Very affordable in price. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a massive crowd pleasing scent.
I don’t like it on my skin. It’s too soapy. I’m pretty sure this is one of those scents that’ll smell better when I’m sniffing it on someone else. 🙂
Although I don’t like it I recommend you to try it. It’s like a one step up from an Axe bodyspray that you got as an unwanted gift. 😀 It’s cheap and for a newcomer a great introduction to what there is out there. All Playboy fragrances that I’ve tried have been actually good for their price. For example Play It Lovely for Women.

So I was traveling, and TSA threw away my cologne. Didn’t feel like spending top dollar in the airport for a new one, so I picked Super Playboy up for $15. This particular airport had, what appeared to be, the full line of Playboy frags, and this one smelled pleasing enough. I really do love the smell; fruity and sweet, but not overkill, and balanced with some other notes as well. The only problem, longevity sucks. Love the smell, but it does’t last at all.

Playboy Super Playboy is yet another Playboy scent that should have been a flanker. I don’t get why Playboy scents smell like flankers to others but aren’t. Super Playboy would be a flanker of Playboy New York. If you removed the aledhydes and vinyl note and replaced it with an aquatic pineapple feel there is not much of a difference between the two scents. I must say that it does smells like David Beckham the Essence but to my nose it is better blended and not as sour as Beckham’s. It also smells like a more aquatic MontBlanc Legend and even to an extent Reyane Tradition Pure II.
Super Playboy is a nice pinapple and apple heavy scent. Those are the two main notes I get. I do get some pepper and cinnamon to spice the scent up. I do notice an aquatic accord though there is no official note.
Super Playboy gives me a 6 hour day with about an hour or so moderate projection. It works good as a nice working discount store fragrance for spring and summer days, though I wouldn’t fight someone saying it can work in fall and even winter. It is a scent for work and casual wearings.
Overall Super Playboy is nice but isn’t needed. There are too similar scents many in this family and unlike Playboy New York, there isn’t much of a difference between this and the others in this family. There is little reason to get Super Playboy unless you are young and don’t know of the others and are on a budget or need to fill an order at the price. For this reason, I give it a 6.8 out of 10. Nice performer, cheap, but unremarkable.

Such a beautiful fruity, spicy, fresh and expensive smelling perfume with below average performance. On clothes it stays longer but doesn’t project. I did 10 sprays across my chest over shirt to office but within no time I struggled to smell it. Once I did 3 sprays on same spot on my t-shirt over chest before going to sleep and in the morning i occasionally got heavenly dry down whiffs. The dry down also reminds me of UDV for men.
Again, a great fragrance with below average performance.

Honestly, I been seen a comment by @basshsiang, when he said that this perfume should be bought on an uninitiated, and I did it. Again, it was an excellent offer for 50 ml. eau de toilette and body deodorant of 150 ml. In fact, it was cheaper(eau de toilette+body deodorant) than a package of 50 ml perfume. Ah, yeah, I forgot to say how much I paid, only 4 euro! I mean, and this is more than enough to get ”ride” of a smile on face, but let me dedicate myself a bit to the perfume himself. The perfume is balanced mix, between Diesel Fuel For Life and Joop Jump, there are no doubts. It is also true that the pineapple is leading with so called fresh patchouli(patchouli+cedar)and it all points to the track Jean Paul Gaultir La Male small, but it’s interesting wich even that is less synthetic than La Male, and it’s more pleasant to wear, than La Male, especially in summer time. In fact, when it pass about 15 minutes, this Playboy reminds most of La Male. Not a too original, also, but even not a too bad. I see that it is not listed in the notes, but anis feels very well, and he’s a little bit sweet, but it remains the recognizable bitter note, even the smell of the ground is present there. The projection is not very impressive, but so it is with all the Playboy perfumes, except Playboy King Of The Game. Not bad perfume, with amazing price and that’s all. For more perfumes experience avoid the Playboy perfume house unless you are limited in payment, or if you’re not perfumes collectors like me.

I really like this scent a lot ! However, the first time I wore this I wore it in the dead of summer it came off as sicken lay sweet very much like invictus.
But I liked the scent so I decided to give it another shot in the colder months and I’m so glad I did as this is perfect if your looking for a freshie to wear in the colder months.
This opens up very fresh with the apple but the pineapple also makes this very sweet and syrupy as well. The pineapple isn’t natural like in Aventus but similar to the synthetic syrupy pineapple in curve. Once this dries downs it gets more smooth,woody and syrupy. I must say this is a very appealing scent and smells more expensive than what it is.
1 thing worth noting is that this isn’t an Aventus clone but once this hits the drydown there’s something that I get whiffs of that kind of reminds me of certain notes in Aventus. I’m guessing maybe the pineapple and apple ?
Performance is average — it lasts 5-8 hours but only projects for about half an hour but you will have a 1 foot bubble for 4-5 hours with noticeable silage.
Overall rating— 7 out of 10 ! A scent that I really like for colder months but it’s nothing that really stands out

Reminds me Legend Intense, with less depth and complexity. Longevity surprisingly good, sillage above average on my skin. Versatile, good for casual, office, clubbing. Girls love it.

First I thought it smelled anise but according to the notes it’s probably patchouli, cinnamon and cedar with a bit of pepper. It’s more spicy than fruity.
In my opinion it smells anise/liquorice, it’s also (very)) sweet (compared to fragrances that aren’t). I don’t feel attracted by/to it but it’s not bad.
Loved the blue colour…
Suits both summer and winter.

One of the best Playboy fragrances, along with Ibiza and London. It smells like a quality fragrance, spicy and fruity. The sillage isn’t very good and it doesn’t last long, a problem with most Playboy fragrances.

Very fruity. I got it when it first launched. It has that very fruity smell but that very professional smell. all together 8/10. right behind vip

While the first fragrances launched in the Playboy line were very synthetic and generic ones (substantially smelling like cheap perfumed deodorants in disguise) the level went up with the later launches :London, the extremely sweet and bold Vip and this last one, Super.
Super Playboy is a nice mass market fragrance which, if lacking the complexity or subtleness of high-end perfumes, succeeds in not smelling obviously cheap. It substantially is a well done fragrance and one of those you could even get compliments for.
It is warm, aromatic and slightly sweet (without being overly sweet or cloying like Vip) and while obviously targetting young men it is not exclusively for teenagers.
The weakest point is maybe its moderate projection and longevity (at least on me) but these points make it very versatile too, as it can suit any season, any dressing style and both day and night.
The bottle is the same as all other Playboy ones, very simple but somewhat stylish, and the blue undertone used for the Super packaging is nice.
Worth trying.
PS: out of curiosity…since London is a well done copy of Diesel Fuel for Life and Vip is very much in the spirit of Paco Rabanne 1 Milion, if anyone know or discover if Super Playboy is a clone or very similar to a currently trendy upscale fragrance let me know 🙂

I wouldn’t say Aventus Knock off. You can say its reminiscent of, but i disagree. This will be the second out of entire line that I shall keep in my collection. Even though im not a fan of the Playboy line. I feel that this Fragrance deserves some attention. One spray…..and yes!! It will bring back memories of a Cologne from the past. This cologne still sits within my Display and is generously admired and over used. If you want to know……..buy it!
