I LOVE this! ..and just ordered the 100ml FB, which should arrive in a few days. I do get the beautiful, soft, slightly sweet pipe tobacco in the opening, which doesn’t last very long on me.. maybe 30 mins or a wee bit longer. However, what remains is this wonderful just-showered freshness described by the other reviewers here. This reminds me of the scent of the men in my family–my father, uncles, and grandfather–from my childhood in the 60s (and many years after), and which conjures up an image of an elegant, distinguished, sophisticated, clean-cut, and well-groomed man. I love wearing it, though (I’m female), probably also because of the memories it evokes, and will say that this is a unisex fragrance. I can’t stop inhaling my arms, and am excited for my parents (both now 80 y/o) to smell it on me! It still smells like I’ve just stepped out of the shower even five or six hours later, and that’s saying a lot considering I live in a hot & humid tropical country (and in the city, too). I’m wondering how this can last longer on me than on some of the other reviewers here. I’m just assuming, of course, that the other reviewers here are from milder climes. Maybe it performs better in our tropical weather, which probably somewhat resembles that of Valladolid, Mexico where this fragrance originates? Incidentally, I asked for my second son’s opinion of Tabaco when I was sampling it a couple weeks ago (he’s 23), and he said, “it smells like Papa!” (It’s what my kids call my dad.) That’s a stamp of approval, btw.
To @grug.. If you are still looking for a retailer of Tabaco, and are able to order from a US online shop, I bought mine from luckyscent.com, who also has two brick & mortar shops in the LA area. At this time, they sell it for $90 + 9.5% sales tax.

This opens up somewhat fruity… some kind of berry. not robust but you definitely end up smelling your wrist a number of times before you’re like “wait, is this coqui coqui tabaco?” the tobacco comes through after a few minutes, but its the most unique tobacco scent ive ever smelled in a fragrance. it’s very light, very watery. there is no harshness in it whatsoever. i close my eyes and instead of tobacco, its so watery i almost smell… a shower. either a fresh rain shower or an uber clean bathroom shower with the most subtle of soaps. deep inhales give me kind of a violet and cedar accord. its very subtle. its relaxing and refreshing.
overall, this scent is extremely low key and i think its meant to make the wearer wonder and enjoy it more than make the people around you smell something.
that being said, its very soft and i can barely smell it if im not actively sniffing it. basically no sillage and longevity is poor. if this projected and lasted a bit longer (or a lot longer) its instant full bottle worthy. This is an eau de cologne though afterall… if only they had an edp version.

Like the other reviews have mentioned, this is a light and fresh sweet tobacco – lightly cured leaves, giving it some spice, but perhaps also some smooth and sweet tobacco blossom. It’s hard to pick, but whatever it is, it’s amazing and without a doubt the best tobacco fragrance I’ve encountered. It’s also my biggest fragrance related regret – when I visited the boutique in Valladolid a few years ago I only walked out with a small 15ml bottle rather than the 90ml. Now, on the other side of the world, I’m trying to find a retailer either locally or online who stocks this, but no luck. If anyone knows of something similar, I’m all ears!

Finally got my hands on a 10ml sample of this.
WOW! It’s very fresh for what i was expecting. I would say it’s soapy/clean, definitely masculine and there’s no way tobacco is the only note here. Absolutely no way. What little tobacco i do notice, is like that of unsmoked, uncured and not fully dried leaves.
It reminds me of the smell of a “sporty” soap, like a guy having showered at the gym and gone
straight to the local cigar shop for some fresh hand-rolled’s. This cologne is the scent of that guy, inside that store, captured and concentrated.
Performance is good, sillage is pleasant and it’s not a screeching scent but it does have a crispness to it, at least for me.

Agree that it’s not a thick, syrupy sweet pipe tobacco! This tobacco is sheer, soft, and fresh. It smells like fresh linen next to an open window by the shore, with a breeze catching the scent of a dry tobacco leaf from an unsmoked cigar. Very, very nice. My one qualm with this scent is that it’s quite oily and doesn’t have much staying power as a result. I’m a woman and I feel that it’s unisex.
EDIT: Revising to let ya’ll know that JEDI is right, the tobacco isn’t dry, it’s wet and in the middle of curing. I want to encourage everyone to try this but I also want to keep it all for myself =’]

Just put this on again guys…WOW. I am just really blown away right now. This is like the best tobacco scent ever. It’s sweet but not pipe tobacco sweet, like by kilian. It’s a different kind of unisex spice sweet. Truly a carribean a take on tobacco, feels awesome wearing this stuff just knowing how great and different I smell. Very unique.
I have just never smelled a tobacco scent that smelled this wonderful…
    9/10 overall
    Highly recommended

This stuff smells amazing. I love this Caribbean tobacco vibe. Very good cheer vibe going on here and for the price one can’t go wrong. 100ml of niche juice that smells this good for under $100 is a deal. Only one catch….longevity isn’t the best, I get a couple hours on skin, clothes do better though..

Like being transported to Argentina. It feels light enough like a splash, but there is an intensity that lingers of sweet soft tobacco. I find it unisex and also addictive. The price has gone up from $62 to $88 on Net a Porter. I’m unsure why unless it was completely necessary.
