Description

SUNRISE IN CADAQUÈS, the new Salvador Dalí women’s fragrance, is an invitation to the heart of Dalí’s surreal universe.

This Eau de Toilette is inspired by the exceptional magic and light of Cadaquès, a small Spanish fishing port on the coast of the Mediterranean known throughout the world as “Dalí’s village” that appears in a number of his works.

Salvador Dalí lived here with Gala for many years, attracting a number of artists and personalities that came from all over the world to visit them in their incredible home.
“In this privileged place the real and the sublime almost meet. My mystical paradise starts on the plains of the Empordà, surrounded by the Les Alberes hills, and reaches plenitude in Cadaquès Bay. This landscape is my ongoing inspiration.” -Salvador Dalí

SUNRISE IN CADAQUÈS is the contemporary olfactory interpretation of their moments of happiness and fulfillment: it is easy to imagine Dalí and Gala contemplating the sunrise at dawn, inhaling the vivifying scent of the dew, casting an eye over the lush surroundings as nature awakens and delicately begins to grow warm…

A moment of grace expressed by this sunny, elegant fragrance with a number of facets: fresh and warm, intimate and joyful, sensuous and timeless.

SUNRISE IN CADAQUÈS is an ode to life, femininity and continually renewed beauty.

A captivating, vibrant feminine Eau de Toilette that subtly combines the contrasting softness and luminous energy of the nature of Cadaquès that peacefully awakens at sunrise.
The composition opens on a truly refreshing top note: a charmingly feminine, spicy citrus bouquet of mandarin, bergamot, elemi and pink peppercorns.

These spices warm up the soft, deeply floral heart of iris and jasmine and the sunny, spicy facet of immortelle flower and the powdery facet of heliotrope. The very warm, sensuous base notes of the composition are centered around musk, patchouli, labdanum and balsam of Peru which extend the refined, deliciously addictive signature of this fragrance. The radiant scent of SUNRISE IN CADAQUÈS asserts a sunny, natural and elegant femininity.

The luminous bottle of SUNRISE IN CADAQUÈS immediately evokes the sun slowly emerging over the sea. Its translucent gradation of warm, lively colors – orange, pink and blue – illustrates the magical moment when the fiery orb releases its first rays of light, sending a magnificent multicolor palette across the sky.

With its feminine oval shape, the bottle is also a subtle reference to the famous “Dalinian eggs” that overhang the surrealist master’s home in Cadaquès. This femininity is accentuated by the famous mouth sculpted at the center of the bottle, which asserts itself joyfully and sensuously.

The elegant clear round stopper filters the colored reflection of the bottle.

The sunny box features the same gradation of sunrise colors in a pretty harmony of orange, pink and blue. Like a Dalinian seal, a small raised white design in the shape of an egg appears on the front of the box.Eau de Toilette spray, 100ml, 50ml, 30ml. Sunrise in Cadaquès was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Vincent Ricord.

I must entirely agree with #littlebee Sunrise in Cadaques = Elle (in the beginning) + Eau de Merveilles (the end – like a doppelganger).

    Sweet oranges.
orange blossoms, elemi, lime, heliotrope, & patchouli. I can’t really detect jasmines, but i detect some balsamic.
    Very commercial.

It’s for women? Really? All I can sense is a strong, very masculine scent. Smells like wood, musk and palsamic notes together.
I can’t stand it, it’s so terribly strong and masculine.

I’m starting to love it. For me it’s a mix of my beloved Eau Des Merveilles and a few drops of Elle edp. Marvellous, but unfortunately very weak…

Fruity at first, quite balsamic later. It’s nice, but too oriental for me. It’s a shame, because the bottle is a beauty that in reality it’s even prettier because light comes through it in an amazing way.
