Nikolay49 – :
This starts very screechy, tart and toothachingly sweet. It mellows down quite fast though. The most prominent notes to my nose are fried banana and maple syrup, as well as a very tart and fruity pear. I wouldn’t say this has any vanilla or cake warmth, but it certainly has some spices in the background, reminiscent of pumpkin and cinnamon. The scent loses the tartness (read screechy feel) and becomes warmer and fuzzier until the end. Longevity and sillage are great actually. I quite like this one more than I thought at first try. I also find this one lacks the typical “indie base oil” smell that most of them have to some degree. I’m very curious about the other gourmands in Solstice Scents range, as this is the first one I’ve tried from this brand. Cheers!
