Its a strong like for me although it has some edges that challenge me. I probably like it because and not despite those edges. It seems a few things are in constant battle with eachother. Sage is there, a subtle vetiver too. Its herbal but the leather tries to take over at the end and doesnt get it done. I am always like waiting for this battle to end but it doesnt. This thing just doesnt really sattle. Its an interesting scent.

Lovely scent
Reminds me of D&G Velvet Cypress, but lighter since this is an EdT

Fresh is the word for it, together with “open”, if you would.
I’ve received it 3 days ago instead of Atkinsons’ excellent Odd Fellow Bouquet that I ordered. I decided to give it a try before sending it back, and glad I did.
First I sprayed it on paper to test, as I usually do. I liked it opening and drydown as well. The leather in it is one of the softest and most pleasant leathery smells I ever try. Just like spices – they clearly and obviously there, but very soft and not intrusive or heavy. And the same goes to vetiver as well. I guess it what people calling here well blended? I thought it would be great spring/summer perfume, but despite having unusually cold for NYC winter day I decided to use it next day when I went to work.
It end up collecting probably more compliments in 1 day than any other perfume I ever used, and from most diverse people. First very old lady on train told “Somebody here have full bucket of fresh!” while still being 6 ft away from me. When she sat across me, I asked if it was open. She looked puzzled, and asked what was open. After I told “the bucket”, she told “Yes, definitely open and very nice!”. Hour later lady in her 40s called me back after passing me on train station and asked what scent I been wearing. Later my co-worker in her 20s told “You just have all the best colognes in the world, don’t you!”, and my male co-worker called me “show-off!” reacting to her comment. In the end of day my boss told sarcastically “I wish your performance today was as impressive as your perfume”. All together I had about 10 compliments that day.
I found it a bit strange, because my first impression been that it would be almost exclusively close to skin and barely perceivable by others type of scent. At least in cold weather it isn’t! I would need to update my review when I try it in Summer, so far I’ll put it in winter/spring/fall category.
Another pleasant surprise was longevity. On my skin it lasted at least 14 hours, from spraying in the morning all the way I went to bed. Test spray on paper lasted for over 24 hours!
Final verdict:
Scent 9/10
Longevity 9/10
Silage 8/10
Projection 9/10
Originality 7/10
Price to quality 8/10
I’m definitely not sending it back, and buying it again when it runs out!

Very well done scent – herbal, aromatic and fresh at the start soon adding a depth with smokyness and general darkness. Never loosing the aromatic nuances and always going back to fresh/smoky vetiver.
Lasted more than 12 hours and was lovely all way trough – unique and interesting, completely unisex.
A nice treat, worth a try!

I love the fresh opening of this one, and then the leather dry down. The leather isn’t prominent in this one compared to some, but you notice it. It lasted a long time on my skin. I even went into a chlorine hot tub and I could still smell it on my arm when I got out. Which is strange because it doesn’t smell like such a strong scent, but surprisingly it lasted a long time on my skin.
