Oh, wow. I used to love this scent. It reminded me of the scent of Strawberry Shortcake Dolls. This reminded me of my younger sister and I playing with dolls. Well, at least the top notes. It started off Strawberry/red fruit & vanilla on me. After a while, it developed into a more red-juicy floral on me. Oh! I think the “plastic” note is something to do with mixing currant, & vanilla. In any case, It always settled out after 20 minutes on me.
I’m pretty certain I’d hate this now that I’m older. But, it was the best thing ever when I was 19.

I just loved this oil, my sister wore this in the early 90s. To me it smelled like straight up strawberry, nothing else. Sadly discontinued.

OMG this looks gorgeous, i definitely want to try this…i have one strawberry scent but it is way too sweet. Looks like this one is balanced out with floral notes

for those days when you really want to smell like strawberry hubba-bubba and pretend you are ten again 🙂

I use to have this fragrance in high school. Everybody loved it, but Body Shop stopped selling them in Western Australia. And now at 30, after the hundreds of perfumes I have tried, this strawberry oil stayed on the best and kept its notes the whole day. I’d really like to use it again. Any idea where I could purchase it now, or anything very similar???

I wore this for a few years while at University, but never by itself. I layered it with the coconut perfume oil. Men seemed to enjoy this combination of scent. I also layered fuzzy peach oil – my favourite! – with the vanilla oil. The fuzzy peach had a herbal spiciness to it, reminded me of marijuana sometimes, which I loved, since I’ve always found the scent of marijuana appealing as long as it’s from a distance! I miss fuzzy peach so much!

Hmmm such a sweet candy-like strawberry smell, with a dash of fruity notes which created the perfect balance between sweet and fruity. Lsted for hours and a true feel good scent. Why is it that the bodyshop discontinue so many of my favorites? However they bring out new, icky ones? That end up in the sale?

Another one The Body Shop have decided to discontinue along with the vanilla oil & coconut oil. This is a candy sweet strawberry, it is truely delicious & turns guys weak at the knees! Bring it back Body Shop!!

Classic body shop smell.
This smells is almost impossible to dislike unless it messes with you body chemistry some how.
On me I get that synthetic black cherry candle smell, lucky for me I love that.
No man in the world of any age is going to dislike you smelling of this oil perfume.
Yummy!

I don’t really in to musk n flowery fragrances for me they are too sweet n flowery. I prefer to simple, fruity n mood booster kinda perfume. However this strawberry scent is special though it’s sweet the berries mix add sensual mood. It really makes me feel I am delicious. One of my favo perfume,,

I had this oil perfume back in the ’90s, when I was a student. The Body shop perfumes and cosmetics were the only that I could afford then.
I remember it being exactly like a strawberry and nothing more.
I see now that it has changed. It was a very nice, happy and of course inoffensive smell.
I liked it a lot then.

? want to eat it! also my boyfriend wants to eat me when i wear it!

To be absoloutely honest, I’m not wearing the Body Shop Strawberry oil. I am wearing Spiritual Sky Strawberry Oil which is natural and does not have any of the plastic notes of the Body Shop oil.
I’ve been complimented on my perfume when wearing it, and here in Oz, it only costs around $8, which is amazing when compared with the french fragrances I covet.
I believe my Strawberry oil has a place in my fragrance wardrobe and I love to wear it when I’m dressed in my casual jeans and sweater.
Spiritual Sky are’nt listed on your site and I chose the nearest thing, being Body Shop oil.

I had a schoolfriend who wore this in the 80s.
She was a bit of a ‘sex bomb’.
I could never understand why anyone would want to smell like a strawberry.
alexeyey – :
This is a no nonsense, no frills….fake strawberry smell that’s got an edge of plastic to it…and a bit of wood.
I effing love it!
nazar_fag – :
I have some original bottles of this I dont know if the formula has changed but I always loved it. Great to mix with TBS vanilla or on its own, its not a totally sweet sickening strawberry either. Its just right.
max88882008 – :
Oh my! I’m searching for something nice to say but to be totally honest – this one’s a stinker.
Heaps of icky flowers & then fake strawberries?! Even Strawberry Shortcake would go running for the hills….really, really nasty. Not my cup of tea 🙁

I don’t understand why a “Strawberry” oil needs to have florals, etc added to it.
The Body Shop oils used to be much better – pure fragrances that smelt exactly like they were supposed to. They’re not the same as they used to be. Thumbs down from me.
