I don’t own VIP Private Show so I’m not able to compare the similarity between this and VIP as what other users indicated, but I would say this is quite different than the rest of her collection (of all I own and smelled).
It is citrusy fruity scent – strong orange-y peach and apple smell – with creamy vanilla milk and a hint of ‘tea’ type green-smell. Surprisingly I could smell the base of Private Show from this fragrance after 5 hours too, only without the coffee note.
It lasts 12 hours on me with about 6 sprays (not as strong but still can smell it) which exceeded my expectation for an EDT! It is a good day time summer fragrance and not too heavy for any occasions.

At theacharm, this has decent sillage nd it’s very sweet so it could potentially be cloying to u, since most fantasies are. It’s not very long lasting on skin though. Maybe a couple hrs

Please guys let me know how long this beautiful fragrance last? like how many hours on skin/clothes….sillage?
Does it make you feel dizzy, nauseated or sick?
I really want it but some britney perfume makes me feel dizzy and they’re headache inducing (except private show)
    Thank you!

A sweet creamy peach! I am a fan of peach, but usually peach fragrances are heavy or strong (Tresor, Rush, even Taylor by Taylor Swift). This one is a light playful peach EDT, not a bit heavy…but also not long-lasting. Stronger than a peach body spray, weaker than other Fantasies, but still an excellent peach while it lasts.
NOT strong and NOT long-lasting. Smells good, wearable in the heat, not cloying. Just wish it were more powerful and projected more.
There’s not any raspberry even though there is a picture of a raspberry. The note listed is raspberry LEAF, not raspberry. Maybe a long time ago I had raspberry leaf tea (supposedly it has health benefits for women); however, I have no concept of what that’s supposed to smell like. So can’t say if it’s there. Milk Mousse? Had to Google that one, no idea either. Guess it’s responsible for the sweetness. Tiny bit of apple, tiny bit of orange blossom, but I am really enjoying the peaches and cream as one reviewer noted below.
Not the best of Britney, but still worth wearing and enjoyable. Wish this were an EDP with more strength because it’s a nice combination of notes. Drydown is linear. As the peach disappears a faint sandalwood/amber sweetness takes over.

Sweet, fruity, pineapple, milkshake. A scent to become happy of! Also a whiff of beachy/salty, but the Vanilla sweetness covers it. The sweetness does not become bothersome, but Plays well into the other tropical notes. Well done!

I had very high hopes for it.
It’s just sweetness there and nothing else.
It’s nice smelling, but I hoped the “sunset” version would me more than the sweet original one.
Ir reminds me more of something by Playboy than Britney. I don’t sense the raspberry.

This is so nice. It really smells like summer.
It´s creamy and juicy, and still fresh.
Sunset Fantasy is a pleasant, mainly fruity-fresh mix of apple, peach, berries, sweet citrus and mild powdered floral notes. The fragrance soon becomes milky and a bit warmer with the cream, amber and a light vanilla note developing fairly quickly.

It smelled much stronger and heavier than I expected..a little headache-trigging for me at least 🙁 the notes sound lovely, but on my skin they just didn’t work. I will keep using my Midnight Fantasy (the best one) 🙂

I finally got myself a bottle of this. It’s definitely fleeting, but oh my is it gorgeous! Yummy, creamy-juicy, so fresh and summery. I wish it lasted longer. I feel like the creamy notes are very dominant here, but that’s fine. They are perfectly rounded out by a hint of zesty citrus and the sweetness of the peach. Sexy peaches and cream. I love it!

Have come to identify the Britney Spears brand with quality. Really like no musk here. That seems to really keep this on the fruity but it is a lighter fruit sort of spiced with the amber.
From now on I may start only buying fragrance in the 1 oz. size. Fantastic collection of the big bottles but times change. Those larger sizes of her two latest releases are hard to find and I’ve given up on 3.3 oz of VIP. Just think it isn’t in the states.
Elizabeth Arden was saved by Revlon. Britney and Elizabeth Taylor are the two lines that make them money. My feel is the focus may shift to other countries for distribution? Hello we can’t get Renner remix in states?
Long way of saying pretty confident always be able to find a bottle of Britney or Fantasy. She is my candy cabinet. But everything has a life cycle and this brand may be there. What next? Is there a market for more?
This one is less candy, though. This is more a fruit pastry but a flakey one .. very light crust with focus on juicy fruits. That they plopped a lovely scoop of cool cream upon.
There is the rather major difference. BSpears has a long menu option for cupcakes but this is a french pastry.
Per design? This bottle is maybe my favorite.

I was finally able to snag a 3.3oz bottle. It’s becoming increasingly hard to obtain the larger bottles of Britney’s fragrances lately. She’s only got this in stores in a 1.0oz size and that’s just laughable. Especially for a weaker scent as it’s a EDT.
The bottle is gorgeous and I enjoy the jewels being back on the translucent and two tone bottle. The juice. While it is a EDT it seems to hold well, and doesn’t seem to be too stuffy. I will say first whiff it reminds me of VIP Private Show. That same citrus floral with a warm sugary spice scent. VIP private show is a citrus version of that spicy chocolate warm sugary Private Show. Well, Sunset Fantasy dabbles with that. One of my fave Britney fragrances and I also label as one of her most Uni-Sex fragrances is “Fantasy – The NAUGHTY Remix”, this scent also smells a good bit like that. There’s a snip of the cinnamon and spice undertone in this scent. I did not really expect that? No one has really reviewed this. But, when I looked over the notes. Bam there it is spice, amber, vanilla milk froth. It’s all there. A milky spicy tropical blend. It’s not at all what I expected. If anything I think this will be a more mature version of what VIP could have been. I wear that a lot and I only managed to get a 1.7oz bottle of that and it’s gone almost. Lots of compliments on that, I’m anxious to see how Sunset wears and of compliments come in. So far one days wear has been nice and close to the body but it’s a total makeover of VIP and Naughty remix but in a new bottle and ANOTHER Fantasy flanker.

I don’t have an in-depth review of this fragrance, but I was at Kohl’s today and was happy to test this out. I was actually taken by surprise—this is very nice! Not the most unique thing in the entire world, no, but far beyond what I expected. It’s a delicious blend of vague fruity notes swimming in a vast sea of whipped cream. If I find this for a reasonable price I may actually pick it up some time! I’m happy to see Britney’s Fantasy line redeeming itself.

This is really nice. I wasnt sure about another summer/tropical one from Britney after Island Fantasy. This starts off candy sweet like a jolly rancher. Once it dries down the amber and the milk or cream mix and help mellow that out to a very nice fragrance. Overall, a nice summery fragrance with moderate longevity & sillage.

I didn’t do well with the sour kiwi note in Fantasy. It also felt heavy and artificially candy sweet. Sunset Fantasy doesn’t contain these elements. It is actually more of an edible, still fruity, but a creamy gourmand.

  17. :

    4 out of 5

Wow, this has a lot more sandalwood than I was expecting. Enough that it reminds me of Pinrose Sun Saint, more than the sour fruity candy I was hoping for. It’s not a bad scent per se, but unfortunately sandalwood turns sour-bitter on my skin. So this one’s sadly not for me.

KThis is is the 1st jeweled bottle if fantasy that I wasnt immediately impressed by when I 1st smelled it. I mean, I eventually got tired of all if them except intimate, but I don’t think this one every stands a chance with me. That’s unfortunate because I collect the jeweled fantasy bottles and I think this one is the prettiest. I had a feeling this would happen when I first saw the notes

Sunset Fantasy by Britney Spears is essentially Summer in a bottle. It reminds me of Island Fantasy, but much juicier.
It’s sweet like the rest of Britney’s fragrance line, but not gourmand this time. Sunset Fantasy is a juicy, tropical fruity floral with bold notes of peach, raspberry, grapefruit and apple. It smells like a delicious fruit punch cocktail.
The scent overall is really fun and flirty. It’s not a scent that begs to be taken seriously. If I happened to own a bottle, I know I would wear it from time to time, but I admittedly wouldn’t reach for it very often. It’s not as bold nor as exciting as some of her other fruity floral scents like Midnight Fantasy and Believe.
The scent projection is at its strongest during the opening top notes. I found the sillage in Sunset Fantasy much lighter throughout the drydown. The apple note continues all the way through this composition, blending nicely with the sandalwood and milk froth accord in the base.
Sunset Fantasy, unfortunately, doesn’t have the longevity to match some of her previous scents. It’s interesting to note that Sunset Fantasy is also an Eau de Toilette, which is odd as Britney Spears more often than not creates her fragrances in Eau de Parfum concentration. It’s a real shame that this fragrance does not last as it would have made a wonderful Summer scent.

Hoping for a creamy peach and raspberry with some juicy apple in the background, I feel a little dissapointed…
This smells like a pack of Haribo’s Sour Mix. Sour apple and lemony juicy thing. It’s not bad if that is what you are looking for. Quite pleasant. But just not for me.. i don’t fancy sour frags.

I just happend to this today when I was at Kohls, didn’t even know about it and immediately I had to buy it.Tested it before purchasing of course and it smells pretty good long lasting citrus notes some lemon and orange not bad great for summer reminds me of going to the beach.

Got this in the mail today. It smells really good!! Nice fruity gourmand. I think it is her best one. Unfortunately, it did not work with my skin. Lasted several hours.Gorgeous bottle!!!

This is a very tropical fragrance, that’s what really comes to mind. It’s like a fruity drink by the pool or the beach. The good aspect being it’s not heave on the coconut. However, while the scent is a fun tropical fruity blast on first spray this quickly dissipates to a whisper of what once was like musky watered down dry fruit. It’s unfortunate that the staying power is so surprisingly fleeting. I do like the fragrance though I just want it to last more than 20 minutes. Then again, my skin does tend to eat perfume so maybe that’s part of it. If you like tropical creamy juicy perfumes you might enjoy this. It’s a nice addition to the range and I’d be loving it not just liking it if it lasted longer.

  26. :

    4 out of 5

I like it. I like the raspberry/peach/creamy opening and vanilla base. It’s uplifting and easy to wear. The Fantasy bottle line up is the best and this one is really beautiful. I’d love a bigger bottle of this, but at least it’s available now in 1 oz @ Kohl’s.

  27. :

    4 out of 5

Another Britney scent leaving me “meh” It’s nice but that’s it. It has the original Fantasy DNA. Very sweet. Very child-like. It smells like something that would come with a Barbie doll. Typically that would be right up my alley but something about this just doesn’t do anything for me. It smells like if you were wearing the original Fantasy and eating s raspberry tootsie pop after chugging a bottle of orange soda. You’ll probably like it if you enjoy Fantasy but I’m in the Fantasy fatigue group.
Also the bottle does not look as pretty in person. It is the same clear bottle as Island Fantasy but different colors obviously. I think it would have looked better if it were opaque. More bold.

  28. :

I finally could try that one. Sweet, but just enough, velvety, powdery, flowery, roses… That’s the impression I had. I love it!
This one is on my list. Lasted a good amount hours too. I not sure about silage but when I’ve sprayed, my hubby could smell easily from an arm distance several minutes after applying.

Sunset Fantasy is a pleasant mix of peach, berries, sweet citrus and mild powdered floral notes – I’m quite sure that peony is in the mix and maybe rose? The fragrance soon becomes milky and warm, with the cream, amber and a light vanilla note developing fairly quickly.
This is a fairly linear fragrance on me which sometimes niggles me in fragrances, but doesn’t actually bother me here. Wear-time is decent enough for a EDT, at up to six hours. It does wear pretty close to the skin, though.
Straight away Sunset Fantasy reminded me of Victoria’s Secret long-since discontinued fragrance Love Rocks, which is a perfume that you can’t find here in the UK, so that is pleasing to me.
This isn’t anything close to being original and doesn’t remind me of Fantasy at all [like the reviewer below, this reminds me more of VIP Private Show], but for a seasonal LE release that is fairly low priced and will be kept on various offers during it’s in-store run, Sunset Fantasy is a pretty good effort – if you want a cheaper more casual spring/summer option, collect Britney Spears fragrances, or want a gift option for someone, then Sunset Fantasy is worth checking out.
In the UK stores seem to sell a single bottle size, that is exclusive to them; Superdrug stores sell a 30ml bottle and it currently has £5 off the price.

I find Sunset Fantasy to be very similar to the latest Private Show VIP fragrance. It’s almost like the Britney division of EA had a leftover unused formula for VIP and instead just released it and chucked Fantasy on the front. Almost identical on my skin. Sunset can be considered more creamy, but still has a tartness of raspberry and sorbet fruits within.
Decent longevity for a toilette, around 6-7 hours on the skin. Not offensive and easy to throw on. I was hoping for more of a milky aroma but only really got creamy subdued vanilla.
Either this or VIP Private Show. They’re both very similar.
edit** I’ve been wearing this more and more lately, in a mild Australian winter and let me tell you… the longevity is astounding. It’s up there with Angel.

    I love this!!
This smells so yummy!! On me this is a delicious peachy, rapberry, light manadarin citrus with a very faint vanilla scent.
Sillage and longevity are weak to faintly moderate on me (having to reapply is fine with me!) and this is a perfect hot weather perfume.

  33. :

    5 out of 5

    I LOVE this scent.
Packaging is obviously gorgeous as well, and compliments Island Fantasy in that regard. This fragrance actually feels like what I expected of Island Fantasy.
Definitely a warmer citrus scent, which I’m not usually a fan of but is pulled off nicely here. This dries down to more of a vanilla on me.
I paid $50 for a 100 ml bottle of this from Chemist Warehouse, which is double the price of what the other flankers cost. Worth the sticker and will definitely repurchase. There needs to be a gift set for this lol

I was so excited to try this perfume, and I just tested it out at my local Kohls. Unfortunately, this is a no-go for me. For some reason, it smells almost medicinal to my nose, like the orange liquid Motrin. I have loved almost all of Britney’s scents except this one, and I am a huge Britney fan so I wanted to love this, but I just don’t. And it lasted no longer than 20 minutes on my skin. I wish this one agreed with my chemistry!!

Today i tested out the new Sunset Fantasy
The bottle is beautiful ,and i must say as the perfume has dried down on the back of my hand , so is the scent.
If your looking for a very sweet cupcakey/ berry Fantasy, this is not it.
This is totally different to any Fantasy she has done before .
Its a citrus, peach, sandlewood, amber and creamy scent. They are the stand out notes for me .
It says its has raspberry in the list of notes ,but i dont get that. Not on my skin anyway ?
The vanilla is there , but i dont find it dominant
It says its an Toilette, but its still on the back of my hand 10 hours later ,and every now and then i can get a woft of it . Maybe my skin likes it ?
I’ll be buying it for sure. Love it!

Well, I finally found a Chemist Warehouse with a tester, This fragrance has a lot going for it, but also one big minus that stopped me from buying a bottle.
THE BOTTLE: Just as cute as you would imagine. The pink and orange colours are transparent and bright.
THE SCENT: This really is great. I sprayed three generous squirts and the first thing that hit was was the citrus – like a tropical punch with a little bit of the classic fantasy scent in the background. It soon changed into a raspberry and milk fragrance with the “hot sun” note like Tom Ford’s Soliel Blanc. It then settled into a soft milk and warm sun fragrance with the original fantasy sweetness taking center stage. It really is a great sunset-y fragrance.
THE BIG DRAWBACK: You guessed it – longevity and projection. Both are definitely on the low side. It dried to a skinscent in about 30 minutes and it’s been three hours and if I press my hand to my nose I can still smell it but only just.
If Arden made this a powerhouse it would have been an absolute winner. It’s a great summer fragrance but expect to apply it on a regular basis if you want to feel the Britney Sunset love throughout the day or night.

This is just like raspberries and cream! Very delectable. Just bought this from Chemist Warehouse for $30 for the 30ml (so glad to see it’s not a hoax!) This is quite a nice addition to Britney’s Fantasy range. The dry down is very lovely, and starts off fruity but dries down to a powdery, oriental scent. The main notes I get in this are the milk froth and sandalwood (I love that she’s used Australian sandalwood!) So it has a really nice creamy/woody dry-down. Plus the raspberry is a very nice addition. The only downside is that, as predicted the sillage isn’t great, but I can still smell it on my clothes and on my wrist. I will definitely buy another bottle once I’m finished. Britney can do no wrong!

Saw this in Chemist Warehouse Australia today for $49.95 for the 100ml bottle. Unfortunately there was no tester at the particular store I was at. Will try again at a different Chemist Warehouse. Will review when I find a tester.

  40. :

    4 out of 5

Its in chemist warehouse Australia it is very real but selling very cheap I expect the lasting power to be rubbish. I will test it didnt have time today but will have a look during the week. Her latest fantasies dont last so they are more like body spray to me probably why they sell so cheap.

  41. :

    3 out of 5

Are people really saying that? Just a quick Google shows me it’s on sale at Frankfurt Airport website and Heinemann-shop . com for 20.90 euro 100ml and that’s only the 1st page.
So at least this isn’t the Aquolina Luna Park bullshit with marketing a fragrance that doesn’t exist. I wonder how this rumor started??

  42. :

    4 out of 5

I’m super happy she went back to the traditional fantasy bottle designs rather than the modern designs she used for Maui and In Bloom fantasy bottles. Without the beautiful rhinestones on the fantasy bottles, it isn’t as pretty or unique…and is what makes Fantasy so iconic. The last perfume to have the rhinestones on the bottle was Intimate Fantasy (2015). The fragrance sounds like something I’d wear. From the notes, it seems like Sunset Fantasy will have a similarity with Circus Fantasy (2009) as there are some similar notes such as Raspberry and Vanilla. But with the combination of other new notes, this fragrance could be something totally unique!
When this comes out in my country (may not come out till early 2018 as it takes almost forever for us to get new perfumes), I will most definitely give this a smell and a purchase. I will continue my review when I get a decent idea and opinion on Sunset Fantasy.

@Maryjuan If you are looking for a “Christmas” Fantasy flanker, I don’t think you can go wrong with Hidden Fantasy. Most everyone across the board agrees this IS the smell of a childhood Christmas in a bottle…orange, almond, clove and Napolitano cake…smells very rich like a mulled wine with citrus. You can snag bottles of Hidden for less than $15 USD all over the internet. Best wishes, hope this helps! ❤️

Original Fantasy is one of my all time favorite scents and I love the flankers, but still I’m starting to get little bit sick of these Fantasy flankers. Anyone else? There are so many of them. I would love to smell third Private Show or brand new scent.
But I’m not gonna lie, this sounds so yummy and of course I’m gonna buy this because it’s Britney. I love all of her fragrances.
I also love that they put the crystals back. It looks prettier that way.

Am I the only one who thinks that Britney should do like a “holiday / Christmas” fantasy edition? Still using gourmand notes but incorporate cinnamon-ish ones? Don’t get me wrong… I absolutely LOVE Britney’s fragrances but I’m ready for a more mature Fantasy version. Come on Britney, surprise us!
