This is a very nice unisex patchouli based scent suitable for fall, winter and spring, day and night. There is no oud here and there’s nothing animalic to the blend. It’s straight up woody/dusty patchouli.
Dominant notes are very strong patchouli, strong dusty sandalwood (this is not good for my nose), saffron, mild amber and violet.
Than White feels close to Nobile 1942 Patchouli Nobile which I own and love but the dusty note in it, makes it raw, harsh compared to 1942 Patchouli.
Performance is very good. Long lasting scent with moderate sillage.

Castoreum & oud confusion.
This is the first time i get confused about wither the note in here is oud or castoreum! it is blended quite well that it whiffs between real oud and castoreum as i do sniff hints of animalic, and to be clear, oud in general is never animalic so there is costereum in here and i am quite sure. The patchouli is more dominant than the amber, & the vanilla and the tonka aren’t that big in here, they just softens the harshness of the oud castoreum blend.
This is typically an oud, in short a REAL oud and never commercial nor synthetic. Impressive
