This does not have great performance but the smell is really nice. A summer only scent and has the best scent of the 3 Thallium scents but performance is an issues

This fragrance is pure garbage. It’s a sickly sweet watery scent with the most mild amount of fruity/citrus in the opening. It’s hollow and empty in 5 minutes on your skin. It simply sucks, horrendously. Please do yourself a favor and buy any Hilfiger, Nautica, any Tommy Bahama, or any Davidoff cool water flanker. Please do not get anywhere near this stuff.

I love regular Thallium. I like Thallium Black. I like Thallium Sport too, but its a lot shorter relationship than the other two Thallium offerings due to the terrible performance. One way to look at it is that it is so cheap that you can decant and reapply continually (which is what I’m doing). Now, I will say that I don’t ever get the monster performances that other folks get with most frags, but I would expect a little better performance than what I’m getting. Hot as hell high humidity can’t explain away all the performance problems for TS. If I find cool weather performance that is superior, I’ll update my review.

I LOVE the original Thallium so thought I’d take a shot on this flanker but was disappointed. I get a huge citrus blast that is very sharp to my nose. I didn’t find it smooth at all just very brash and cloying and I just sprayed on my wrists as sort of a test run. So I can’t imagine the headache I’d get if I really sprayed this one on my chest or any where else.
I didn’t get much else from it except the sharp citrus. I’ve smelled Chanel Allure Homme Sport, and I didn’t get any similarities from this on my skin, as others have mentioned. I’ll stick with the original Thallium.

Thallium Sport is an oil filter wrench. It says that it is a limited edition but I bought mine years ago and it still seems readily available. And to be frank about it or even bob or joe, I dont think one would feel the world ended if one were to miss out and never own it.
I own several of the Thalliums but this is the one that I currently wear. My bottle is about half empty and in the spring and summer I wear it a handful of times per season.
To my nose, there is nothing about Thallium to compare it to any of the Allure Hommes. I would give zero credence to thoughts of finding a cheap Allure Homme. The opening is synthetic and below average though not offensive and it lasts between 10 and 20 minutes. The heart is good and the dry down below par mostly because it fades fast.
Maybe you have watched or read a hundred reviews about how this fragrance or that is good for formal occasions and going to the symphony or the theater. They all should. A fragrance is designed to help you smell better. But where are the reviews about a fragrance that is perfect for shooting some grease into some zerks?
I will be honest with you fine folks. I go to more opera’s, symphonies, ballets, live performances, and theater than any person that I know in my circle of acquaint; and yet a single bottle of Jeffrey Dame would be all that I would need for what would most likely be the entirety of such occasions for the next couple years. But somehow my naughty little socks seem to like to play hide and seek and I spend more time hunting, washing, drying, and folding stinky socks, rank drawers and other needs of the launder than I do going to the Opera. I dont need or really even much want to be wearing “niche” when Ive got that dryer sheet smell going on and Im putting shirts on hangers. If I put on a few squirts of fragrance every time I fussed with laundry then Id drain that scent rabbit in a month. Id be perfectly happy wearing TS to see Carmen but Id probably pick others for that and save TS for important things like running the leaf blower.
Thallium sport gets a grade of 72. Once you get past the opening the heart has a decent blend and smell and I could point to many other fraggies that get loads of love in the community that do not really have an improved mid over Thallium Sport. Sillage is ok and not noteworthy enough to add or detract from the rating. Performance is 3.5 hours to 5 as a skin scent. I usually like 6 hours from designer but it says sport right on the label and you pretty much know that you are going to get a more relaxed fragrance with lower sillage, shorter performance, and lighter nature. So being a sport scent, I cant really dock it for only living 4 hours. And of course we get to price. This is easily findable and purchasable for $15 for a 100 ml bottle which is $5 an ounce. I consider $20 an ounce my standard reference point so this is quite the bargain and therefore gets bonus brownie points for price.
This is a good fragrance for the person that walks to school or drives to work and wants a sensible mid that will smell nice, and not bother anybody to arrive about when they do. It seems to be a daytime scent that works better in sun and it holds some sweat and perspiration and helps one through the day. Its ok at night but just seems at its best to be an early morning and daytime critter.
Thallium used to get love in the youtube community with Coach Rob and a few others trying to hype it up as a lady killer. It does alright but maybe those guys missed the mark of where it should live. These days people roll their r’s when they say sporrrrrrt and pretend that it sounds French and those guys just cant see past Chanel or Dior when they aren’t in limos and the words “take out the trash” start wafting to the ear.
Really this is a fragrance for truck drivers, and doing laundry, and working in dirty warehouses, and delivering mail, or a thousand other things that most people would surely miss more than Opera should loss happen. You just do not often hear in fragrance reviews that this fragrance or that is nice to wear when you mop the floor. This review started by stating that Thallium Sport is a oil filter wrench and sometimes you just want to change your own oil and pull a sample and send it to Blackstone Labs to see how your engine is doing. You get done, you wash it off, and then you move along in your day. Thallium sport is a working scent. Its not epic but it does smell good and its $5 an ounce and its hard to see the need to wear Creed when you are greasing zerks. Lubrication is necessary and you never know how much you miss that oil filter wrench till you get halfway through an oil change and cant get the filter off without it. Sometimes its the little things that get you life and add small pleasures or unnoticed dividends in it. Sometimes, its hard to see the value of things until the wrench goes missing, the filter falls off, and the engine doth seize. Its good to tighten things properly when needed and smell nice in the effort.

A pretty nice sport scent is all I can really describe it as. Nothing fancy but not in an insulting way. Just like it’s name suggests I can only see myself wearing this with casual/sporty outfits.I really like the blast of citrus as you first spray it on your skin. Then it mellows out into more of a smooth scent. Everyone says this has poor longevity, but I think it’s OKAY although I do own some top performers in that category. Overall a good scent that I would recommend to anyone.

Thallium Sport is definitely a good clone of Chanel’s Allure Homme Sport. If this wasn’t true, I wouldn’t waste my time writing this…
Thallium isn’t quite as deep as AHS is though. It relies more on the top notes, and doesn’t do the fresh peppery blend as well as AHS. To me, it pushes the lemon note too much to the top, as it is most noticeable in the scent. It’s also slightly synthetic, but only slightly…
I doubt anyone would expect it to last as long as a Chanel frag, but it does hold it’s own and will last an average of 4 hours.
Again, I feel confident in saying that if you don’t want to buy AHS at $90/ bottle, this inexpensive Thallium clone will probably satisfy you as a substitute unless you’re fairly picky.

Blind buy and very happy with the quality and price, nothing synthetic about it its very clean fresh lemon and pepper, downfall is doesn’t last long i get 4 hours then becomes very subtle. Next is Thallium Black!

This was almost an obscure bargain gem for me, but there’s a single spice note which ruins it; I’m not sure what it is and though it’s very subtle, I just can’t get over it. The pepper is too strong maybe — Chanel Egoiste Platinum gives me the same vibe (no I’m not saying they smell the same). Maybe it just isn’t for my skin because it’s more tolerable on my cotton shirt. A lot of people will like this one though, don’t be afraid of the low price.

Thallium Sport is a pleasant scent and low cost. Versatility is good, or can be used in cold or heat. The forecast is low, however those who are near will smell you. The longevity is about 4 hours in my skin. This perfume may remember a little Allure Homme Sport Chanel. The mine was a blind purchase and I am satisfied. The price is worth trying. Thumbs up.
