Quince, honey suckle and pink pepper -in this order- are very prominent to my nose. It’s a soft, feminine scent, too soft for my liking. I prefer the original.

Although I like the original Stash because its quite different I just couldn’t wear it as it made me feel nauseous. Stash unspoken is ok. Yes it does smell coconutty and a bit sweet. It’s certainly not my favourite scent though. It’s not really unique. I’m just not getting any vibes from it. It could be a body spray and nothing more. Or it could be Pledge furniture polish!! There’s just something missing or it just isn’t put together right. I feel the same about the Twilight trio of fragrances as well. They’re just not good enough.

Original Stash is such a big scent, almost ’80s big. Unspoken is definelty in a different key but is does have some of.the basic structure of the original.
I actually love it but it does not last very long on my skin. I will have to try some of the longevity tricks to see if that helps.

This is wonderful! This is a dreamy, soft woody-white floral that smells unique in a good way. I found longevity and projection to be good, even with just a spritz. I can see this working well through the seasons, too. It’s warm and creamy, but not overbearing at all. This doesn’t smell cheap or artificial like a lot of celeb scents, but given the (well-deserved) success of the original Stash, I’m not surprised.

Woody, creamy, with a token floral that smells like jasmine to my nose and I get quite a lot of coconut in the opening, reminds me of a concentrated version of Pure Crush! It has a creamy sweet woody drydown heavy on the Coumarin….also additional Ambroxan? Very basic and likeable non offensive fragrance.

This reminded me a bit of Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess.

This is adorable. I love Stash, Covet and Lovely. Tried NYC Pure Crush as wanted something more fruity and fun but found that overwhelming and cloying.
This is the fun fruity fragrance I wanted. It also reminds me of the ocean and wet grass or wet leaves, which is probably something in my body chemistry. Like a warm bakery a little as well. Overall really warm and soft but fresh and not sickly.

This is what I’d imagine the love child of Gucci Guilty and Lacoste pour Femme would smell like. After a brief whiff of coconut in the opening it settles into a pink peppery floral on a base of woods that I find similar to the suede accord in Lacoste. And the combination of the wisteria and honeysuckle produces something that is reminiscent of the peppery lilac in Guilty. Overall, this is pretty, and somewhat formal. It is far far afield from the original Stash. This one won’t make it into my wardrobe but it’s nice!

After the first blast of peppery, spicy wood and tonka bean hit, TO MY SURPRISE, Stash Unspoken revealed its true beauty in a very opposite and attractive smell of sweet, juicy quince and honey suckle. I sprayed it on my wrist at Ulta and immediately “discarded” the scent as it was just a “meh” spiciness, nothing that I haven’t smelled before. I got in the car and drove away. Five minutes after I took off, the scent developed and I started smelling something very feminine and pleasant to my nose, completely different than the opening. The spicy, peppery wood and tonka bean had calmed down a lot and became a comforting warm tone, supporting the delicate quincy, juicy flowers. What a game change it was for Unspoken and I. I enjoyed the dry down a lot and could not stop sniffing my wrist after that. So I turned my car around and stepped back inside Ulta, happily purchased a bottle.
There is nothing groundbreaking about Stash Unspoken, but its surprised development on my skin kept drawing me back to it. For that interesting effect, I think it is worth it.
I also tested Burberry Brit For Her on that same day and prefer Stash Unspoken much better for its dry down compared to Brit. They share some similarities, but Unspoken has a brighter dry down and has more oposite uniqueness within itself, compared to Brit. Like I mentioned above, Unspoken strongly surprised me enough to buy a bottle.

This fragrance is absolutely spectacular. The first time I tried it, it had a very odd sparkly tonka type feel to it and I absolutely loved it. The second time, after buying it, the sparkle was gone. I was initially disappointed, but I was so impressed by the balsamic and woody dry down. It holds nothing in common with the original Stash, but it doesn’t really need to. It’s in the same family, but there’s no resemblaance. I think this is truly value for money at $30 for 100mL – you can’t really do better than that.
Listed in the notes is also wisteria – bizarre, uncommon in celebrity scents, but it is there and it does translate well.

We should play a drinking game and take a shot every time someone mentions SJP’s old practice of combining scents and two shots every time the Chandler Burr book is mentioned.

Oh, it’s funny (as in ironic funny, not haha funny) to me to see this compared to Katy Perry’s Indi..to me, the ‘original’ Stash reminds me of Indi (and oddly enough, I love Indi, I did not care for the original Stash..)…Anyhoo..
Stash Unspoken is lovely. Soft, subtly sweet, a bare hint of woodiness, and so lightly balsamic. I agree with the reviewer that there is a slight creaminess to this. I would never guess this to be a celeb scent, this smells almost like a niche or high end fragrance. Strain to sniff as I try, I can’t pick apart the notes, so this is nicely blended. Has sort of a cozy scent about this. Reminds me of something my mom might have worn when I was a child, so this is not overly sweet at all. Not a candy bomb like many celeb fragrances, and not cloying at all like many celeb fragrances. My only (minor and really trivial) complaint is the bottle..a cheap looking label that looks like it might fall off if the wind was to blow past it, lol. But regardless, to me it’s what the scent is that counts, and this is lovely. I do pick up a soft musk note as this dries down some 2 hours after applying, but by no means is this ‘musky’ to me..the notes are still blended nicely to me on the dry down.
I see this voted as mainly Spring and Summer, but in all honesty, I would wear this in the Fall, as well (even the Wintertime). There is just a soft coziness about this to my nose.

I can’t wait to get my grubby hands on a bottle of this!! So far just smelled it on the paper strip and rubbed it all over my wrists, smells gorgeous, even my puppy likes it! Will give a more complete review after I buy a bottle. So far it’s looking (smelling) really good!!

SJP has redeemed herself after the original Stash which in my opinion is just gross. I have no idea what she was thinking other than that I can appreciate it’s uniqueness. This smells a big like Brit I agree. It’s a peppery floral and I enjoy wearing it.

A lovely warm, balsamic perfume that would be great for everyday use.
Can’t decipher individual notes with this one but it’s very peppery. I personally prefer this to Lovely

A really nice everyday type scent. I actually am loving this. It is “mainstream” for sure. Easy to wear. I really like the bottle too.It is also a skin scent, rather quickly.I find this a soothing, calming scent, even tho the first spritz comes of harsh-ish, but this passes quickly. I do get the underlying quince/peony notes in the middle. Has a little “twang” too. All in all a nice springy scent.

Went to sniff this at Ulta, it sounded gorgeous! I adore Stash and Lovely, and had high hopes. It’s nice – sweet and fruity. But as it dried down and I walked around sniffing my arm, the scent became familiar. It was driving me nuts – what was it?? Then it came to me: this is a dead ringer for BURBERRY’S BRIT! Yep, not really similar notes on paper, but it sure is close!
The only thing, to my nose, that distinguishes this from Brit is a ripe mango-y note – probably the quince.

I’ve only just blind bought this (it’s SJP I had to), so I’m only just spraying it for the first time. On first impressions, it’s very light, slightly floral and mildly balsamic. I like it. It’s nice but I can’t yet comment on longevity or dry down. I do agree that if you weren’t into Stash cos you found it too spicy (I adore Stash!), that this would be a more toned down, lighter version. Where Stash is the smoky eyeliner, unspoken is a nude matt lip.

I’m a huge Stash fan and was really waiting for this one to arrive here in Australia. On first spray it does smell ever so slightly like the original Stash, but has more floral and creamy notes. Like Stash, it’s a little bit niche-y but not to the point where it won’t have mass appeal.
What is does smell like after the dry down is Jennifer Aniston’s Chapter 1. Seriously! I reviewed that one a couple of weeks ago and this is near identical to my nose.
Although other posters have commented that it disappears quickly I could still smell it after a day at work and only two sprays.

I love this, smells so creamy and beautiful. I bought a small bottle from Ulta, and returned it because it just disappeared on me. I wore it for a few days to try it and unfortunately I could not smell it not even on clothes.

I live in the USA and since while I like Stash I’m not a huge fan of darker smelling scents and really Tonka bean patchouli musky scents which is all Stash is, and I only own a tiny 1oz bottle, and we aren’t able to get our hands on Privé anywhere in the USA which is so aggravating I can’t even find it online! When she released Unspoken I was happy to get a large bottle and try it. Anything to variant from the god awful Stash dark roast coffe and musky leather shoe nightmare would be a welcomed breeze. Well this is still a warm scent. Not musk but replaced with pink pepper and florals. I enjoy it but so different than anything I’d ever wear. It’s like a hot musky floral. Only SJP would do that, and do that well. I mean look at Covet. That’s essentially grass and piss in a bottle and she made it aromatic and appealing. Somehow. I have gotten so many compliments with Unspoken it wears externally heavy on you. Close to you, you won’t smell it much you catch glimpses of it but everyone around you smells it and I have gotten tons of compliments.

The quince and thyme are very evident on the opening. It feels woody, fruity and herbally all at once. Some natural fruity sweetness but not much. I cant help thinking that my skin amps up the quince note. It makes me think of Penhaligons Vaara which I am not keen on. I’m so glad I still decided to try Unspoken.
The vetiver and pepper are definitely only bit players so nothing to fear. It does develop with the herbs fading along with fruity sweetness. It becomes more musky with faint echoes of wood notes, herbs and vetiver.
If I concentrate I do detect the faint ghost of Stash but if Stash wasn’t for you then try this. I would be surprised if many dislike this.
It almost smells niche. This is a nice one for casual wear. It feels chilled. Its in Superdrug so do check it out.

    This one is so good
but the lasting power is so disappointing
the original stash could last a whole day on me
but this one only last about an hour or two hours
    and it fades away
the opening is coconut + honeysuckle
with a clean musk that almost smells like clean sheets
then it develops into something that has the original stash vibes which is so identical
and before i can smell the drydown, it fades away
so there’s no drydown for this perfume I suppose
i can smell honeysuckle, musk, coconut, peony and tonka beans in this fragrance
    nothing else
but in all this is a beautiful scent
    and about the package
    unlike the original stash
there’s no small cloth bag inside the box
which makes the scent less expensive in my mind
and even though in the box it states
    “eau de parfum elixir spray”
the lasting power is like an EDC
    a perfect scent for spring
not for autumn and winter use like the original stash

this reminds me of a fig shower gel i have, which i think is the quince note. i smell some woods as well. after about 10 minutes it gets a bit less sweet but the florals come through more, perhaps wisteria. this is primarily a woody musk with quince on me though. it’s pretty, i’d want to wear it during the holidays.

Just a quick observation as I only received this yesterday afternoon and I haven’t had a chance to analyse it properly yet.
I have dry skin which doesn’t hold perfume well, for which reason I tend to wear unperfumed lotion on my arms etc, before applying scent. I didn’t yesterday though, and sprayed Unspoken two or three times (i.e. about 4 times in total) on both lower arms about 12 hours ago, before going to bed.
I can still smell Unspoken this morning. It’s a skin scent, but still discernible – so I am not sure why people are assessing the longevity as poor.
As others have already observed, this is nothing like the original Stash and it doesn’t have its quirkiness; it is far more “common” as a scent package. But it is very pretty and I will wear it in spring.
I bought 100ml from Superdrug in the UK for £25.00 (free p&p); it is not worth more than this (in my opinion).
ETA I bought this blind on the basis that I have several other SJP scents and tend to like them; I think they are usually good value for money (as is this at the price I paid, anyway!).

I had a gift certificate to Ulta when I really didn’t need anything hair or make up related, so I got this. While I disliked the original Stash( no offense to those who like it but to me it smells like a wood cleaner) and I had previously tried this. Its soft, pretty, just a slight edge with the pepper but almost a powdery floral. I love girlie perfumes that are subtle and not overpowering. I think you could wear it in any season peony and honeysuckle say ” spring” but there’s also a cozy cashmere feel( frankincense?)that would work in colder weather.
It has moderate sillage and longevity.
I give credit to the creators of SJPs scents they are very unique and if one doesn’t appeal to you chances are another one will.

This is a playful fragrance. It starts off with a mixture of coconut, a light musk, and a fruit note (quince)? The quince + pepper note are a little sharp but soften quickly. The vanilla and peony emerge soon and give the scent about 30 minutes of stability. After that, it’s gone. I wish it lasted longer and developed more slowly.
    **edit**
I’ve been wearing this a lot since the temps rose some and it’s actually quite nice. It does stay close to skin but I do get whiffs of this several hours after application. I’ve also been having fun reapplying often.

I bought this directly from her website when it came out in December. Even though there is no correlation between this and the original Stash, I was excited to smell a flanker. As other reviewers have mentioned, this smells nothing like Stash. On my skin, it smells very generic – mainly the tonka beans with some non-descript florals. It really is inoffensive, but not memorable in any way. I had my mom smell it on my arm, and she likened it to Avon’s Far Away. I agreed with her. The bottle is a very eye-catching and reflective rose gold color, in case you were wondering. Nonetheless, I passed it along to my mom the same day it got delivered.

I have to say, I’m not one for ‘Celebrity Fragrances’…. but.. this is really good! I’ve not tried the original stash, I don’t care for woody notes so it never appealed to me. I blind bought this based on the notes and that it was £25 at superdrug! I don’t think I would pay full price, just because as a celebrity fragrance priced at £60 (100ml), I’d rather buy higher end at that rate.
On to the fragrance itself; I really like it. It’s different, the olibanum and tonka hold the fragrance, the quince and peony lift it. I get quite a lot of quince in this. I can definitely smell the honeysuckle which is a real bonus, as I love that note. I feel as if there is some birch in it, but it’s not listed. I’m not sure if I get a lot of the wisteria, all the same, I find this well blended. This is what I would have liked Chanel Gabrielle to have been like. It’s different, feminine, floral and ‘sparkling’.
Kudos to SJP – I found a celeb fragrance that was worth buying!
So far it’s got good sillage and wear time is about five hours on me.

I own both Stash Unspoken and the original Stash. I really like Stash Unspoken, but it’s very different from the original. The only notes they have in common are frankincense and musk and they are both balsamic with a little spiciness. Stash Unspoken is very sweet and floral with the quince, wisteria, and honeysuckle notes. The original Stash is perfect for fall and winter and Stash Unspoken will be nice this spring and summer. Very happy to have both in my collection!

Before placing an order direct from SJP’s website and paying £60 (full price) and £48 at the current sale price…
Stash Unspoken 100ml is available in the UK from Superdrug for £25.00 (free delivery).

I do have Stash Unspoken since its release on SJP Beauty official website in the beginning of December 2017. What I can say about it after trying it for more than one month and using about 1/4 of my 100ml bottle is that it is nothing like the original Stash, unfortunately.
Stash Unspoken is very sweet with a very large emphasis on the tonka bean, while the opening is heavy on the pink pepper. The heart is slightly floral and I would say ressembles a light honeyed lilac which adds to the general sweetness of the fragrance.
It is long lasting and projects quiet a lot, you do get noticed and boys react very positively to it. It is quiet unisex while obviously way more feminine than the original Stash. By the way, to those familiar with the fragrance, Stash Unspoken reminds me a lot of Azzaro Duo for men with its overly strong syntetic and headache inducing tonka bean note.
On a side note, the packaging suffered a huge drop in quality compared to the original Stash… The big bottles do not come in fabric pouches anymore and the inside of the box is made of plain cheap and badly cut white/light grey cardboard… Very disappointing compared to the high-quality and almost niche feeling of the original Stash.
All in all, I’m not convinced by it but then again, maybe I should not have had my expectations so high as to comparing it to original Stash which is perfection to me.

This is gorgeous! There is not as much similarity to the original Stash as I had hoped there would have been but it’s still a beautiful scent on its own. The only trace of the original that I get is a very small similarity at the very end. SJP continues to produce quality perfumes . this one was a bit pricey , I’m not sure if I think it’s actually worth the price. As much as I like it, the price being charged for it is almost on par with a luxury brand and this is good but it’s not Dior or YSL, it’s SJP. Let’s remember this is still at its heart a celebrity scent so whether it’s worth its price is debatable.
