Description
The X-Ray line of perfumes created by Ray Burns and inspired by the key locations and moments of his life extends with another release—a new perfume called Tantrum which comes out in April 2013. Tantrum belongs to the Precious Metals Collection (there is also the Lacquer Collection; perfumes are sorted in the collections by the materials of their stoppers), inspired by the destination of sunny Saint Tropez beaches.
The perfume, announced as a luxurious floral and made of high-quality ingredients, starts off with fresh burst of Tunisian neroli, Italian bergamot and violet leaf. Its exotic heart consists of orange blossom, Indian tuberose and Turkish rose. The heart gently turns into the warm and a sexy base of tolu balsam, moss and Indonesian patchouli.
Ray Burns explains: “To me, the women on the beaches of St. Tropez epitomize glamour, and are some of the most beautiful anywhere in the world. That captivating scent of suntan oil mixed with exotic floral fragrances always stands out in my mind, and encapsulates everything I love about the locale. I wanted to create a fragrance inspired by those memories, that whisks the wearer away on the ultimate holiday in the South of France.”
The blown-glass bottle is decorated with a stopper made of shiny copper. The fragrance is available as 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

Great finesse, absolutely feminine, no doubt about it, I can’t imagine a man wearing this. It reminds me of “McQueen”, but it is a litlle drier and discreter.
Suble elegant silage, longevity already 5-6 hours. Probably the finest tuberose based scent I have smelled so far.
