When I first wore this I wasn’t too impressed but then again I guess I was expecting this to smell as good as the original. However, this comes close but I do like the original a tad bit more.
This opens up smelling a lot like the original but this isn’t as green, more fruity with apple and there’s more yuzu in this making this a little more sharp and Ozonic.
The mid is the worst part of this fragrance as the Yuzu takes over making this sharp, screechy, and synthetic. BUT be patient as this phase only lasts 20-30 minutes and the synthetic sharp Yuzu phases and the apple and musk come back making this more pleasant, smooth and well rounded. The drydown is the best part of this fragrance and worth sitting through the synthetic heart. ( with that said I would wait 30 minutes after applying to go out in public as the heart of this fragrance may be offensive)
Fragrances this bares similarities to are of course the original Swiss Army Classic, polo sport and the soapiness and apple note in the drydown remind me slightly also of Azzaro Chrome.I would actually say this fragrance is better than all those mentioned except the original Swiss army.
Performance— this performs very well for a sports fragrance ! It lasts 5-8 hours and projects above average for 3 hours.
Overall rating— 7 out of 10 ! Great scent that performs well and gets compliments but it’s not a personal favorite of mine

For me a much more wearable version of the original; a bit less sharp and less synthetic, retains the overall characteristic smell of the first, but improved in balance overall. I like very much the brand, I want to like the fragrances but it isn’t quite there yet, and looking foward to try or, as usual, blind buy the new Swiss Army “Rock”.

Begins with a promising fougere blend – but sadly very quickly fades to resemble a cheap shower gel scent in the fresh green zest genre. And sadly only lasts slightly longer than such a shower gel would!
Suitable maybe as a freshener after a shower – as it only lasts an hour or so and then is relegated to close contact only.
Possibly only suitable for a young teenager making their way into the fragrance world. Far too generic a blend of scents to approach anything even special or memorable.

Released in 2014 without much fanfare, it began appearing in Brazilian stores recently. And as usual in the case of the creations of this House, Swiss Army Classic Sport hides a fragrance of sharp quality, like the famous Swiss Army knives that became synonymous with the brand.
According to the manufacturer, it has notes of coriander leaves, Green Apple and yuzu, in the the head; Lavender, Rosemary and aquatic accord, in the heart; Cedar, white musk and white amber, in the base.
And I start my review with a compliment: I love flankers that comply with the DNA from the traditional versions. And here’s a nice example of this!
There’s not much to say. This sportive version carries a lot of resemblance to the original version and this is, in my interpretation, due to the fact that the company worked with the same essential oils used previously. Which means that when some nuances exude, they have the same smell as before. It is not about just to repeat notes. It’s about to repeat the same ingredients from the same manufacturer. In this case, we can cite the notes of yuzu, lavender, rosemary, cedar and musk.
The main difference is obvious: the former was more aromatic and woody, with some floral and fruity nuances. This one is more fruity and ozonic, without appealing to a very citrusy accord, with some aromatic nuances in the background, making it more dynamic and refreshing throughout the evolution. It is, definitely, the sportive version of the other! And as in the original version, both projection and durability are very good.
The company defends the concept that this fragrance was created for those who understand that being an athlete is a state of mind, where the feeling starts every time you throw your backpack on your shoulders or get on your mountain bike (the background of the campaign), seeking your next adventure.
I also could not stop praising the packaging: the bottle follows the standard look of the brand, with a matte white paint, which transmits the freshness of exercising in the mountains having snow-covered peaks as background. The lid is retractable, as in Swiss Unlimited, giving a touch of modernity. And along with the perfume, comes a small bag perfect for carrying the bottle, which has a carabiner to allow you to load the scent attached to your backpack, clothing or part of the bike.
With Swiss Army Classic Sport, Victorinox proves that it is possible to create a flanker of quality – even with so many restrictions on industry – nearly two decades after the launch of the traditional version.

This flanker comes with a little carrying pouch. The first spray instantly reminds me of the original Swiss Army Classic, but after it starts drying down it smells less aggressive and kinda has an interesting Ozone smell to it. The apple adds sweetness to the yuzu citrus and lavender dominance. The sillage and longevity are moderate and lasted me 4-6 hours after 4 sprays. Swiss Army brand is respectable and the price is on the cheap so, yes I would def recommend to try this sporty fragrance.

Gotta say I love the original, it’s one of the best value scents ever. I came across this sport version and assumed it came out years ago with all those other flankers. I sniffed and thought it was fine — like a toned down version of the original made to be more soapy fresh with crisp green apple.
Then I come here and realize it’s new, which surprises me because it smells like it was formulated years ago with those other Swiss Army scents but just released now for whatever reason. There’s nothing wrong with it, it simply doesn’t feel modern to me. It’s a bit like Polo Sport, but that was created almost 20 years ago. For what it’s worth, the packaging looks sharp and the price is great.

A great way to show a big classic to new perfume lovers.
