I’m a guy and have been wearing this non-stop for a couple of weeks. It doesn’t come across feminine I don’t think. I was trying to find something that smells similar to Philosophy Christmas Cookie body wash, since Philosophy doesn’t make a body spritz for it. This is in the ball park.
I does fade sorta fast and become a skin scent on me, but I still do really like it. It smells like a sugar cookie at first then on me it fades to a more just sugary scent and not so much a cookie thing then. But I wear it for me more so than for others. I don’t care if it’s not a masculine scent, I have plenty of those already.

Natalie, you are probably anosmic to Sugar Cookie, some note, perhaps an overdosae of sugar triggered the anosmia.Sometimes after asome (many) tries of the perfume the anosmia lifts up but sometimes it doesn’t and you never smell the aroma. Happens a lot to me.

Maybe the small bottle actually has a smell. I just got the big one from FragranceNet (Ebay), and I cannot even smell it. 3 sprays shirt & chest. Nothing. Not even worth $20, it’s going back. Someone compared it to Aquolina, that scent knocks me over & I don’t care for it. This is “water”. No.

One of my real favorite scents! It’s incredibly sweet and I get compliments on it all the time (especially from men). It really envelopes me in a wonderfully, decadently sweet aroma! Love, love, love!!!

I agree not sugar cookie smelling to me. I do like it though and think its pretty nice. I think its kinda cinnamony smelling.

So I had this one for about a day but I had to get rid of it because it didn’t smell like sugar cookies to me, or even cookies. It smelled like it was trying a tiny bit, but just ended up smelling sweet and like a cheap abstract candy scent, like worse than the most recent rendition of Warm Vanilla Sugar from B&BW. I promise you I am not being a hater just to hate. I wasted my money and I don’t want you to do the same.
I was stressed out the day I bought it and badly wanting a comforting vanilla scent, but no matter how hard I stretched my imagination, I just couldn’t make Sugar Cookie into what I wanted it to be.
If I could do it all again, I would get a rollerball of Hanae Mori instead. Same price only HM delivers the desired result: a perfume evocative of delightful confections, sweet and uplifting, and long lasting to boot.

I ordered this in the splash. At first, I must say I was really put off by it! I found it powdery, flat, bland, and not exactly sweet. I was expecting super duper vanillary sweet sugary cookie. I did not get that. Upon trying it a second time, I am not as put off. I don’t “dislike” it anymore, but I don’t like it either. Perhaps it is the “wheat” note that I find so bland. It just doesn’t work for me. Very soft and not long lasting in the splash form either. It seems that I’m the only reviewer who finds it this way though…. possibly an off batch?

Sometimes I like to try the Demeter scents just for fun. Every now and then you need a little Sunday Funday just for giggles scent, and Demeter fragrances usually fit the bill. I have a few of them, but this one is my favorite by far!
I am a fan of the gourmand sugar scents in general, and Aquolina Pink Sugar is one of my all time favorites, but this one has a little something that just “one up’s” Pink Sugar in that Pink Sugar is very linear, this one has a little dimension. It almost seems to get warmer as the day goes on, like when you’re baking cookies in the oven and the smell intensifies, then it softens into a light light floral sugar by the end of the day. I love to wear this on dates to the movies because when my date leans over to whisper, I smell better than the candy he’s eating!
Also, my puppy sleeps on my bed, so this is my favorite fragrance to put on the top of her little head where I kiss her goodnight. Could anything be better than a puppy (and her owner) that smell like sugar cookies????

I had this in Junior High School. I absolutely loved it. It was buttery, and sweet, and actually smelled warm and golden, like cookies fresh from the oven. Not really a perfume at all…just something that made me smell like a cookie.
I’ll never forget the day it went crashing to the floor and the neck of the bottle completely cracked off. I tried to save it, but it was no use. I didn’t have anything else to put it in. Bye-bye Lovely Cookie Smell.

Ok, so smelling like a baked treat might not sound pleasing to everyone. But it sounds really amazing to me! I had never smelled this before I ordered it and I had pretty high expectations for this fragrance and let me tell you something… it went beyond what I expected. This really DOES smell like baked sugar cookies. It’s nice and sugary but soft and warm smelling as well, it’s just lovely!

Just got my Virtual Delights package and am very thrilled with it. I’m going to give away Brownie as a present, I did like Graham Cracker, but Sugar Cookie is my favorite. Yes there are some flowers going on in all that sweetness which gives it a nice touch. Kudos Demeter!

WOW! I guess I’m the first to review :o)
Well Sugar Cookie really surprised me. I wasn’t expecting such a lovely vanilla. And yes…it smells like a real sugar cookie, but not in a childish way. There is a baby powder accord to it as well. This I think is what makes it different. It’s actually very feminine and I almost think I smell some florals in the mix as well. My only complaint is that some perfume leaked in the box. So I lost a couple of ml’s from my 4 oz bottle.
This is a delectable keeper! I’m happy.
P.S. The silage on this is amazing… I sprayed this on at 7:30 am and it is now 9:22 pm and I can still smell it on my wrists!
Also reminds me of Aquolina Pink Sugar.
