Everyone’s different….this lasts overnight on me! Well worth the $200!❤️

I really don’t understand the love this one gets. It’s a pleasant vanilla, but nothing earth-shattering, and it’s a completely linear skin scent. After five minutes, you can barely smell it, and it’s gone entirely within three hours. There are a million better vanillas out there, especially at $200 a bottle.

    Tihota Eau de Parfum
Vanilla beans dipped in warm caramel, rich and intoxicating.
Tahitian vanilla pods with its delectable cherry nuances are used with the highest regard in this masterpiece. I’m head over heels with this one!

Finally, another coup de coeur. I love it, my wife loves it; what could be better.
Truly high-grade distinctive vanilla here.. the best of the best.
    By Francis Kurkdjian..not surprised.
I am a thirty year-old man btw, and a tall big black gentleman was buying this from the store when I first discovered this juice. So I asked him, for obvious reasons, “is this for you? or..” he replied, “yes it’s for me, for my enjoyment”. We both chuckled, and I answered “I understand. Trust me”.

I’ve never come so close to taking a bite out of my arm. Delicious. Are the top notes cut with a tinsey bit of coffee? I just got a delivery of twelve new fragrance samples and of course this is the one I want.

I have been wanting to try this FOREVER (I’m a vanilla/gourmand addict)and finally gave in and ordered a couple of samples….I never should have done this. This is simple but most definitely not plain or boring. Not to be yet another voice, but frankly this is the best vanilla I have ever worn. Warm, cozy, not cloying or “sticky”, sillage is working for me, it’s nice but not overwhelming. Longevity is surprisingly great. Expensive, but I must never be without this!

Over my years of haunting Fragrantica, I’ve often seen Tihota described as the ultimate vanilla scent, and now that I’ve finally tried it for myself, I have to join the chorus: it’s just as wonderful as everyone says it is. Which is bad news in a sense – I’d much prefer to have discovered the ultimate vanilla fragrance in a more affordable bottle – but all the same I can’t help being delighted by it.
There’s little to say about the scent itself – it’s just pure vanilla, done to perfection. I don’t even get any musk, just a very realistic and altogether addictive vanilla, with the slightly fruity/boozy edge of the real thing. At the same time, it’s nothing like a kitchen ingredient, however lifelike it is: it’s very obviously a real perfume. And a very well-balanced one too, for all of its simplicity; unless you overspray, it projects just right all day long. I’ll try to make my decant last, but I’m afraid there’s no way around it: I already can’t imagine being without Tihota in the colder months, so I better start saving up for a bottle.

In my limited search for a true-to-vanilla pod scent, I found this to be the closest. But don’t spray it! Dab it. I decant this into a small 1ml sample vial and dab it on that way. Spraying it onto the skin seems to disperse the liquid too much and you get a plasticky synthetic vanilla instead, which I do NOT like. Little goes a long way, I wear it as a skin scent.
It is sweet and comforting, and I love it. Loved it so much that I regretted selling my first bottle and bought a second one.

This is the best vanilla in the world! I’ve been nursing two small samples and finally a full bottle is on its way to me! To my nose I get pure creamy vanilla and sensual musk. It’s so well blended (thanks Maison Kurkdjian) and no playdough to be found in this beautiful perfume! Yes,it’s expensive ,but worth every single dollar! It lasts a loonnnng time too! I hope they never discontinue it ! It’s just vanilla class all the way! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Got my full bottle today! In love Big Time! NOTHING compares!
    Awesome longevity and excellent sillage!
    Compliment magnet!

I gotta be honest, I was just a little bit disappointed with this. I expected it to be smoother, deeper and creamier. I found it straight up sugary sweet, almost sharp vanilla. I lurve vanilla and I do love this but it just wasn’t quite what I expected. I will enjoy my decant but I don’t think I would purchase a full bottle.

Every 8 years or so, I get a sudden urge to eat marshmallows. I imagine how good they’re going to taste and smell, how light and fluffy, how soft and sweet. Tihota Indult smells like what I always think eating marshmallows is going to be like.

Well. Color me converted. I already own and love Arquiste The Architects Club, Atelier Vanilla Insensee, and of course SHALIMAR, but I needed more vanilla in my collection. Bought a decant, went through it in a week. It’s so sexy and decadent. There’s a floral orchid element that is very compelling, the musk is womanly and just salty enough.
This is a scent that will have you running to eBay to unload your collection in order to justify the $200 price tag. It is so, so good. Thank god they resurrected it, it really does smell like heaven.

It is nice and has the sweetness of a candy floss , I expected to find it as one of the notes .

Oh, Tihota, how I love thee.
Thou art my most vanilla-ish vanilla.
You are vanilla and musc and amber and soul warming comfort. You work well with other fragrances, but I can tell you are most comfortable by yourself. On my skin you last forever, and little old ladies tell me you smell “dangerous and good enough to eat”, which yeah, I agree, but it disturbs me how sexual that sounds.
My scarves will forever smell like you, should I decide to never wash them. My cats WILL probably smell like you for as long as they live, since they refuse to bathe.
I love how seemingly sweetly girlish you are when you meet someone new, but after 3o minutes they realise that you are actually not that sweet and with a slight but distinct dryness. That’s why we go so well together, Tihota!
And maybe you’re not as sexy as that model from Victoria’s Secret (whatshername, Vanilla Lace?) but… but there’s just something about you, Tihota, that others can never, ever replicate.
Tihota, don’t let the haters get you down, you just do you!
    *whispers* Iwantyourbabieslet’sgrowoldtogetheeeeeer….

  15. :

If you want to pay $$$ for Victoria’s Secret Vanilla Lace with better longevity, this is it. Tihota is a very thick, linear vanilla with an amber base that I just cannot get myself to like, although it gets a lot of compliments and I know many who absolutely love this scent. I prefer vanilla in a more complex gourmand – this is pretty much simple, sharp vanilla extract..

  16. :

Creamy vanilla scents are, to put it mildly, not my thing. I don’t like anything confectionery on my person.
But this is such a cult hit that I had to try it out. I was at the Scentbar the other day and saw it, and spritzed a bit on the back of my hand.
I can see why gourmand lovers enjoy this one. It really smells like the thickest, richest vanilla buttercream frosting on the most expensive cake you’ll ever eat. Actually it smells like you fell into that cake and the frosting was sixteen inches thick.
*If* you find that kind of thing sexy, you will drool over this one.
I will never wear it, but I appreciate it for what it is, the sweet vanilla to end all sweet vanillas really.

  17. :

    3 out of 5

I lined up my vanillas and compared. This one wins hands down, it is heavenly. And nothing like those cheap acents, when you line them up side by side. Less boozy, more floral-leaning, and full-bodied. Absolutely perfect.

Today I finished TIHOTA and I find myself in a dilemma. This was my first perfumistico caprichazo, as my collection grew stayed in “pause” during (though short), some periods of time. This has been my third replenishment, and certainly thought that it must be the last, at least for now; Since I have proposed me to curb my anger with so much new acquisition (which to be honest is a list that never ends…) and go first ending the fragrances that I already have. I thought having clear concept, but to now bear the last drops of the same I have been aware of the because of my devotion to her. I have read many negative opinions about her, by the simplistic in its composition and its high price mostly. I agree only in part, since in my opinion it is a simplistic beauty raised to the maximum expression. It is an incredibly natural vanilla, unadulterated. Warm, creamy, with an extraordinary duration. It remains for me the vanilla.

  19. :

Beautiful fulll bodied gourmand vanilla. Luxurious scent that envelopes you completely.
Scent has great longevity and moderate sillage. The perfect sexy, yet cozy vanilla for winter and cooler weather.
Spritz the scent on your wrists and let some get on your sweater. Sip a hot coffee with cream and put your feet up on the couch. Time to read or watch some Netflix, all in the comfort of your home. I’d wear this scent at home, or out on a date with my husband. It’s a versatile and well blended vanilla.
The price is the only thing keeping me from rushing out to purchase. I’ll wait for a special occasion to purchase.

  20. :

    4 out of 5

Identical to Profumi di Firenze Vaniglia del Madagascar, which sells for a third of the price of Tihota.
Way overrated, simple vanillin over a white musk base. I am not saying it’s a bad perfume because it’s nice and sweet, just way hyped for what it is.

  21. :

    3 out of 5

Tihota exemplifies an immaculate balance between notes that is well nigh impossible to achieve. To consist of only two notes, yet be nuanced, is what’s so worderful about it. Vanilla and musk don’t compete: they are complements to one another.
It reminds me of Loukhoum by Kieko Mecheri, without the deluge of sweetness. I’m not crazy about vanilla in my fragrances. But I have to say Tihota is mystifying in its simplicity.
    A vanilla lovers delight!
I give it 9/10. Beautiful bottle. I found it on sale. Too pricey at original price!

  22. :

Rich vanilla, like elixir and extrait put together…hard for me as I am not a fan of those boozy vanilla scents,..it is expensive for what it is…I think you can find as good for less money..Now if you love vanilla that is a tad sirupy, you might enjoy it…as for me, it is too much of a vanilla overdose..

  23. :

    4 out of 5

This smells very similar to Love, Hope, Denim, and Serendipitous, and also Amour De Cacao. I like it, a lot, but it’s quite pricey, and for way less money there are other vanilla scents out there that would probably satisfy even the most ardent vanilla fiend (see above). Reminiscence Vanille also is lovely – to me, that is more of a true vanilla scent. That said, I’ve enjoyed my little sample of this very much – it’s a lovely, creamy vanilla, but then I do like the gourmandy type scents. The longevity is amazing: I could still smell this after ten hours, so I have to give it big props for that. I doubt I’d spring for a full bottle though – there is just not enough about this that is different enough from my other vanilla scents to justify spending that much money. At this stage at least 😉 But if you have a spare $200 kicking around and nothing better to spend it on, and you don’t have any good vanilla scents hanging out in your perfume wardrobe, I say go for it – you won’t be disappointed.

  24. :

    5 out of 5

Smells exactly like Palmers Cocoa butter. IMO it’s very boring and bland. It doesn’t smell bad, but if I wanted to smell like cocoa butter I can do that for much cheaper than $200. I have been very unimpressed with Indult altogether. Reve En Cuir is the most interesting fragrance they offer, but it has really poor performance…like I said unimpressed.

  25. :

Burnt sugar cane on creme brulee.
This is NOT vanilla and musk, this is sugar cane and mostly brown sugar on creme brulee, quite sugary and sweet (not cloying), gourmand in the 1st degree and could be simulating cotton candy.
Maybe it’s too much gourmand to my taste but i can’t deny that it is interesting.
Edit (26th Aug 2017) after a while i realized that it has cloves! no musk so far.

  26. :

This smells quite a bit like Madagascar Vanilla by Harvey Prince, but it is a bit more buttery and not quite as smokey. Seems to last about the same amount of time as Prince. If you love a baking quality vanilla, this is the best I have ever smelled, and also the most expensive.

  27. :

    5 out of 5

This is SO delicious either alone or layered. This is the best vanilla in a fragrance I’ve ever smelled, and it better be-for $200 a bottle! I need to go in with someone and buy it because this is what Valhalla must smell like. (well, that and patchouli 😉
Edit 8/26/17 I brought this to Vegas with me where it’s 105 during the day. This perfume lasted over 10 hours, and still staying strong!! Through all the crowds, sweat, heat and smoke surrounding me, this perfume stayed beautiful and strong all day and night!

  28. :

    5 out of 5

Tihota smells like VS Vanilla Lace. Except a much, much better version. It’s like comparing a classic perfume to one of the $10 no-name knockoffs sold in drugstores. They are still similar, but somehow one is a beauty while the other smells like it belongs in a high school locker room, know what I mean? If you want to get a mere idea of what Tihota smells like, try Vanilla Lace. Then imagine if Vanilla Lace was made carefully with only the finest ingredients and blended to perfection, AND had excellent strength and longevity. That’s more like Tihota. Yes, it is simple. And it is very expensive. But I don’t think I’ve ever smelled a better straightforward vanilla than this.

  29. :

    3 out of 5

NOPE! I don’t know how people are saying this doesn’t smell synthetic or plasticky! It smell like cheap vanilla body spray or a cheap vanilla candle from the dollar bin at a craft store after christmas. And the plastic smell!! it smells just like doll heads. I absolutely do not get the hype over this perfume when there are infinitely more rich and complex vanilla perfumes out there. In fact I am trying one today that is already way better. Insulo by Jeroboam. More complex, not as linear, still a beautiful sweet vanilla but the musk is kinda dirty in a good way.

  30. :

    3 out of 5

A mild, creamy, a bit custard like vanilla. Not particularly powdery, and I find the musk is only present in a way of prolonging the wear – other than that there is no musk to be afraid of. I would say this is 70% Bourbon vanilla extract and 30% vanilla custard. Other than that I don’t find this overly sugary at all, this is no Comptoir Sud Pacifique, but it’s absolutely on the sweet end of vanilla – unlike for example Vanille by Mona di Orio which is dry and raw. Tihota is unlikely to offend someone and it doesn’t excel as a unique vanilla, but it’s long lasting. It’s against my principles to pay this much for something this unremarkable, even though I love vanilla in its simplest form – I can get the same for a much lower price. Over and out!

  31. :

    5 out of 5

Slightly disappointed. I really liked Manakara so I assumed this one would be great too, but for me it was very boring. Not bad, just unremarkable. It smells like a caramel filled drumstick (ice cream bar).. Very sweet, very benign. Not my favorite vanilla. Too bad, because of the 8 samples I selected, this is the one I had the highest hopes for. After the preliminary sniff test, however, it ended up in the “save for later/not immediately interested” pile. Today I returned to it, and dabbed a few drops on one hand (without a different sample on the other like before), but unfortunately my initial impression has not changed. Still nothing special.

  32. :

    3 out of 5

This is a good, solid vanilla. It truly is. It’s creamy – milky, even – soft, cozy, and warm. Applied in moderation, it’s not too heavy or cloying. It’s like a vanilla soliflore, and done very well. If you are a lover of vanilla, at least give this one a try. It’s unlikely to blow your mind in terms of uniqueness, but it’s great as a perfume. Good sillage, longevity, and scent.
Note- this is also really excellent for layering! I’ve paired it with a few citrus scents and really enjoyed it.

  33. :

    4 out of 5

Well well…I finally got a couple samples of this lovely vanilla. Its quite beautiful! Very simply vanilla musk and thats it. Outremer vanille is pretty similar and is $20. If I was wealthy or if I had an extra $200 I might buy a fb..thats a big might..lol I havent tried enough vanillas to say whether or not this is the best vanilla around.
Edit: It IS the best Vanilla…there goes my $$$

  34. :

    5 out of 5

The best way for me to describe this is that the fragrance smells JUST like cotton candy flavor ice-cream, or just like those super hero ice-cream popsicle you get from the ice cream truck with the gumball eyes.

  35. :

    3 out of 5

Very high quality, it’s clear that the vanilla used in this really is the good stuff. Just a little nutty, touch of bourbon. Probably worth the price tag, if you seriously love sweet vanilla.
That said, I’d typically expect a high-quality niche juice to be a little drier than what I’d find at Victoria’s Secret. Not so here. I find it cloying to the point of being unwearable, even in cold weather. Smells just like those grocery store cupcakes with too much frosting, if those cupcakes were made with a bourbon-based vanilla extract from a specialty grocer. If that’s what you’re into, look no further.

  36. :

    5 out of 5

This is the ultimate vanilla dream. So soft and gorgeous. Notes are only vanilla and musk but it’s much more complex than that. It starts really soft and close to the skin in projection but as it warms up, you’ll be surrounded by the most beautiful, delicate, smoky, creamy vanilla cloud. It is so rich and dense. Vanilla lovers should really try this. I agree that there are cheaper vanilla perfumes similar to tihota. Examples are mazzolari vaniglia, outremer vanille and montale vanilla absolu. The difference between tihota and these scents are tihota has a very pure yet rich vanilla bean smell while these have a sugary caramelly vanilla smell. I have all of the above and love them all but I can’t deny that tihota is cut above the rest.

    La vaniglia perfetta

  38. :

    Scent – fluffy vanilla musk.
Season/Time of Day – I prefer to use this one in the colder months, day or night.
    Projection – I didn’t get noticed, I didn’t get a compliment.
    Longevity – I get 24hrs consistently.

  39. :

    5 out of 5

I am no vanilla expert but do like to sample as much as possible. Over the past few years I have sampled a few niche vanilla scents and I love them all but would never buy any due to the high cost. My Lolita L suits me well so I will stick with that. This does have a richer and boozy quality that I adore and makes it unisex IMO but once again at 4 bucks per ml I will pass. Performance is excellent as mentioned previously. Vanille 44 and Creed’s Sublime Vanilla are 2 other loves as well.

  40. :

    5 out of 5

So this was a blind buy for me. Following my love of Manakara, and the reviews, I thought surely it must be some amazing scent! Well I’m going to save someone some money here. It is a great vanilla scent, yes it is. Is it totally original and worth the price? Unfortunately no.
I have a few vanilla scents I can think of that pretty much match it. If you’re a vanilla fan, odds are you already do as well. Serendipity 3 Serendipitous is a good comparison.
Very nice, but much cheaper versions exist. Because I’ve already spent the money I will wear the crap out of it, thankfully I am a big fan of this style perfume. I will give it props for this though, the lasting power is amazing.

  41. :

I sprayed once in a boutique in Milan, it literally stayed on my skin all day. No need to mention that it is linear but this is not the vanilla I look for. Me and wife agreed that I smelled like pumpkin dessert that day.
Ofcourse I imagined it on her and still didn’t find it nice, too.

  42. :

    4 out of 5

First on the skin, Christmas sugar cookies, butter and all! Of course very sweet, but not cloying. It does last all day and settles into a soft vanilla. Not my fav, but very wearable and would offend no one.

  43. :

    3 out of 5

Simply put, I love it! It is a strong but not overpowering foodie vanilla that is not too sweet. I keep catching intoxicating whiffs that make me inhale again. I’m going to end up hyperventilating; lol! It’s very unique; much less sugary and more nutty than any other vanilla I’ve smelled, yet it still seems familiar and comforting. Maybe like a vanilla nut shortbread cookie. I would describe it as a more mature and complex vanilla bean noel.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

Woah this thing lasted a solid 12 hours on my skin without losing any potency. From 9am to 11pm at night I was enveloped in the sweetest and softest vanilla cookie cloud. It eventually faded as I slept and was gone in the morning.
The scent is so simple and I didn’t find it developed from first spray, it mostly just calmed down a little and once it did it stayed and stayed. There’s nothing else I need from a vanilla. It’s softly sweet, cuddly and still sexy. There are many other vanilla fragrances that mixed with other ingredients, make just as lovely a perfume, but this one doesn’t need anything else to it. It’s a beauty of a simple vanilla all on its own.
As others said – THIS is the perfect vanilla. Holy moly.

  45. :

    4 out of 5

I honestly don’t understand how people can compare this to Serge Luten’s Un Bois Vanille, Vaniglia del Madagascar and Montale’s Vanille Absolu. I own all of these amazing fragrances and Tihota doesn’t get any closer to any of them. Tihota is something different, precious. It’s like heaven in a bottle. It’s an expensive combination of the most precious vanilla and musk and you only need two sprays cause it lasts and lasts. I agree on its similarity with Victoria’s Secret’s Vanilla Lace beeing Vanilla Lace the cheaper and more synthetic / alcoholic version of Tihota. I layer my Tihota with Vanilla Lace Body Lotion. Beeing a vanilla fanatic I can honestly confirm this is the best Vanilla on the planet. It smells like nothing else. I am so glad I finally found my perfect Vanilla.

  46. :

    3 out of 5

Even as a vanilla lover, I never prioritized sampling this as it was hard to imagine a plain, no nonsense vanilla – no fruit, no flowers, no spice, no added sugar – could be satisfying in and of itself. Oh, what I’ve been missing! It’s simple, but never boring. It’s creamy soft like flower petals, dryly, but not artificially sweet. It’s just perfect and I can’t stop sniffing my skin where this golden juice has touched it.
    I’m in so much trouble.

  47. :

    3 out of 5

    I’ll keep this brief:
->One of the strongest, richest vanillas I’ve smelled. Simple sugared vanilla extract goodness. It lasts & projects wonderfully. You will most likely get compliments.
->It does resemble a (good) vanilla candle further into the drydown.
->To me, the price is crazy for something so linear and basic. Can only see those buying a FB who ADORE all vanillas and want to carry the smell of a comforting ‘nila candle or cake with them through the whole day. Personally I wanted SOME sort of development for the high niche price range!

  48. :

    5 out of 5

    It is vanilla.
It is balanced, clean, fresh and natural. Not seen anything synthetic in contrast to many other fragrances of vanilla. It is round, is perceived as a halo of tenderness nothing invasive.
I identify a lot with this scent, my forever.

  49. :

    5 out of 5

This truly is one of the best vanillas out there! No kidding!
When I finally received my tiny sample (3 ml) of Tihota I kept it in my purse. You know, it was so tiny and precious that I kinda wanted to keep it near me at all times.
One day while I was at work and it was particularly boring, I thought that a little “pick me up” of Tihota would do me good. So I “accidentally” sprayed some Tihota on my wrist (1 spray) and kept on typing on my computer in my little office, with the door half open to the hallway. NOW, this is when the magic happened:
One by one, people’s heads started popping into my office asking what that gorgeous, heavenly vanilla candle-cake-ice cream scent was! Even the janitor came walking towards our hallway, sniffing his way to find out where the scent came from asking: “is that a candle? What is it? Smells of vanilla… aaaah! Lovely!” But the funniest that day was when a colleague stepped into my office while I was on the phone and once she realized I couldn’t speak to her, she began to mime and gesticulate how delicious the smell was!
I was overwhelmed by all this attention, and even though I’m always receptive to compliments on my scents, I wasn’t prepared for all the fuss (especially at work) so I wouldn’t recommend wearing Tihota in a place where you want to be unnoticed, because people will literally follow your scent trail as if they were hypnotized. THAT’s what Tihota will do to you! haha!
Now, to the scent! It reminds me a lot of Profumum Romas Vanitas, except that Tihota is cleaner somehow, more pure vanilla and a little less sweet. It smells like the truest kind of high quality vanilla (ice cream) with a hint of musk, which keeps it from being too young/girly. A sophisticated vanilla! Worth the money, you’ll have your bottle forever judging by the projection of the one spray. Like Bloodlust wrote below: it really IS nuclear!

  50. :

Tihota is a beautiful vanilla that does not possess dark qualities at all. It is not too sweet also. However…maybe not for me. There is no edge or attitude of any kind…Would suit an angelic being…someone serene and princesse-like.
Update: I tested several vanilla perfumes and got a little tired of them trying to be fancier and fancier. So now I feel I return to Tihota which is incredibly beautiful. Lots of kitchen vanilla. Light. Perfect. Does not pretend to be anything else but vanilla. I think I will buy a full bottle :).

Vanilla bomb for sure. And almost completely just that. Ive been this compared to many other fragrances here looking at reviews. The one I will agree with that ive seen a bit is Montales vanille absolu. However unlike that, this has no potential nostril burning snythetic power to it. Nor does it have that woodys aspect that can create a sorta chocolateish smell.
When ive tried this to my mind I actually thought of scents like dulcis in fundo and sublime vanille. 2 pretty “simple” in terms of notes scents. They both remind me a bit of this in their own way.
I think if you hate either 2 of those scents because of how simple they are then there is absolutely no reason to check this out because this is even less complex than those 2.
This really to me is almost completely just a vanilla candle(a good smelling one though for sure). And ever so often at times ive gotten a sorta sugar cookie wiff of sorts. Which honestly I do not like cookies but meh for what its worth at times ive gotten it.
I think the problem with this fragrance would be do you really want to pay $250 for a fragrance that smells so… simple and boring? Saying that though, the other side I think would be, who thinks of fragrances as being simple or boring besides people who are into fragrances in general or collect? Its not a common comment, or thought when smelling others. Then again…. whos going to pay $250 dollars for a fragrance besides those who collect or are really into fragrances.
Whatever the case, I liked it. Good performance for what ive put on, smell nice, its rich its thick. And if you like vanilla its a very classic vanilla in a simple and enjoyable way. If you dont like vanilla bombs or simple scents no reason to even sample, because theres nothing minutely interesting going on here imo however.

I applied my indult and went out to a local shop.insaid to the owner i’l be back in a minuit just nip in to the post office.on my return she exclaimed i dont understand it i can smell freshly baked cake just a bit overdone.where is it coming from.im haunted.nobody can bake fresh cake around here.i looked at her and the penny droped.my beautifull tihota.i told her its my perfume.she was amazed.i promised to bring the bottle in so she can try it.that was at 09.00 and its 22.00 over 13hrs and its still going strong.the note has stayed the same rich dark musky vanille but the funny thing is it dissapeared for s few hrs and came back.i think she was insulted because i tested a new perfume out and sprayed it on her.she’s royalty and wont associatd with anything scent below her.i know people use her to layer but i cant see her tolerate that.she is lovely worth more than i paid cos she’s one of a kind ,royalty.

    Wow. Just.. Wow.
I put a dab of this on my wrist to do a test, but discovered I was running late and had to bundle up in my huge coat with gloves and all. It projected like crazy through my sweater, glove and coat sleeve. In -15*C. That’s some serious sillage.
It’s vanilla alright. Vanilla in caps lock mode. It doesn’t develop much, but I can’t get past the “VANILLA! LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME I AM VANILLA INCARNATE!” note blasting away to discern any musk.
It’s so sweet it makes my teeth hurt, while still being somehow dry. It smells precisely, and I mean Identical In Every Possible Way to the vanilla essence I have in my cupboard. I suppose this means my vanilla essence is good quality then? If I change my mind and decide I want to smell like a pastry I’ll just dab some of that behind my ears.
TL;DR: Extremely authentic vanilla as far as I can tell, not much development. And I suddenly have an intense need to make a batch of cupcakes.

I used to buy this rich vanilla cream from VS – Vanilla Lace and that is what is reminds me off. I find no alcohol in this , just rich, expensive musky vanilla. On my skin it just is very sweet vanilla with no room for much musk. Sillage is great with a great staying power.

A beautiful solonote vanilla with heavy sillage as far as I can tell – another great recommendation from my fellow fragranticans.

    Fine, transparent, pure, realistic vanilla.
Not too sweet and cloying as many other gourmand fragrances tend to be. I like it for it’s simplicity. It feels like warm vanilla aura, a scent. This one is definitely going on my “To buy” list.

Mmmm, this one is POSITIVELY DELICIOUS! Fit for any vanilla fanatic.
It’s simple, but done well! There are two notes listed, vanilla & musk – and that’s what you get: A rather musky vanilla (bean). The vanilla is less sweet, and more on the deep side – rich and gorgeous, leaning almost towards a caramel feel. It has a dry, chewy texture to it, so there is no toothache encounter here! Sometimes I feel like there’s almost a slight nuttiness to this scent.
Important note here on the projection & longevity of this scent – PHENOMENAL / NUCLEAR. This is one of those scents where people will smell you when you enter the room – In a good way. It turns your life into a cheesy musical, but instead of people popping out of sewer drains and corner stores to sing dorky lyrics with you, they’re sniffing the air and wondering what smells like cookies. For 12+ hours.
Is this worth 200 bucks for a 50ml bottle? Yes. If you’ve got the money, you won’t be disappointed as a solid go-to, cozy fragrance. I was not surprised that Francis Kurkdjian was the nose behind this one – it’s his signature of simple, outstanding luxury. I made the FB investment, and I haven’t looked back since! No regrets to be had; I could sing the praises for this scent until the end of time! Next to my signature, it is easily my favorite fragrance. The amount of compliments you will draw wearing this… is astonishing.

Tihota was one of the first samples I purchased from Luckyscent. I was recommend it as the Holy Grail (costs as much too) of Vanilla since I love the note so much. On first application I get a wonderfully creamy vanilla musk. Almost like vanilla ice-cream. It’s warm, simple, mature, light and kind. You can tell that these are high quality ingredients and I don’t get any alcoholic/chemical aspects from this.
I was initially disappointed when I first tried this because I’d hyped it up too much and was expecting it to b
