This makes me smell like a smoker who tried to mask the scent with mint mouthwash. Blech.

Can’t describe much… but i do enjoy the scent. Quite complicated notes imo.. but the opening is so lovely.. fruity fresh, burst burst burst.. then the flower started to bloom. The tobacco is very noticeable hence the smell no to sweet and girly. Not to long until i experience this fruity-floral, gourmand and spicy scent at the same time. And its intoxicating. People 3 feets away from you will notice and started to ask who s smell so good ;D love love love… i look forward to try another from Amouage.

I looked forward to a sample for a long time. So disappointed! Everyone is getting wafts of lovely flowers, tobacco, and vanilla and I’m getting a nose assault. This reads cheap on my skin. Somehow it reminds me of the eighties…the perfume equivalent of Aqua Net and poor fashion choices.

Just like Kilians GoodGirlGoneBad but with more depth plus a nice vanilla note that wraps it gently. The tobacco fits v e r y well, it could’ve have even more oomph though. The rest of the notes are mostly overpowered by osmanthus. Abstract “Cabbage Patch Kids” are also there which is cool.
I feel this is a really thick, almost sirupy scent, Pantone 105.
Uplifting+addictive and I would 100% buy this over GoodGirlGoneBad.

I was really excited to test it given rave reviews and my love for sunny uplifting scents. Another reminder that fragrances are personal experience and I am glad I didn’t blind-buy it. Cloyingly sweet, unsophisticated, teenage scent.

On me I also get a very tobacco scent. To me it is almost like a softer more daytime Tom Ford type of fragrance. It is a very comforting scent for me. I do get some bite which might be the juniper. For me I would say a fall fragrance on me, but could also be summer and spring.
I imagine a woman wearing this. She is 40, she is someone to remember. She has a sensual vibe to her, yet also adventurous. She is going for a ride in her convertible with the top down. Eating lunch in the park and ice cream after dinner watching the sunset.
Could be business professional, but I imagine it more of a weekend scent.
If the price wasnt so high I would probably buy it.

Delicious! Underrated perfume. Perfect for the spring and summer. The floral is perfect and the vanilla adds a beautiful gourmand aspect. I’m afraid I’ll use up my bottle too fast!

In my case,Sunshine reminds me Britney spears curious in control.they’re not dupes just that when sunshine dries down,I find the smooth vanilla with fruity undertone of it similar to curious in control

I`ve been looking for the perfect daytime summer scent, and in this beauty, I`ve found it.
If like me you are looking for a non-typical, non-aldehydic and non-green summer perfume, try this.
What`s shocked me is that it smells like something I used to have and was cheap, and for the love of me I can`t find it in my memory. I was very young when I used it. If you have an idea about a cheap perfume, quite likely celebrity one that smells like this, please shoot.

I used to be obsessed with a candle company called Scentsy. My two favorite scents were Blueberry Cheesecake, and Weathered Leather. This smells like a combination of those two scents. There is a creamy decadence and a fruity berry jam, with a rugged leathery base.
I know that the notes listed beg to differ, and I might be coming off crazy to anyone who reads this review, but the nose knows what it knows, no?
Cheesecake + Berries + Leather folks. You read it here first.
Also longevity + sillage are just fine and dandy.
I could see myself investing in a bottle of this some sunny day (pun intended)

Amouage Sunshine smells absolutely Fabulous! This fragrance smells like candied apricots sitting in the hot dry desert sand while the sun shines its rays on the fruit slowly but surely drying it out. I get a slight smokiness but not fire smokey, this must be the white tobacco. When I wear this I feel like an exotic sun goddess lol The bottle is gorgeous by the way

I bought sunshine months ago but I needed time to get to know it better.I remember that when I received my bottle and sprayed it I was shocked.I didn’t know why I liked it in the first place.I could smell a nice fruityfloral scent which was covered by something bitter, masculine and a bit smokey.this bitter note smells sort of woody,paper-like so I refer it to papyrus
The first day that I received my bottle I was unhappy and I was thinking another original, complex amouage which is not for me
But after half an hour,I was the happiest girl in the world.even now whenever I catch a whiff of sunshine I feel happy.
give it enough time to settle down, that bitter note totally goes away and you’re left with a very smooth scent of osmanthus and flowers and tobacco blossom in a base of creamy vanilla and soft almondy powder.this is not a supersweet, candy like vanilla.almond isn’t strong and is different with what we’re familiar with in gourmands.everything is so well blended and smooth.delicious without being foody, warm and conforming.truely lovely.
It’s not as complex as what I thought at first and I can’t see an arabic vibe in it.I can’t find amouage’s spicy-incensey-balsamic signature in sunshine and I’m so thankful for it.
It really gives me this picture:to lie down without any thoughts and concerns while your face is being caressed by sun’s warm fingers.
Best seasons for this cuddly, smooth scent are summer and fall IMO.longevity is great.sillage is moderate

I ordered a decant of this, after deciding against a blind buy and I am glad I did. I was super excited about this perfume, especially after I read and saw reviews from my favorite you tubers…and that bottle is just amazing. From the first spray forward it was just odd and unsettling tobacco on my skin. I use the word unsettling because it was a smell that I can’t really describe as I have a somewhat limited olfactory vocabulary. It settled into something a bit more apricot jam like and became pure powder after about 3 hours (as fragrances often do on me…to my chagrin). I can honestly see why some people like it, but to me, the fragrance was completely incongruent with the name and beautiful sunny yellow packaging. I expected something a tad brighter and bolder and I was hoping it would lift me out of my winter doldrums like Hilde Soliani’s incredible Bambolina…of which there is no contemporary. For once, I made a conservative purchase and am grateful for my decision (…BUT THAT BOTTLE!!!)

I find it of colour yellow indeed – fluffy and warm.
At the beginning you smell vanilla infused by tobacco and it is confusing a bit, like on the top of ultra-feminine fragrance someone layered a male one. This white tobacco reminds me of very dusty jasmine note.
But as time goes the feminine fluffiness and fullness grows bigger and bigger till the size of gigantic powdery-almondy PUFF. And then at once you surrounded by this Aura of osmanthus and almond-powder, that lasts and lasts on me. Even when I spray few times on myself in room, then will return in few hours – the scent will be present, absorbed into textiles, walls, which is very unusual. I especially keen on artemisia note here, it prevents Sunshine to be sticky-sweet, or fruity-like, but brings it nicely to oriental dimension.
Fun to wear, recommend! *thanks to Ioli19 for this decant!*

    Sunshine?
Well…on my skin, not quite the sunny ray I was expecting [as depicted by many of the reviews of lucky wearers of this scent]…
The tobacco note in this fragrance is so domineering on my skin, that it is TOO masculine on me…it was very linear from start to finish; this scent didn’t reveal any patch, black currant, almond or magnolia…
I’m not seeing any citrus named in the perfume pyramid, but there definitely is something in there that tries to arm wrestle with the tobacco note…
As much as I love the house of Amouage, this one is a gigantic NO on my skin…
    *sad face*

As someone who dislike sweet scents because they can sometimes be irritating or too cloying, trust me when I say that this is nothing of the sort. In fact, the sweetness is incredibly heavenly.
    So, so heavenly..

This is the parfum of my life, my Jewel, my lover, sweet and oriental, the most beautiful combination.

Lovely and comfortable, sweet but not sickly, perfect balanced, wonderful notes of black currant, artemisia, tobacco and juniper give it depth. A delicious androgynous drydown.
No trivial amber or sandalwood here. Unique.

I love this perfume, it feels like candy or sweets, this was my first impression… then ……… comes in the very beautiful osmanthus. after a couple of minutes it is much floral compared to the beginning, probably thanks to jasmine and magnolia that are beautifully balanced. A sweet enough perfume, vanilla is very obvious, gives a scent a magical and inebriating aura … a very beautiful perfume from good longevity. Sunshine i love it.

I was recently testing Amouage fragrances, and I realized the Amouage Sunshine for women smells very similar to the original Vince Camuto for women. The osmanthus note is hugely significant in both fragrances, and the Sunshine is a little bit more feminine because it does have a creamy almond note along with a mainstream sweeeeeeet black currant note and it lacks the leather note that is strongly present in Vince Camuto.
VC is much more linear in comparison with Sunshine, which opens with a horrifying cloying cough syrup smell and develops into the nice fragrance that it is. Vince Camuto, in turn, is very long lasting with great sillage and low price. For this price, I suppose Sunshine should have been more much more long-lasting.
Final verdict for the lovers of this kind of scent and the people who find osmanthus note appealing:
If Sunshine is too sweet and too expensive for you, and you like leather note, try Vince Camuto for women. If you find Vince Camuto too strong and masculine and you don’t mind the price, give a chance to Amouage Sunshine. 🙂

Boy oh boy what a complete let down. Burned my nose. Smells cheap. Just a bad experience. Too bad. I love that yellow bottle!

It’s a warm fruity coconutty vanilla concoction. It’s bright and sunny but for a couple hours in the opening, it smells a bit cheap, like something a prepubescent teen would wear from BBB. Eventually, the drydown is really lovely – a warm sweet powdery vanilla like a just baked cake that is truly intoxicating and divine.
I don’t love it for the first 2 hours, but if i could skip that and just get to the beautiful drydown, i’d get this in a heartbeat. I’ll try it a couple more times until my sample runs out to see if my opinion changes.
    7.5/10

I love Sunshine. It’s my favorite Amouage so far, though I haven’t tried them all yet. The big oriental perfumes from this brand don’t seem to suit me well, they smell wrong and old on me. I also like Honour, but I’m a bit afraid of the LotV in it as that’s my nemesis note.
Well, what I want to say is: I understand that those who are looking for a heavy incensy oriental like most Amouages before are disappointed from Sunshine. It’s a modern perfume, I’d say a gourmand floriental. But it’s a great one.
Sunshine really lives up to its name. The first blast feels so sunny and bright with apricot (osmanthus, but it reads as apricot for me) and juicy black currant.
Vanilla and almond are also strong and add their typical warm and sweet scents to the perfume. But it’s not cloying and not a basic gourmand, thanks to the prominent white tobacco. I think it’s blendend well with the bitter herbal notes that are listed. Those aren’t distinctive, they don’t stick out, but it’s clear they’re there to round off and complenent the sweet notes. Same goes for the creamy white florals, they are important supporting notes in the background.
The drydown is very vanillary, but the other notes, especially the currant and osmanthus, are still here. So warm and comforting, just like the sun shining to your window in the morning on a beautiful warm day.
Everything in this scent is very well blended and oozes quality.
Despite the name Sunshine this is not a fragrance to use in the sun in my opinion, but a fragrance to use when you need some extra sunshine and a mood lift on a rainy day. As I come from a notoriously rainy city, that makes it a fragrance I could use quite often.
It’s a powerful perfume with strong projection and lasting power.
I really want it, if it wasn’t so expensive I would have already bought it last year. I’m waiting for Amouage to release a 50 ml bottle of Sunshine. It would be more affordable and I personally dislike big bottles, especially from potent fragrances, no matter how much I love a fragrance. Pleeeeaaaseee.
Sorry for writing such a long review, but I had to, that’s just how great Sunshine is.

After pumping out stupendous Oriental masterpieces like a Epic, Memoir, Lyric and Interlude, Amouage has gone the way of more European offerings. I deeply regret this trajectory. Perhaps the great royal Omani house is diversifying its assets, perhaps they want a larger share of the market, perhaps it’s purely an artistic decision, perhaps… perhaps. Some of their newer offerings, like Bracken and Sunshine Woman are pretty good I must say. But they just aren’t very Amouage. It’s like the person you once loved underwent a lobotomy.
Sunshine is one of the newer releases that I can appreciate. Underneath the visage of the lobotomised perfume one perceives some of the original Amouage DNA. The cassis in this is strong. It is so dominant it rang somewhere deep in the recesses of my mind. And then I realised it reminded me very clearly of Viktoria Minya’s Hedonist Cassis. Of course I immediately went to dab some of that on, and there it was. However, there’s a deeper and darker dimension to Sunshine, owing to the tobacco, almond, and vanilla. The Magnolia and Osmanthus note came through as well. And I’m struck by how pretty this combination is. Magnolia, Osmanthus, Almond. So exquisite; so right for each other. It is a feel good fragrance. Makes you wanna skip into the sunshine. However, I will stick to my Epic, Memoir, Lyric and Interlude. Together we will cuddle and reminisce about the good old times. Regretfully.

I have a sample – and from that one I must say NO. This is not a scent for my skin. I get a weird scent – nothing from the pyramid stands out -its just a mischmasch of evertthing. So I will try something else – and I know I will come across treasures made by Amouage.

In the opening almost all of the notes listed are identifiable. A delicious almond and citrusy osmosis, a slightly jarring early note like tobacco waiting to be rolled and some bitter herbal artemesia. The magnolia and the osmosis. The current is more subtle but you definately get some fruity undertones, but they blend well with the citrusy floral. About an hour in it there was a bit of a smokey note.
The vanilla carries a bit of the almond scent with it. The whole time the osmosis is dominate. Nothing is ever muddy or perfumey or boring. It is lovely.

  30. :

White tobacco and vanilla. A lovely sent. With a name like Sunshine, I thought it would be bright and floraly but, it’s more heavy and oriental. Can be worn day or night. I smell oud, but do not see it listed in the notes. It reminds me a bit of Rania J’s Ambre Loup, which I love.
I believe that if you are into smoky, tobacco, vanilla scents that this may be worth it. Because I have a number of fragrances that have similar notes, I do not believe the price tag is worth it for me.
    Medium Sillage, Long Longevity

  31. :

    4 out of 5

When I first tested this without knowing the notes, for me it was a sunny, tart apricot coconut scent. Smooth, creamy and not at all screechy. Sweet, juicy and fruity yet deep, grown up and powdery. It reminds me of a summery apricot or passionfruit liqueur. In the drydown there’s just a fruity whisper on top of a bed of powdery, sweet almond. The composition may not seem unique at first sniff and it’s the crowdpleaser of Amouage’s line, it surely feels familiar and comforting. What does it matter when it’s alluring, soft, feminine and lovely? It’s like a more elegant Vanille Abricot. It’s up to you if you find it worth your money, unfortunately it’s way too expensive for me– but the quality and longevity is undeniably there. This is a powdery, fruity grown up tropical scent I think. Very sensual. Lovely.

I adore Sunshine by Amouage. I LOVE the white tobacco, and the almond and the osmanthus! And the vanilla is so smooth and sweet and alluring, it just takes my breath away. It’s rich and sweet, yet with a wonderful bitter, spicy, fruity and florally, aromatic, elegant and feminine delicacy. It’s a very fresh and happy, carefree and gay, dancing in the sunshine perfume, and I always feel like that when I wear it. It’s fabulous!!! And lasts fantastically well – 12 hours at least, and stays lovely and strong for most of that time. I love it very very much.

  33. :

    3 out of 5

I really enjoy the house of Amouage, but Sunshine does not get a lot of love out there on the blogosphere. I can sort of see why. It’s not their typical blend, but it may be a crowd pleaser in some respects. This is a predominantly “Vanilla” scent to me. That’s how I would categorize it. I enjoy the tobacco and the almond and that’s why this reminds me of the initial “play-doh” aspect of Hypnotic Poison (although there it’s much more pronounced and artificial smelling). In this, I smell something oily and oud-like as well, and when I first spray, it’s got a disconcertingly citric bite to it–so the first few minutes are vanilla, almond, and citrus and oud which all “clash” a bit. Then it settles and becomes a bit more powdery in the silage, and “oily” up close with a sharp oud which I think is really the artemisia.
I “like” it, but it’s not love. I’m not a huge vanilla fan, and this isn’t how I like my vanilla (more on the spicy and incense side). I have FB of Fate, Epic, Memoir, Ubar, Lyric and Memoir, but won’t be getting one of this. I have a good sized 5 ml sample and will wave a goodbye when gone.

Gorgeous oh soooo gorgeous. I love Sunshine by Amouage, it’s so so heavenly! It’s a gorgeous summer’s day, when you have nothing to do except feel good!
Very feminine, very classy and stylish. Sweet, and also zesty. It’s a real beach, river, trees, glorious summer in nature perfume. It’s beautiful.

  35. :

    Hope springs eternal.
I KNOW the tobacco note is the hammer of olfactory death for me. I know it.
    BUT
Surely Amouage (a favorite house) would not let me down.
How could I ever go wrong with a fragrance called Sunshine, for heaven’s sake? I live in the sun and heat! I crave it.
No way those beautiful notes of magnolia, black currant, almond, osmanthus, vanilla and my steadfast patchouli will disappoint me. Just look at that perfectly hued bottle, it’s a sign. Besides, the tobacco is white tobacco. It sounds lighter, brighter, HOPEFUL.
Amouage Sunshine will be the exception to my tobacco rule.
    Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!
No matter what, the tobacco note has always gone terribly awry in perfumery for me. It blast up my nose with no regard for my olfactory safety and welfare. Yes, this composition does allow me moments of osmanthus, vanilla and black currant and patchouli, but they are tobacco tinged to my nose. I’m unable to enjoy them as I would normally. Still, it is more notes than I typically am allowed by tobacco, so there’s that.
    Noteworthy Notes
-tobacco, holding all other notes hostage
    Longevity
    -too long
    Projection
    -too much
If the tobacco note is a challenge for you, this MIGHT be your fragrance, then again, why risk the olfactory assault?
    Stay-ah-Way.
    Keep hope alive! 😉

I imagine this is what a ripe apricot tree and maple tree smell like together on a end of summer / early fall day. Freakin heaven!

  37. :

    4 out of 5

Interesting composition, I haven’t smelled anything like it. Rather green, also vanillic, but a completely different animal to, say, YSL Manifesto. Not very sweet, really. Almond adds some powderiness. There is also a leathery aspect to it somehow… do I detect the faintest whisper of oud?
The fact that the two main descriptors of this fragrance are “fruity” and “floral” is immensely entertaining.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

The artemisia, black currant, juniper, patchouli, papyrus and white tobacco really make this smell pretty herbal and medicinal in the opening. I can smell the other notes come out more and more as time goes on. Now it’s sweeter and more floral, with a very slight fruit vibe (maybe from the osmanthus and possibly the juicier aspects of jasmine mixing with the black currant) that when mixed with the vanilla, it creates a vaguely powdered Orange Julius odor in there with all the herbs and magnolia. After the sunshine is done morphing it’s unrecognizable from it’s former representation, settling into a super powdery sweet vanilla patchouli type fragrance in the same category as Coromondel. It’s really quite nice and “puffy” smelling. I really enjoyed the opening, and though I was disappointed when the fragrance changed, it morphed into a totally addictive sweet powder puff scent that I’m in love with.

Call me crazy but Amouage sunshine reminds me Britney spears curious in control!at least on paper
I don’t mean they exactly smell the same, but combination of soft powdered almondy vanilla+fruity notes is common between them.I loooove in control but it’s discontinued and it’s weak and sometimes feels very flat and simple so I’m very happy to find something similar which is much more complex and seems stronger(not a strong sillage, but at least it’s long lasting)
Sunshine isn’t your typical Amouage so if you’re looking for a heavy arabic fragrance or a sillage-monster ,it’s not the one
I can’t describe the notes and they’re changes,I should’ve try it again and this time on my skin,so I’m gonna update this, but for now I can say that it’s a cozy scent.doesn’t seem a real oriental to me.it’s a floral-fruity in a base of powdery, smokey vanilla.before checking it’s notes I felt there must be something dry and woody in base.sunshine is year round wearable(I think it’s better for mild weather)highly recommended to powdery vanilla lovers

I love this fragrance, very very sweet I admit, but I like that. Very complex too, and lasts long. I bought a tester bottle on ebay as I find the price tag on this one far too high. I was a bit worried it would be a fake but no, it’s fabulous, exactly the same as the ones I tested in Harrods. I love it personally.

To me, this has nothing to do with sunshine and everything to do with cheap, musty deodorant. I purchased a sample on Ebay and after trying it I assumed I had received a fake product. Tempted by the description of the fragrance, I tried another sample from a reputable source. It truly is that awful. There’s no almond, no vanilla, just screeching white flowers and sickly, wet and powdery tobacco. Truly disgusting.

When I first put this on my wrists, it was super duper strong. It turned into something almost skin-scent-like pretty quickly, but it’s very tenacious ~ great lasting power, and very little sillage.
To an untrained nose and to many trained noses, this has a TON in common with Burberry for men. Think Burberry for men, but femme it up and add a huge dollop of vanilla. Then make it a light scent, somehow.
If you sniff hard, you get tobacco, but it’s not overbearing at all. It’s very nice here, to me.
If you breathe out hot air onto your wrists, and immediately inhale, you get Apothia Velvet Rope! (This is strange, because you only get this if you do this hot air trick.)
All in all, I love it, I do. I would wear it happily if someone gave it to me or if I received it in a swap. But since it’s got a lot in common with those other two (boyfriend has Burberry and we share my Velvet Rope) *and* it costs a fortune, I would never shell out for this, even if I had loads of disposable cash.
    Specifics:
Of the notes listed, I get these:
    artemisia, black currant, almond
    osmanthus, vanilla
    juniper, white tobacco

I LOVE this perfume and have been low-key obsessed with it all summer. I initially tried this fragrance in the winter and was disappointed by its “flatness” (I’m guessing the papyrus and tobacco were the culprits). But now that its summer, this perfume is a different beast! The summer heat causes this scent to bloom into floral-pastry amazingness that is incredibly enjoyable. It has become my unexpected summer signature. For those who are initially unimpressed with this scent, I encourage you try it in warmer months!

This is horrible on my skin. I’m sitting here trying to remember what this smells like. Maybe it’s tang from my childhood? It’s a medicinal sort of citrus, like powdered citrus candy without enough sweetener and a really chemical edge. And there’s a sourness beneath it all that is really off putting. Doesn’t smell at all as I had hoped, glad I sampled before I bought a bottle!
    I’m not a fan.

GOD this is kind of citrusy in a non obvious way, deep dried tropical-ish fruit (pineapple, apricot, mango accord),vanilla, the tiniest floral note. The green notes compliment this so well. The tobacco keeps it from being too fruit indulgent. It smells bright and cheerful. There is something so deeply beautiful about this. The bottle is amazing as well!.
Found out about this from Delicious Delights on youtube.

A coconut lotus mix without any lotus or coconut notes mentioned? This is like a creamy sunshine with white coconut liquid and lotus drinks with water splash, and white fruits mix. It is a 9 am at the beach in one of Europe’s islands in summer time. Quite fresh (not the usual citrus fresh) and deliciously edible.

I shouldn’t have tried it; I am ruined now.
I am a mainstream/designer girl. I try to give niche a wide berth because I fear that I could very easily get carried away and find myself bankrupt and homeless. For most mainstream designers, watchwords like “sun” and “sunshine” alongside colours like yellow, white and gold will mean you are getting some kind of beachy, sunscreeny, maybe citrusy, coconutty or pineappley scent. Fun summer times, hurrah!
So when this was handed to me to try on in the store, that’s really what I expected. NOPE. So much nope. All the nope. Nopes for everyone.
This is such an unusual (and somehow more accurate) take on the word ‘sunshine’. It is sunshine in a much less intense way than summer or the beach. It is not the kind of sunshine that will burn or tan you, it is sunshine that merely warms you. The kind of sunshine you turn your face to. It’s spring sunshine. Springtime, when you can enjoy some sunshine in the garden, but may still need a cardigan in case it gets a little nippy.
I HATE how much I loved wearing this stuff. I am in trouble.

A perfectly balanced, delicate vanillic floral…
I really love this one. It’s a wonderful fragrance which shows a very different and transparent side from Amouage. Usually the house is famous for it’s heavy laden, seductive and decadent oriental spices, with emphasis on frankincense and resinous woods. This one is different. Sunshine Woman is a beautifully soft, elegant floral which has osmanthus flower, jasmine, magnolia and tobacco blossom. But not only that, it also has almond, blackberry and vanilla. The white flowers and vanilla work beautifully together, along with the almond. I love it!
I think it is basically unisex, and inoffensive… but it would smell absolutely fantastic on a woman. In fact, I can see this one being a wonderful wedding day perfume, as it is so happy and transparent. Amouage have once again created something very beautiful and delicate here, a great perfume in my opinion, and very well balanced. It’s one to try for women in the spring and summer. Really lovely!

Perfect name for this, it’s so cheerful and uplifting. Fragrances that claim to be invoking the sun in some way generally tend to be citrus based, so this was a nice change from the usual.
Blackcurrant is the most prominent note here. It’s a note that’s usually very jammy, but it’s more reserved than that here. It’s contradictory – juicy, but slightly dry at the same time. I think it’s combining it with almond that does it. The almond itself is lovely, subtle, not too sweet and runs through the whole composition.
There’s osmanthus in the heart of this, but I don’t really get anything else in the way of florals, save for an occasional blink-and-you’ll-miss-it hint of generic ‘white flowers’.
The dry down becomes a little powdery and the vanilla shines, with just a touch of woodiness.
Ultimately, this is yet another fruity floral, but it’s a very nice one that doesn’t smell like anything else out there. It’s cheerful, complex and restrained.
The sillage is moderate and longevity is around 6 hours.

I think Sunshine is one of those nostalgia-in-a-bottle scents, everything I loved in my previous years rolled into one!
The opening is a sticky candied-sherbert, with a honey’d glaze to it. Although it’s predominantly berries, it’s all smooth and no sour. Into the drydown there’s a distinct transition into a unisex combination of what my unknowing nose would claim to be incense & gentle pine (but upon further inspection of the note pyramid – tobacco, papyrus & juniper). Really brings back my childhood, and what my clothes would FAINTLY smell like after hiking though pine trees and sitting around a campfire! *swooooon*.
Unexpectedly uplifting! And unlike anything I’ve sampled before! Understated while retaining character.
I definitely must have a full bottle of this at some point!

I liked this the very first time I tried it. The scent was very familiar, but I couldn’t place it. I have worn it a few times now, and realized today what the familiar smell is – this reminds me of black and milds. Not quite as harsh, but definitely reminiscent of a cream flavored black and mild.
This has a pipe tobacco-type smell, mixed with thick vanilla sweetness and some unexpected freshness. On my skin it is fairly line
