This is very beautiful and overlooked. To me, it smells gentle, sweet and childlike. It’s everything I want in scents lately. It goes on almost like a more sweet, syrupy less effervescent Organza and dries down to a pleasant baby soap/oil floral.
Desperate – :
Still collecting summer frags.
Blind bought this one.
I like it. To me it is STRIKINGLY similar to Amarige. A muted, less sparkling Amarige. More vanilla, tonka and tiare here than in Amarige…. But incredibly similar, still.
Amarige, though, I must say, is way better than this.
It is not an obvious beach scent like say CSP Tiare or Bronze Goddess, but it fits fine at the beach, or in the evening, or whatever. I would say a most fitting spring scent.
It seems to last for a moderately long while, however, it stays really, REALLY close to the skin (my skin, at least.).
I am not floored by this one. It just makes me miss Amarige.
I may be passing this one on to my niece.

Where on earth are people getting similar to Monyette???
deman90 – :

It is amazing. Deep, warm, sophisticated scent. Just perfect for gardenia/ tiare flower lovers. Tiare, vanilla and tonka bean combi…creamy, slightly spicy peppery flowery perfume. Lovely, not too sweet. Excellent longevity and good sillage. Good for evening wear. Very special. I will be very upset if this is discontinued…

It’s my signature scent, longevity n sillage is excellent, on clothes it’s forever, the bottle looks ordinary, I managed to receive another bottle . Party wear sexy scent, once it settles after half n hour it’s delicious spicy floral, there is no other perfume like this . Tonka beans, tiara n white pepper lovers would go mad. A must in collection for floral lovers.

Another pleasant surprise from Ted Lapidus.
When I spray it first, it is very herbal and weird, almost like Dior Dune, the same bitter smoke. Then it dries down to nice, silk, soft and luxurious vanilla, white pepper and sandalwood shawl. Longevity is about six hours with moderate projection and then just whiffs from time to time.
My routine is spraying three sprays at 8:30 a.m., 5 p.m. and midnight before going to bed. It survives these intervals so it’s pretty good. The price is ridiculous so it’s worth a try, not a big loss if you won’t like it.

A very nice scent. A bit skinclose but fresh and longlived. To me Pour Elle is not Oriental but a nice fresh flowery scent. Great for spring and summertime.
en trevlig doft. Lite hudnära men fräsch och långlivad. För mig är Pour Elle inte en oriental utan en fräsch blommig doft. Perfekt för vår/sommar.

Great, quality product. Go for it ladies and gentlemen, you will not be disappointed, totally undervalued

Very nice perfume. Personally the opening reminds me of Kashaya by Kenzo, even if they don’t share common notes. I am glad because until recently I hadn’t found something similar to Kashaya. I discovered this by chance, when my friend gave me some of her old bottle that it was about to end. I am very happy so I am going to buy a new bottle of it. As described by others it is flowery and sweet. It is also warm, feminine and elegant in a good price. I suggested it for fall, winter, day or night.

Awsome scent, unrated, bottle does injustice to the juice inside, strong balsamic floral perfume, my signature, second review. Different unique n strong, long lasting on skin upto 8/9 hrs, on clothes forever!’

I’m so glad I discovered Ted Lapidus because every scent from the house that I have tried has been very solid. Good compositions, decent performance, originality, and reasonable price. I was excited to try TL Pour Elle because I am quite a fan of the men’s version of this fragrance. I am happy to report that TL Pour Elle is completely equal in quality.
Pour Elle is heady white floral that is subdued enough to be widely appealing (many white florals can cause divided reactions due to the indolic, “fecal” component that they can impart to a scent). It feels familiar but is still unique. There is a soft, almost spongy quality to the fragrance – maybe it’s marshmallow coming to mind. I feel as though it was also bold move for the perfumer to use ylang-ylang and tiare front and center in a composition that is decidedly non-beachy. It works well though, as these floral notes create a fragrance that is fresh but luxuriant.
Pour Elle is a gorgeous, unusual floral that is befitting to a large variety of women. It is easy to wear and very flattering. I would highly recommend trying it out.

This is lovely on a sunny day with a breeze. I really enjoy how this fragrance softly projects.
It’s sweetly floral, but creamy. Tropical, but not beachy. Like lounging in a cabana.
At first the freesia is very prominent, but then TL Pour Elle becomes a soft floral medley backed by tonka & sandalwood.
Despite the odd, clunky and somewhat sporty looking bottle TL Pour Elle is a soft, classy floral that would be wonderful for spring/summer events such as weddings.
A great vacation fragrance as it could go from poolside to a nice dinner.

Don’t judge a scent by it’s bottle. I acquired this in a swap. I was a little hesitant based upon the look of the bottle and it’s inexpensive price. I got the bottle new, box wrapped in cellophane. I was ambivilant about opening it. I must have had it for 2 or 3 weeks on my nightstand, unopened. Last night I caved in. What a tiare safari! It was like getting off a plane in Tahiti and walking past the leis for sale, minus the price of the plane ticket. Living in snow country, there are times when I just want to be teleported to a tropical island. TL Pour Elle may look tacky, may be cheaply priced, but bang for buck this juice gives it all. I’m still smelling a lighter version, this morn from the crook of my elbow, (edt). I guess I have to put up with the ugly duckling bottle to get to the sweetness inside.
ricsskendency – :
Lovely sweet creamy and unsual scent. As mentioned before very underated. I wore this to a very special occasion many years ago so this has very special memories for me.
Faubabafe – :
A nice soft perfume that goes a long way.
I think it is very feminin.
When I need a mood lifter I use this scent.
dez – :
This is quiet beautiful…
I see on tropical island, beautiful girl like on the poster with well tanned skin laying on the warm sand with tiare flowers on her hair. Near her tropical flowers blooming and worm sea breath playing with her hair…
I use to live in Tahiti and it is exactly how was smelling on the beach. It smelled of tanning oils and of tiare flowers as they were growing everywhere. It was possible to buy hand made Monoi, pure coconut oil with tiare flowers extracted in it. Pour elle remained me the smell of it, if the monoi oil applied on skin and wormed up on the tropical sun.
The woods and tonka beens balancing the tiare flower wonderfully, the white pepper makes it a little piquant and vanilla adds a creaminess to all composition.
Remained me a cleaner version of Lalique le Parfum, but I prefer pour Elle, it is more wearable to me and less spicy.
Excellent longevity and good silage.

Обалденный аромат!
DREAM1 – :
This is a very beautiful and very underrated fragrance that definitely deserves more attention.
Pour Elle is a sweet creamy oriental with a prominent tiare note. Judging by the bottle I expected something more of a casual type and was pleasantly suprised how elegant it smells….so don’t be mislead by the minimalistic plain looking bottle.
I really like Ted Lapidus fragrances for having distinctive and quite unique personalities.
If you wonder how it smells like, the closest fragrance in character would be probably Lalique Le Parfum. Well, I also detect some hints of Armani Idole
Great sillage and longevity on my skin, a fragrance suitable for most of the year…maybe not so much for the hottest season.
oxychorce – :
It is an interesting scent. At first spray there is just a hint of something that I do not like. But after a few mins. I really enjoy it.
10100 – :
Very nice fragrance, it goes flowery sweet but very refined and light. The lasting power is amazing. The tiaré drydown goes on forever. If you like fragrances like Burberry London you will like this one.
