So many times L’Occitane knows exactly how to nail the natural essence for a fragrance and they did not fail with The Blanc. I adore Bvlgari’s White Tea as well but The Blanc is richer, spicier and very long lasting. Classy and assertive…unisex so both genders can enjoy its unique and bracing white tea aroma.

Lovely sharp, fresh tea opening. The drydown is where the magic happens, you are left with a spicy, mossy gorgeous deep scent. Not heavy, just a different smell to the first spray. Delicious for hot weather and because of the spices can be worn in cooler weather too I should imagine. I am impressed again by L’Occitane. It seems their older and discontinued items, like The Body Shop, are the ones I love and enjoy.

First, this is about as unisex as I can imagine. Second, it is technically sound (that is, reasonably natural smelling, with good longevity and projection). Third, I’ve been seeking a tea scent for a long time now, and I’ve tried several. It seems like they fall into one of two categories: they are either too tea-like, but that usually doesn’t last long in any case, or the tea note is too weak. That’s not the case here, as the tea is front and center, staying there for a long time. However, the supporting notes provide wonderful dynamism, and are given enough strength so that the literalness of the tea never gets irritating.
I’m really shocked at how good this scent is. While I think that L’Occitane’s original Vetyver is a solid scent, I haven’t been all that impressed with the others I’ve sampled, and the bases are often rather mundane, at best. Apparently, this scent is now very hard to find, but if you come across it somewhere for any kind of reasonable price I suggest grabbing it quickly, unless you don’t like tea notes.

While sprayed at first, it has mainly citrus, apple and tea on me. It has some tartness and bitterness while still remains tender. Then the bitterness goes away and leaves a lovely tea accompanied with citrus. It’s unisex, inoffensive, and I think it works the best on a sunny day in spring and summer. The sillage is close and it turns quickly into a body scent. It also has a soft sugar sweetness (not creamy) among tea at this stage. It’s a fresh fragrance for a day when you don’t have a certain mood for “perfume”.

Wear anytime or place. Very sexy.

I use to wear this perfume a couple of years ago, I got it on spring, and i just loved it♥
On that time, was my number one and favourite fragrance for that spring and summer. Clean, but different, light and persistent at the same time…
On my skin the drydown was very clean and fresh, lasts very very much, and the carnation note was the “thing” that seduced me about this sunny, fresh and splendorous fragrance.
It’s a shame that it’s discontinued…
Good summer memories 🙂

A very fresh, clean tea with a hint of orange spice..only a hint. Apple gives it a little fresh tartness. It’s very nice scent and I think I’d prefer this on a man although it is easily unisex. Very similar to other “blancs” and “verts”. I like it but not quite feminine enough for me I think. I’d rather smell it on a man. And, it could be strong if oversprayed. Very nice daily fragrance.

I would recommend this as a daily wear perfume. Its light and clean, very non intrusive. Definitely one I want in my collection.
