Description
We are in the ancient Kingdom of Sicily: “the land of Vespers and oranges” (from the song I Cento Passi by the Modena City Ramblers), the scene of romantic and heroic deeds, the inspiration for novels, poems, songs and euphoric fragrances.
This land, impregnated with history and different cultures, full of contradictions and ambiguities, has generated the two new fragrances by NOBILE1942.

Silver, male, opens with an inebriating trilogy of citrus fruit, reaches a peak with aromas evoking courage, pride and deep-rooted passions, and ends with a decidedly woody harmony, a seal of strength and determination, refined with hints of amber that give the whole an enfolding – and overwhelming – sensuality.
The nose behind this fragrance is Marie Duchene.

In my ongoing love affair with Nobile 1942, I bought this blind, as I wasn’t able to get a sample of it anywhere. I based my purchase on the description, reviews, and the quality of everything I’ve experienced from this line, and SUCCESS! (Whew!)
This fragrance has a beautiful bright citrus with a warm sophistication underneath. The citrus is more obvious at first, then it settles in with the other notes, and blends into a warmer version of citrus (if that makes sense?). I can definitely smell the amber and the sandalwood coming through. It is a lovely, subtle touch of summer beauty. It gives a delightfully clean, self-assured and positive feeling. For me this is the perfect warm summer day fragrance.
This is my first and only citrus fragrance, and I couldn’t be more pleased with it. It smells and feels wonderful. It’s more subtle than some other of the Nobile 1942 fragrances, but definitely there. It’s sort of as “there” as it needs to be. A clean, fresh beauty.

It is another creation for the line of supreme fragrances (fragranza suprema) with EDP concentration, from this Italian House, that I love everyday more.
It brings notes of Calabrian bergamot, Sicilian lemon, grapefruit and yellow Mandarin, in its output. The heart contains notes of Brazilian Orange, Indian jasmine, neroli, petitgrain from Paraguay, Artemisia (wormwood) and red berries. The base is composed of sandalwood, benzoin from Siam, oakmoss, amber wood and patchouli.
The output is rich and essentially citric, typical from Italian scents that cherish the natural aspect of the citrus fruits such as lemon and bergamot. In fact, the bergamot is sovereign in this part of evolution.
About 20 minutes after application, the heart gains another color and the green nuances of the start give place to the energy and vibration of the orange color, with great presence of petitgrain and a bitter touch of wormwood. And even with the passage of time, the scent remains the same, linear and without big surprises. From its base, my olfactory sense only feels a little of oakmoss. Furthermore, the fragrance exudes no longer like before, although still alive on the skin.
I think it is a delicious scent for hot days. And I assure that can be also worn by men.

A very ladylike cologne with a weighted richness that smells like good looks and appropriate manners. It’s not a cheap cologne but it’s at least good.It starts with a grapefruit blast, but soon jasmine mellows the citrus, with a leafy green sweetnes. At the base you can find traces of sandalwood with a gummy spicy scent
