This is my first try from Library of Flowers and it’s a rather masculine feeling scent. Crisp and cool like an early morning in the woods. It definitely reminds me of standing among the trees, so The Forest is correctly named. This would smell terrific on a man. Very refreshing, perfect for hot weather.

I agree that this smells like pure sage; there is hardly any of the woodiness I was expecting. Smells like a men’s aftershave and too masculine. Would not call this unisex at all. Sillage is moderate but only lasts 2-3 hours on my skin.

This is a rather masculine fragrance that I find is very easy to wear any time of the year. I get a bit of vetiver in the dry-down, which I quite like. It’s clean and appealing, but not especially nuanced; nor is it very long-lasting. I’m enjoying my bottle but would not replace it when it’s gone.

I have the parfum crema version of this scent and it is gorgeous!! I agree that there is a similarity to Juniper Gin but they are sufficiently different that I do not feel that I have purchased a duplicate scent. Once the crema warms with my skin the scent blooms into a sharper and more brisk forest scent – just like a refreshing walk in the woods!!!
I’m in love! I haven’t tested it enough to talk about longevity. But I think that I like this crema formula, it is stronger than many perfume oils on me and it makes my skin feel soft and smooth, like putting on lotion.

I was really excited to try this fragrance, but it just smells like men’s aftershave on me. I don’t get anything other than the sage, which is nice, but I don’t think sage = forest.

I like The Forest. Or perhaps I should say I’d like it on my husband (if he wasn’t glued to his favorite cologne already). This smells like hiking in the Maine woods. Pine sap, sage, moss, and dirt. Similar to Love & Toast’s Juniper Gin, but a little more woodsy and dirty, and it doesn’t last as long. It’s fair to call this a unisex scent, but I feel like it leans a little more to the masculine side.
