I like the original Woman III, which smells just a little bit more patchouli-moisture, natural and colorful. But they are almost identical!
Just like the new Magie Noire – this new version is drier and more modern, with very lightl veil of floral powder.
Kind of pastel version. But surprisingly, it lasts much longer, and also the sillage is way better.
On my skin they are both amiable woody, dry and warm chypre, similar style as Paloma Picasso, but much less racy and animal. Dried wood instead of leather.
Likened to the character of both ladies-authors (and indeed also the flacons) – Paloma is the essence of wild temperament and mysterious sensuality, and Jil Sander can make feminine elegance with refined simplicity, that blows you away.

This is too harsh and loud for me. I don’t find it very feminin. It’s clearly an 80s scent in the direction of Giorgio Beverly Hills etc

Very natural slight leather and chypre, very modern and well balanced. Could be day or evening perfume.I love it for being completely outside the today’s market of millions of strange strong smells.

Oh, my Lord in Heaven! Please let this be the real thing. This was my favorite all time soft leather chypre!
