First to review? Well we say in Greece that Luck helps those who dare, and this was a complete blind buy. I do trust though the magnificent brand of Ajmal, with good reason!! I can’t find words to describe this scent, it brings to mind one of my favourite songs, ‘ Walk from Agadir’ (for those weak in Geography Agadir is a town in Morocco..). And it is like walking by the sea in an North African town in the morning, with the air full of the smell of mature fruit and spices from the nearby markets, the breeze slightly enhancing the aroma emanating from the rose gardens but without cooling the relaxing warmth from the sun, bare feet leaving their delicate trace in the wet sand,a feeling of happiness and pleasure overwhelming all sensations… This is what this utterly beautiful concoction brings to mind. It is spicy, but not overbearing, sweet thanks to a fabulous note of Amber and delicately light but persistent. The spice and Amber are big players at first but after a while the soft, aromatic rose comes through and creamy wood, sensational! I detect some bergamot, it adds a slight freshness, perfect for summer! Very long lasting and good sillage, this is a gem with the woody, alluring signature of Ajmal. Also the bottle is amazingly Oriental. If the notes agree with you, you must absolutely try it.
