Lovely lavender in lots of layers.
ljijkmhososmlalqe – :
I’d like to first thank Svensk Parfym for the opportunity to test their first six fragrances.
Stilla opens on me as a lovely, authentic grey-purple lavender. Its gritty, aromatic earthiness, and its resinous sweetness are beautifully displayed in the front, while the squeaky clean, metallic aspects – the kind of interpretations of lavender that I struggle with, is nowhere to be found in Stilla.
The icing on the cake though, is a light touch of eucalyptus. It’s finely tuned so that it will not sound the medicinal alarm, but enough to evoke the passing feeling of a cool breeze on an early morning,
About 1 hour in, the initial focus on the lavender starts to blur, as the dry woody base and a steamy, clean white musk permeate the lavender field like a morning fog. As the lavender gradually loses its herbal shimmer and becomes dehydrated, its hay-like dry aromaticness weaves seamlessly into the almost incense-like, grey-coloured dry woods.
Stilla then maintains this aromatic, incense-tinted dry woods and nebulous, silver clean musk for the remainder of the 9-hour longevity. At times, I almost crave for something to pop up, to add a bit of ripple to this tranquil lake of white musk with floating aromatic wood log. But at the same time, it does interprets “stillness” successfully. I get a moderate to soft sillage with Stilla.
After smelling all of the first six releases from Svensk Parfym, I find most of them focus on primarily one accord, but care is taken to showcase them in a vibrant way. Moreover, the transition from the opening to the base takes place smoothly and in an incremental manner, as if the camera gradually moves out of focus. Stilla incarnates this aesthetic perfectly, and this results to a relative linear yet naturalistic fragrance that is easy to appreciate without being boring.
What I appreciate the most in Stilla is its vivid lavender. Not only does it avoid the “masculine sports fragrance” cliché, but also refrains from being too clean and too sweet for my taste like Penhaligon’s Lavandula and Chanel Jersey did. Its light touch of the usually polarising eucalyptus is also interesting. I believe Stilla manages to present this note in an approachable way without taking away its personality. I would definitely recommend it to those who are on a lavender quest, or to those who would like a clean aromatic skin scent.
Taigr – :
it is lavender! but lavender have so many layers so i see know problem with that. peppery and crisp and energising, in the top noted. more calming in the base notes.
It is almost like essential lavender oil to me.
it is easy wear like all “Svenk Parfym”.
simvanya – :
Nope. I sadly don’t feel the lavender at all. And this really saddens me because I actually LOVE lavender so much! But instead, it smells exactly like the mosquito repellent you can get here in Sweden. And I hate that smell… Makes me think of wet fields, tents and too many mosquito bites. Cause yeah, that repellent doesn’t work very well. I’ll be giving my sample away.
ephenceguipse – :
This is such a beautifully refined scent! It opens with a sharp blast of lavender accompanied by a hint of eucalyptus that keeps it on the naturalistic end of the scale, rather than the soapy. It’s like crushing a lavender leaf in your palm.
Drying down, the edges are smoothed out and on me it becomes something like a luxurious classic cologne; there are soft woods, something citrusy, and to me there is definitely some juniper in the mix ( possibly it’s the eukalyptus blending with the wood).
Good longevity and moderate silage on me. Overall an artistically blended scent that smells luxe. It is soft though so might not be for lovers of powerhouse scents.

Lovely lavender<3 Soothing and nostalgic scent. Bringing back memories from my childhood, grandma had small fabric bags with lavender in her wardrobe to prevent moths invading her furs:D The drydown is similar to D&Gs Light Blue, woody and maybe a bit masculine. Over all a very clean and longlasting scent.
CEH9 – :
Ok. On me it starts like a wet cloth that has been in the sink for 2 days, that lasts for 1 min…And then it dries out and leaves this clean scent of lavendel and something woodsy…Very pleasant. But a little bit boring for MY taste. But for a shy, chic person or someone who doesn’t want a scent that is noticeable…A little clean sheet smelling…Those you pick in after they have dried one more time after the rain kind of scent….
yuriii – :
It reminds me a bit of a classical cologne mixed with a cold, frosty morning. Lavender is not a favorite note of mine (it reminds me of my moms and grandmothers love for making these scent-bags with a piece of cloth and dried lavendel in it) but I can appreciate it in Stilla. I bet Stilla is a good choice of perfume when you really need to feel freshed up or when you have a hard time waking up in the morning.
🙂

This one made me think about `Pulp Fiction´, in the sense that I had to try it a couple of times to “get” it. Now its a straight forward eucalyptus/lavender-driven perfume, but it goes through a transformation from… not plain, but meek, and becomes quite luxurious in its drydown. It´s medicinal (which I like) as the euca/lavender gets hit by the musk and a little citrusy at first, smells nice, but again, it´s the drydown, with the arrival of the woods, that does it for me, as it transforms into this classic fougeré-type of umptious luxury. I get good longevity (8+ hours) with no more than an arms sillage.
mashasila30 – :
I spray this on and immidiately I’m awake. The lavender is sharp at the start but the eucalyptus is wonderful, clean and bright.
After a few hours the scent has toned down and it’s now that I understand that I really love this scent. The musk and wood combined with the soft lavender is just beautiful.
Stilla is a bit on the masculine side but it fits me like a glove.
Both longivity and sillage is great and still after ten hours the eucalyptus lingers on my skin. 10/10
rlj981InsuffBooni – :
I love this one! I’m a huge lavender fan and this is one of the best lavenders I’ve had the pleasure of trying. It reminds me a lot of Chanel Exclusifs Jersey. In my mind, it’s lightly blue/lavender and so, so soft. A little tiny bit of eucalyptus sneaks up but it’s mostly just glorious lavender (and for that I’m grateful). Decidedly bottle-worthy!
apy042Bessinepome – :
For me Stilla is an absolute bomb 🙂 Great Eucalyptus aroma and woody notes surrounded by lavender and musk. These perfumes are so relaxing that they just fall apart.
The persistence on my skin lasts up to 8 hours. Projection at the shoulder.
I recommend for amateurs of wood notes. They are well composed.
mebelsoft – :
This lavender is as close as you could get to “real” lavender, by that I mean standing outside surrounded by this lovely smelling flowers. It starts off so pure you could almost believe you’re strolling around, touching the lavender field with your hands. For me lavender is extremely calming, so this was very comforting, like a warm blanket for my soul. After about 30 minutes I start to feel the woody notes, slowly growing for another 30 minutes and peaks about an hour after application. Unfortunately, the lavender and the woody notes together turned to masculine on my skin. Don’t get me wrong – I usually wear fragrances adressed to men (in those cases it isn’t an unisex fragrance ofc), but it just felt like it wasn’t me wearing this fragrance, like it belonged to a man in my near surrounding. And it is truly beautiful, I think I would love to smell this on my man.
Fact is I’m going to BEG my boyfriend to wear this – I think the feeling smelling him in it would be like; if the love I feel from him and the warmth, safe place that feeling transports me to had a scent – it would smell like this. Just love.
Great longevity, moderate sillage. Suits this fragrance very well. This is a truly quality piece, well done Lestréus.
sha-kagarmanov – :
Clear and natural lavender, eucalyptus, musc and wood! Stillnes and serenity! This is pure love!
gogatrax – :
I really don’t do either lavender or eucalyptus. I just don’t. In a different context, sure, but not in a perfume. Lavender always gets too masculine for my liking on my skin. Therefore, I was not expecting to like Stilla, and I was quite taken aback.
It opens with a strong blast of the above mentioned notes. This is where it could have gone wrong for me, but the notes are so well rounded. What could have been too strong has been given some kind of a soft edge.
The lavender stays through the dry down, becomes egen more soft as it mingles with the wood and the musk. It becomes a tranquil scent that I would be happy to take to bed with me. All in all a beautiful scent, lavender interpreted in a way I haven’t seen before. Well worth a try egen though you’re not a lavender fan.
aymetik – :
I can’t analyse scents like others here, but a review of this in a parfumista group made me want to say that I enjoy this one as well. Svensk parfym’s fragrances stand out by being seemingly simple and I really appreciate them. Will probably buy the discovery set when I can.
Salutden – :
First impression of Stilla is a portrait of Swedish trees. The combination of lavender and eukalyptus smells like fir and pine needles. After a while a smooth and pleasant lavender remains. A tranquil and straightforward scent.
Vasiljev1972 – :
As stated by Mooniq this scent feels very unisex. I really liked the Eucalyptus at the top, wished it would’ve lasted a bit longer though. Lavender takes over after a while, a clean lavender hand-in-hand with clean musk. I can’t detect the lavender in the dry-down. It’s almost as it’s just the musk that managed to stay with me. Oh, but wait! I think that I also can sense the woody notes. It’s lovely, easy to like. But my favorite is still Prakt. Nevertheless, I really liked this one as well.
ArtNika – :
A strong blast of lavender and eucalyptus at first, and those two notes are the most prominent throughout the composition. I find this to be the one of the three scents from Svensk Parfym which is leaning the most on the masculine side. A very well crafted lavender scent, with moderate projection and good longevity.
To me, not too complex or groundbreaking, but its charm lies in its simplicity, and the confidence that superior raw materials give.
This is not “just another lavender scent”, far from it. And if you don´t believe me, try it!
Magdalena553 – :
A very nice unisex-scent. On my skin I get soft and sweet Lavender & Woodsy notes. Thats it. Better in cold weather, I think.
En trevlig Unisex-doft. På min hud får jag Lavender och tränoter, bara det, inget annat. Tror den funkar bäst i kyligare väder.
serko84 – :
Starts with a strong but pleasant lavender scent and quite soon the woodsy notes join in the mix. I like it and the longevity is great but the silliage was soft on me. Altogether a very classy scent that I enjoyed a lot.
Piligrim97 – :
It starts with a bold lavender that feels very natural and smells exactly like freshly picked lavender. It has the same realistic feeling and top quality as the lavender in Antiheros from Etat Libre d’Orange, but Antiheros is more green and rough while Stilla starts very rough but then quickly turns softer and more calm and beautiful.
The lavender is then paired with eucalyptus, that somehow makes the fragrance more alert without breaking the calm feeling.
A little later there is also a musky wood appearing that makes the fragrance more sturdy or what I should say. It also takes away some of the soft/calm feeling. The wood really fits in perfectly and makes this beautiful fragrance even better than it already was.
sanja71 – :
A mild scent of lavender and wood takes my mind on a trip to Alvastra conventruins herbgarden when the lavender blooms in the last beam of the eveningsun.
The lavender is there without beeing to intrusive.
Stilla makes me feel calm and safe.
To compose a scent as Stilla with so few notes take a good nose.
deman_59 – :
This does not work very well on my skin. All I get is a one dimensional Lavender and indeed it becomes silent very quickly. The scent smells nice but too much quietness for my liking
aizmail – :
Lavender lavender lavender and musk.
Really not my cup of tea.
But after half an hour it starts to please me a bit more.
The dry down is the best part of it.
6.0/10

Just received my 5ml sample and I must say, I am not a massive fan of lavender but this nice is the most natural fresh envigorating scent I have came across.. it’s sort of sweet fresh spicy sexiness.. I can’t wait to try the other two. This is going to be a huge success!! Very inpressed with the speedy delivery too, ordered on wednesday and got it today and it came from Sweden! Does anyone know if you can leave feedback? Thanks

I’m really curious about this fragrance. Maybe I’ll love it. Truly need a sample of this. Where can I buy this ?
wawan1960 – :
This is a beautiful lavendel/eucalyptus. In my opinion it totally lacks the heady sweetness and heavy floral notes usually displayed in lavender perfumes. I think this is a very calming soothing comforting scent. The eucalyptus gives a clear energising touch too. The scent strikes me as a unique crystal clear, dry woody, floral, white musk. I must say I appreciate its dry woody notes that lingers and lingers as the hours goes by. The scent changes nicely over time in a very pleasant way. I have worn this fragrance a couple of times on both casual and formal occasions and it does its work well. Looking forward to try this more. Longevity is +8 hrs. Good sillage.

Lets get things straight. Im not a lavender fan. Most lavender scents tend to get that soapy, old school barbershop vibe and i really dont like it.
Stilla from Svensk Parfym takes you on a journey where the scent evolves and reveals new layers along the way.
The scent focuses around the note of freshly cut lavender.
A spray of Stilla effortlesly conjures the illusion of freshly picked lavender in the cool, crisp morning air. The crisp opening comes from clever use of eucalyptus that really boosts the natural freshness of the lavender.
I dont know how, but i get absolutely NONE of the negatives iv’e come to expect from lavender. For me this is lavender heaven!
Give Stilla some time and when the fresh opening settles the scent reveals a different side with notes of woods, lemongrass and orange peel.
This is a quality scent that evolves and surprises you as you wear it and its probably my favourite fragrance from Svensk Parfyms.
