It’s great if you want to smell like a couch. It smells SO good in the beginning but that leather note takes over and turns it ‘dirty’ in a sense, and not the way I enjoy. It might be one that just takes time to get used to but we’ll see.

At a first sniff I thought “oh yes! the freshness, the sparkliness! I love it!” But with a longer wear it began to feel sharp, linear and annoying. Decided to return it.

This is ok. Its suede & floral. Its very light & doesnt last. Its different then anything they have put out before but its still pretty boring. I doubt i’ll finish this & probably give it to a family member. There is nothing in the scent I dislike its just nothing stand out about it. That along with the bad longevity & sillage makes it a no for me.

Ok.. I’m a VS perfume fan. I’ve established that in past reviews. This perfume is wearable, it’s nice, it smells good, but there’s nothing rebellious about it. It’s mainly clean, powdery violet. It smells very much like any other past VS perfume that used Violet as a note. If you’re looking for daring, don’t look for that here.. if you want just plain nice, you’ve found it. I’m not blown away… the Love perfume is my favorite of their most recent offerings. I highly recommend that one!

I’m not a lover of violets since it tends to turn fragrances far too powdery for my liking, but I was curious about this so I took the plunge and bought the small body mist. On first spray, this reminds me so much of the original Balenciaga and I was transported to the first time I smelled that one in a magazine strip. I know it’s the violets in Tease Rebel causing that flashback, but something about the leather reminds me of Balenciaga’s woodiness and I find both scents straddle the unisex line quite nicely. Tease Rebel feels like the perfect office fragrance for when you want to smell fresh, clean and a touch sexy, but aren’t in the mood for the usual light, girly ‘pink’ sugary scents.

As much as I didn’t want to like this (because tbh I hate the graffiti bottle) I do like it. It’s just really fun, fresh, and yet a little sexy. When I first apply it I most definitely smell fresh florals like the violet with an undertone of light leather. The leather note in this isn’t intense at all which I prefer because if it was I might find it to be a bit overwhelming w/ the violet as leather notes tend to give me headaches and this doesn’t. Generally speaking I wouldn’t get something like this normally… but like most VS fragrances they aren’t offensive and most people like them. I love how fun and different the fragrance it’s self is. Don’t care for that bottle though so I only got the rollerball.

This fragrance is a no go. It smells like heady violets and tea. If you don’t like violets then it’s not for you. Smells terrible and plastic

It is indeed a “Rebel” alright, as it does not remind me of the original Tease at all. It however for a very short moment does remind me a slight resemblance of Bombshell, but not by much. I got double violet scents, as the flower and the leaves did stand out prominently and very fresh, very pretty. They are not harsh, nor too green at all. They tend to lean toward the sweet side. There was NO “leather” note whatsoever that I could detect from the opening, but it did appear later, also with a little hint of rose blended in the end smoothly with the violets.
I’m not so crazy about it, nor love it like I do with the original Tease, but I do like it a lot and would get a bottle. Sillage and longevity are NOT weak by any mean. I’m pleased with Tease Rebel’s quality and performance. Overall it is slightly different than what this house usually presents. Tease Rebel is not outstanding, BUT it is FRESH, youthful, feminine, simple, inoffensive, very pleasant, very wearable, if not very enjoyable to some.

What is white leather? Is it changed from brown leather by a procedure? Or is it just a type of suede ?
