Is this in honor of the old old version of Chantilly? there is a slight similarity.
Tilly is beautiful and well formulated. The use of a very subtle coconut, and not a sweet coconut, to bring the other notes together and keep them in its veil works beautifully. I detect orris as well, just slight but enough to compliment the gardenia and fruit.
Not sweet or cloying but a perfectly balanced bouquet of fruit & floral that doesn’t scream, or promote any one note.

Tilly is a pretty linear fragrance consisting of simply grapefruit and gardenia with gardenia taking the dominant role. It is very powerful, the sillage is amazing. Ultimately this is not my thing, but if you love grapefruit and gardenia you’re sure to be enamored with Tilly.

I tried this one the other week and it really stayed with me. I can’t decide if I should buy it or not. It is a very summery fragrance. It is along the same vein as Lolavie by Jennifer Aniston or Monyette Paris but not as cloying. I get a bit of Kai from it but not in a bad way.
Edit: I sold my Monyette Paris and regretted it. I came accross this and bought it. I think I might like it a bit better, its not as buttery and not as strong on the tuberose (think Madonna Truth or Dare). It smells like those older bath beads you used to buy which I looooove the smell of. I have already had a couple compliments since buying this, saying it suits me.I nearly bought Leila Lei which is really nice too but I am glad I got this first.

I purchased the sample. Nice beachy scent. A little too much for me. I enjoy Leila Lou a lot, Rosie Jane’s other scent.
