in its simplicity and proves that a fragrance does not need to be loaded with vanilla and sweet flowers to be feminine.

This one has A LOT in common with Dsquared SHE wood!
    Love them both!

This fragrance wears as comfortable to me as a pair of favorite jeans, not the grungy, worked under the car-all-day jeans but nice fitting, dressed up with a silk shirt and small pearls or sharply tailored and freshly pressed linen/cotton blouse with one or two fine link gold or silver necklaces. Very ladylike fragrance. Can’t put my finger on all the notes but there are definitely some woody notes I’m not familiar with but are there just the same. If I had to compare it to another fragrances notes I would have to say from the Escentric Molecules, maybe 03 or 02. It started out kind of plasticky, packaging material at first but I gave it a chance to develop and now it is one of my favorite Trussardi creations. Going to want to try “Trussardi” and “Donna” next.

Bittery-powdery violet in this makes it a very good casual perfume, suitable indeed for jeans wearing, like its name suggests. Is is a very succeeded violet perfume, not old-fashioned over-powdery or girly-sweet. Jeans is the perfume of a teen to young woman who is bold, cool and independent, but also very natural. A tint of tobacco may be felt in it, giving the fragrance a more boldness but also a discrete note of maturity.

Trussardi JEANS was a seriously pleasant surprise: a beautiful floriental with a tobacco-esque edge! From the moment I applied this sumptuous edt, I was trying to decide what accounted for its irresistibility. Lots of violet, to be sure. But the true stars of this show are not listed at Fragrantica, though happily they are written on the company card appended to my vial: liatrix and hedione!
Liatrix, I learned through a quick google which landed me at osmos, is a part of the tobacco family and is used to add an oriental quality to perfumes. Agreed. I love this note, which is the same that I have encountered in a few officially “tobacco” fragrances of late, including Creed TABAROME.
Hedione, according to wiki, is another name for methyl dihydrojasmanate, an ester and “diffusive aroma compound” with a fatty floral quality somewhat similar to jasmine. Agreed.
Yum! I love JEANS and have added it to my wish list, despite its middling longevity.

I wanted to like this one,but there’s something wrong about it.it starts with strong alcohol scent and it finishes with strong artificial, plastic scent.
I should confess that you can smell something like violet, but I’m sure there are better violet perfumes out there.
it doesn’t even smell like flowers!it’s something artificial mixed with musk.
