Description

Sarah Jessica Parker announces her new fragrance Stash SJP, which comes out in the fall of 2016, as more edgy and very different from the previous scents of her collection. She calls it the naughty, subversive sibling of her most popular fragrance Lovely (wwd). Announced as sexy and raw, Stash SJP is an aromatic-woody composition suitable for both women and men.

As inspiration for this fragrance, Sarah noted body odors, church, leather and a few masculine perfumes that she wore that would include notes of incense and vetiver. Stash SJP begins with notes of fresh grapefruit, black pepper and aromatic sage. Its heart notes include Atlas cedar, patchouli, ginger lily and pistachios, laid on the warm woody base of olibanum, massoia wood, vetiver and musk. The composition is developed in collaboration with perfumers from IFF.

The fragrance is advertises with hashtag #ComeandFindIt. The bottle is inspired by old pharmacy bottles, with rum colored liquid and black details.

It is available as a 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum ($50, $75 and $85) with mini rollerball and oil elixir for body and hair.

I was looking forward to trying this for such a long time (I kept getting side tracked)! What a disappointment.
Fell over it at ULTA this evening.
From the bottle I weirdly smelled coconut and cedar – while I don’t know that those really play well together (and coconut isn’t listed), I decided to gamely spritz my wrist. I got walloped in the face with nauseatingly sweet pencil shavings and cedar, but oddly, no coconut.
I mean EXTREMELY sweet. GROTESQUELY sweet. And tuberose?!? I LOATHE tuberose.
It’s VERY LOUD. Massive pencil shavings, sweet cedar, and tuberose. GIGANTIC.
It actually brought to mind MONTANA Graphite, but whereas that one isn’t sweet or floral, this one was obnoxiously so.
I left the shop and tried to out run it in the parking lot. I’ve had scents give me an instant migraine before, but I’ve never had one make me sick to my stomache and feel as if I was going to retch my lunch.
I couldn’t wash it off, so I tried to hold my wrist as far away from my nose as I could, and even drove with it hanging out the window. I did wash once I arrived home, but damned if I don’t still smell tuberose.
(And the band on the bottle appears to be medical/wound tape – very tacky. Would have been better with ripped home pressed paper.)
    Sorry.

Definitely NOT obsessed. Too similar in mood to Kate Walsh Boyfriend, but not as good. I was looking for something outside the traditional lines of fragrance, and thought STASH would be the answer. It isn’t naughty. It’s Autumn library steps without a hint of pumpkin or latte or milk or cream. Just the chill of fall, a cooling note, aloof.

    Woo hoo!
I’ve wanted to try this for a long time and my friend just brought it back from a duty free for me!
    Great surprise.
Big like so far… Cedar is more realistic and grounded than that in Le Baiser du Dragon, and the citrus and pepper start it off with a kick.
We’ll see how it develops but so far it’s dark and fresh, and that’s intriguing.

I am not sure which note is emanating this blue cheese scent. I am sure it is my chemistry that does not work with this. This is disappointing as I adore wood fragrances. My honest take on this. So it goes.

2nd Review: There is not one thing that I don’t just LOVE about this fragrance. It’s really incredible. I totally get all of the references SJP lists as inspiration for the fragrance. This was a love at first sniff for me, but I’ve only recently started wearing it and getting to know it because I perceive it as a fall/winter scent. It’s rich but not at all cloying (application matters – don’t overdo this one!), and so beautifully blended that no particular note pushes the others around. As others have mentioned, there is also something “clean” about it – this is not in any way a dirty, or musty scent. It somehow manages to be crisp (not sharp), and warm all at the same time. I recognize that not everyone will love this – it is very distinct – but for those of us who do, this baby is a gift! I’m torn between wanting to wear it everyday, and wanting to only bring it out occasionally so that I never get accustomed to it and always remain surprised by its beauty. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Oh! And my husband adores it on me too – I let him know that he’s welcome to borrow it!

I had heard that Gordmans was selling these for $9.99. The Gordmans by me has closed, so I thought I missed out on the deal. However, today I was near a Gordmans store, so I stopped in just to check. They had maybe 10 bottles! I bought three of them. Brand new, sealed in box. I’m ecstatic!

Pumpkin Spice. First thing that come to my mind when I smell this.
Theres a strong combo of cedar, pine and sandal type of woods.. I only say cedar because of the peppery quality this has. I’m surprised not to see any ginger, nutmeg or cinnamon in the list of notes as I truly smell spices. More gingery and nutmeg if anything. Becomes more woodsy and sweeter with time.
I normally don’t like to say that a particular fragrance or even a specific not is designated to a time, place or event, but this is the exception. For me, this has autumn and winter all over it and nothing else. A fragrance that’s both rich and casual. It wears loud yet close.
    Sweet, woodsy, warm spice…..pumpkin spice.

This is a beautiful, full, rich, deep fragrance. The woods are almost creamy and the sandalwood incense smolders for hours. It wears close to the skin and after 4-6 hours becomes pretty much a skin scent, but it’s so worth it for the warm, peaceful vibe it emanates. I agree this would be nice for layering with florals to add more depth. SJP fragrances are respectable, high quality, affordable, and unique. What more could you want?

Stash has a doughy woody-vanilla bit that reminds me of Elizabeth & James Nirvana Black (esp the NB dry oil). I bet they would layer perfectly. I’m one of the people who find Nirvana Black and Nirvana Bourbon to have light sillage/potency- so mixing them with Stash could be fun! Unless Stash completely overpowers them.
I smelled Stash when it first came out at an Ulta, but finally got my own today. I’m into funky, vintage, skanky, leathery, old fashioned scents now. I wear them for ME, so they are often my “at home” comfort scents. This is rather masculine compared to 95% percent of commercial female perfumes.
Wearing it– good sillage/potency without being TOO cloying (it was kinda cloying, but I like strong perfumes). It seriously smells like someone spilled Nirvana Black on a leather couch. I also got some of the coconut people mention. I think that is a summer thing. I also get the coconut in Black Orchid in summer. Maybe the coconut in Stash is pistachio?
The wood is somewhat overwhelming, I have a feeling Iso-E is to blame. I didn’t like this as much as I thought I would, but I def want a winter test. I also wish it was a bit more animalic/skanky. But that’s just me. This should be more complex, but I found it rather simple and linear. Possibly due to summer, although it was a breezy jacket day, in the 60s only.
The citrus and sage make it a bit clean too. It’s blended well, but that also gives off this strange simple sandalwood/incense/woods/leather that I’m not sure I like. I may try to skank this up with a dab of My Sin Parfum or Shocking.

Sweet leather, sweet paper, incense, and a creamy sandalwood dry down. I like to wear it as a base when wearing SJP’s lovely, too.
Thanks for the several tips about finding this at Gordman’s — I bought three bottles. One for keeps and two spares. That being said, I have two sealed 3.4 oz boxes for trade. Please message me if interested!
[Update: all bottles spoken for already.]

Woody, spicy, herbal (from the sage) and resiny. I wish I could detect the pistachio note but all I smell is a blend of woods, spices and resins. I have several backup bottles and 2 of the lotions and oils that I wear layered so that the fragrance lasts. The oil is so beautiful and POTENT, so a little goes a long way. I am glad Stash is in my collection; it is a unique kind of beautiful, just like SJP is.
I do have one rollerball of Stash that I would be happy to swap (I prefer the spray bottles) so hit me up if you are interested. I also have other bottles that are up for swap, they need a new mommy or daddy to love them more than I am loving them!

My skin amplifies the incense in this to the extreme and drowns out any other notes. It smells like the resins I burn during meditation. While I appreciate the concept of this perfume it’s probably not for my skin. I might get a 1 oz bottle just to use it when I meditate instead of burning frankincense. I do kinda like it, not a negative review.

Gordman’s in the US has the 3.4 oz bottles in store for $9.99, no joke. I didn’t see any gift sets or other sizes but Gordmans might have them. Thanks for the tip xoxoMyke!
Upon smelling the cap as well as first spray, it is a blast of PEPPER. But a few seconds later I can smell something sweet and slightly creamy. The pistaschio and lemon really stand out to me, making the entire scent surprisingly fruity and zesty. I wonder if this is the scent SJP wanted to originally make a little more than a decade ago (chronicled in the book The Perfect Scent.) It really reminds me of lemon-y wood polish, and zesty men’s soap and deodorant. I want to like it, the bottle is beautiful and I like SJP!…maybe I’ll try it in colder weather later.

You know how dark chocolate which has a high percentage of cocoa is bitter, yet more-ish? That is what comes to mind when I smell Stash. It’s delicious. Not sweet, not sour, not easy, just yum.
Thank you Sarah Jessica Parker, for giving us your gorgeous, affordable fragrances.

Gordman’s (a midwest half-price store) was clearancing Paris Hilton original and Stash for $10 for the big bottle!
I bought Stash and tried it first thing next morning. Well! I am very impressed with this fragrance even though it’s not an instant like. It’s different and I respect it due to SJP being highly involved in her fragrances and not releasing candy fruit bombs like other celebrity fragrances.
Anyway, Stash starts off very strong, dry, and very spicy. Stash slants more with masculine vibes than feminine. On the drydown, I get a dry, non-sweet, almost buttery coconut accord. Very interesting!
This is a thumbs up in my book even though it’s not my particular style of fragrance. And for $10, you can’t beat the price!

I’ll add to this review later, but I just want to say this: I have been looking for a fall/autumn perfume to round out my wardrobe. I’m extremely picky about what I will call a perfume love, and this was love at first sniff, I mean hard LOVE. It’s dry, spicy, woody, and utterly gorgeous. I cannot wait to wear it in the fall!

I don’t have problem with certain strong woody spicy perfumes (such as I LOVE Madonna Naked Truth Or Dare). As much as I enjoy Stash Unspoken (totally is a different fragrance compared to Stash), I still very hesitate with this one. Stash is a very unusual and “strange” woody scent on my skin (I guess that with other people, it may be not), because I haven’t experienced any combination of notes like the ones being used in here (massoia wood + sage + pistachio + olibanum + white ginger lily). I still need to “get used” to this kind of scent. Perhaps if they were blended in better with my chemistry, or if they were formulated differently, I might think of it differently. I don’t know. To me, the woody notes in Stash smells sorta like a dated dark “dried prune-cumin-cinnamon” and not in a wearable way as a regular woody perfume. The scent is more like the one that is found in Chinese dried herbal medicine, that in order to take it orally, you have to simmer the herbs with hot water in a clay pot 🙂 Sorry I try my best to describe it.
Stash is definitely not recommended for blind buying and I really admire whoever did it with this risky fragrance 🙂 It is absolutely not for hot summer season or easily worn by just anyone, men or women. Please spray it with caution in public.
PS: the bottle of Hillary Duff With Love that I bought from eBay already turned when it reached my destination. All I smelled from it was a straight up “celery” smell. Therefore I can’t say much about its original scent in order to compare with this one. I strongly suggest anyone who wanna buy With Love NOW, please only buy from sellers whom accept return, just in case. I returned mine successfully.
I also think, if you are a fan of Mugler Angel, perhaps you may understand Stash better than me.

Walked into Chemist warehouse today and saw the tester for this on the counter and casually sprayed the SMALLEST amount on the back of my hand..and whoaw! this comes on strong!
It was a hit of spices, none i could decipher individually, it was just peppery and spicy. Then as i strolled around the shop looking at other perfumes it was like a woody spicy cloud around me, amost too much.
But once i got home it had dried down to a warm musky spicy aroma.
Again, its hard to decipher individual notes, but that is a sign it was made well, they all blend quite nicely.
I am actually pleasantly suprised by this one, im so over the sugary sweet gourmands atm, and i think we are all so used to celebrities pumping out these praline, sugary candy bombs that we just start to assume that its going to be like Fantasy or Sweet like candy, before we even try it.
But Stash is as far from that as you can get, its mature and yes unisex; but it stillmaintains a level of femininity; its strong and powerful but in the most beautiful way.
Something about it makes me imagine walking through an indian market stall, with all the fragrant spices filling the air.
Its a little dark, a little sexy and it veeres far from the beaten celeb fragrance track.
I would advise to try before u buy with this as it is quite heady and dry.
i have no idea what pickle in a fragrance could possibly smell like?either way i get none of that, so dont be scared off by that comparison that other reveiwes are making.
Yes its a celebrity scent, and yes its cheap, but let’s be real; if Chanel produced this and slapped her name on it; people would pay through the nose for it.

I was SO excited to try this, based on reviews. It was a blind buy for me and boy do I regret it! I totally get the pickle thing that some people get. Have not even tried it a second time yet, after that awful first experience, and I’ve had it for months now.

Men’s? Women’s? Unisex is usually thrown about with fragrances and it is usually applicable, but none more so than with Stash from SJP. My respect for Ms. Parker has stemmed from S&tC but I never found myself reaching for her scents up until last year. I was totally surprised. For the price points, all have their strengths. None are what I’d describe as unpleasant and all appeal to different people of different ages, genders and cultures.
Stash is a deep, long lasting woody scent that smells of nutty banana bread, ISO E and sandalwood on my skin. I adore it quite a bit, especially when layered over Sexiest Scent On The Planet (IMHO) or Mrs Gloss Outdoors (both from 4160 Tuesdays). Both contain the cedarwood smelling ISO E and add either a citrusy vanilla dimension or a boozy, spicy one.
Quite intriguing. Gender bending, that’s for sure

Smell-wise this strongly reminds me of Gucci Rush for Men, and Amouage Journey Man. Somewhere between the two in terms of complexity and sophistication.
The opening is aggressively spicy, but still with a girly softness underneath – and more feminine than masculine, despite the most obvious notes being the typically masculine woods and spices. It smells like your inside a rough leather or suede handbag, stuck between some makeup (and a few loose pistachio nuts).
As this dries down it gets very very good and less obviously feminine. Very sexy fragrance. I never write that about fragrances but have to about this one as it’s a big and undeniable part of its character.
EDIT: Just sprayed Havana Aramis and realised Stash is very similar – imagine Havana encased in a smooth lozenge of women’s cosmetics, and that’s it.

Stash by Sarah Jessica Parker is as good as everyone describes it. Granted, this is one of the better celebrity scents on the market.
Stash is a smooth, spicy woods scent in a similar vein to YSL’s Opium for Women, Calvin Klein’s Secret Obsession and another beautifully composed celebrity fragrance, Kate Walsh’s Boyfriend. The scent is pleasingly unisex and has moderate sillage where it is neither too heavy nor too soft.
I have worn Stash on two separate occasions and find it best suited to the cooler weather. The most dominant notes to my nose include massoia wood, cedar, white musk, sage, vetiver and olibanum. I’ve always enjoyed wearing spicy and/or woodsy orientals, so this scent is right up my alley. However, if you’re expecting something soft, flowery and feminine like the rest of Sarah Jessica Parker’s line, you might be disappointed.
Stash has recently dropped dramatically in price, so a fragrance like this can now be found for as low as $10 AUD. At this price, it would almost be worth blind purchasing if a tester could not be found. I am seriously considering adding this fragrance to my collection.
Stash by Sarah Jessica Parker had excellent longevity during my last wearing, lasting approximately six to seven hours on the back of my hand. As my country approaches Winter, I can definitely see myself returning to this fragrance in the coming months.

Dark. Mysterious. A very deep fragrance. Extremely woody and resinous. This is a strong like for me. However…I must say I am 2,000% shocked that no one has mentioned this before. A young lady entered this territory MUCH before our lovely Sarah Jessica Parker. That would be Hilary Duff.
This isn’t a dupe…but a VERY close smell to Hilary Duff’s debut perfume “With Love.” And I mean CLOSE. They are 85%-90% similar. I am in total shock that no one has mentioned this. When I ordered mine…I immediately opened it and sprayed it. I literally did a double take and thought I must be getting pranked. The opening (first 2 minutes or so) snells nearly identical to With Love actually. The differences in the level of sweetness and the slightly different tone in the woody notes comes after the initial opening….but still…it remains in very similar territory and accords as Hilary Duff’s With Love.
Now this fragrance is good, I personally like it. But with that being said…this is definitely a daring perfume…and not a crowd pleaser. And for those reasons…this is one of my perfumes that I wear when I’m at home…for me to enjoy. Usually on my relax Sundays (my only day entirely off from both jobs) when I’m just cuddled up with my dog and watching TV with some wine with my electric fireplace on. It matches that mood perfectly. It’s a deep, woodsy perfume with a “cozy” aspect being emitted from it’s scent. So again…let me reiterate…I like this perfume. A lot. But for me. It is not something I would ever wear in public.
    Scent Itself – 7.5/10
    Longevity – Between 5 & 6 hours.
Sillage – Strong but not overwhelming. About 4-5 feet.
Overall Score – 7.5/10 – I like it. A lot. However due to Hilary Duff’s With Love debuting years before this…I must say…it loses points on originality for me. And also I would add…Hilary Duff’s With Love I like slightly more than this one.
Also I feel obligated to note :: (Only because I read it over and over again…) That I smell absolutely no “pickle” smell that a lot of reviewers have mentioned. That is one of the few things that kept me from buying this for so long since it was released…so for any of you holding back because of that scaring you as well…I personally don’t smell any pickle smell at all. This fragrance certainly is a curious little bugger.

I love this I get mainly sandalwood and some nice patchouli. I normally wear a perfume oils by nemat that i buy at whole foods. I layer the sandalwood with this because I love SJP but this doesn’t last as long as it should for the price, so the perfume oil helps.

I finally found a little sampler today at Ulta and I was excited to try this. I put it on the paper and I got a strong nose full of some scent I couldn’t name… I thought it could be nutmeg or dill. Now I realize I was smelling sage flowers. So it does have a spice/nuttiness quality, but most important would be the bright note of olibanum (Frankincense!) below, thereby flipping the pyramid. That is to say, normally the opener is a floral but in Stash the opener is a green spice but underneath is a citrusy lemon which NORMALLY is a topper (Frankincense, for me, is a spectacular lemon with a bit of pine). Overall, I also got a lovely lemongrass scent, but ultimately this is a warm autumn scent, maybe a week before Halloween.
Oddly the 1.7 oz is $50 and the 0.5 oz rollerball is $25 so basically don’t get a rollerball if you want this. Just spend the extra $25 to get it all.
I am considering spending $50 but the only problem for me is that a citrusy sandalwood/musk is kind of what I always lean to (my other choice is a very expensive citrus mineral called Neroli Portofino by Tom Ford). Unfortunately, I only have the budget for one or two frags a year.

  29. :

    3 out of 5

Woody aromatic is my first reaction, but I get a sour and pickle-like aroma, like laurel (one note I loathe) gives me. Besides that, it has a nice woody smell, a bit spicy with just enough sweetness and something milky/coconutty. After a couple of hours, a light incense makes a presence.
    Scent: 5/10
    Longevity: 7/10
    Projection: 6/10

  30. :

A peppery kick and a leathery note that’s more like a vinyl booth, with a soapy sweetness, yet also slightly greasy, like you’re due for a hair wash. The dry down on me is almost the same as Ivory soap, but I can pick out the vetiver and patchouli for many hours. Altogether it reminds me of some basement night spot that is a little bit dirty, and has cheap soap in the bathroom, but that you feel cool for knowing about.
I’ve seen some people compare it to Tom Ford’s Santal Blush, which I bought a decant of, but it doesn’t smell the same on me. Santal Blush is like freshly cut woods and dry sawdust, no sweetness, it is clean and evokes open space and nature- but I have to spray it on my clothes or it doesn’t last. It doesn’t have the soapy sweetness or greasiness of Stash, which DOES last all day on me. They do have something in common, though, a resinous woodsiness.
This is a good work perfume, and I can see wearing it when I want to be taken seriously. It is good for an artsy event also. I wouldn’t really wear it for a date, as it does have a masculine edge to it.

First let me start by saying that SJP is one of my favorite actresses and SATC was my favorite show of all time. She turned me on to more fashion than I ever knew before. When this perfume came out, I thought I was going to love it. It had all the notes that I tend to gravitate to in a scent. However I was highly taken aback at the scent. The first time I sprayed it I couldn’t believe how strong it was. I couldn’t separate any of the notes…it was a strange mishmash of what seemed like toxic fragrance and it was like jazz music…all over the place. The perfume was offensive in that it was so strong I couldn’t wear it. It was overtly masculine and I couldn’t find ANYTHING feminine about it. After falling in love with her Lovely perfume I couldn’t believe it. Thank goodness I bought a spray tester sample from ebay before I invested. This one is just not for me.

I blind bought this offline in the glass rollerball. I’ve blind bought fragrances before and was sorely disappointed, so I figured I’d get the rollerball to be safe. Not to mention, it’s a nice little glass vial with the black scotch tape saying “Stash SJP” in gold. Onto the fragrance review. Very interesting fragrance. From the notes, you’d expect a masculine, woody, balmy scent, but this is surprisingly mildly sweet. Yes, it’s unisex, I could see this being shared equally among men and women, but while most people are saying it’s more masculine, I find it a little more feminine. It reminds me of one of those old power house fragrances for women from the 80’s. I’ve had several of those fragrances and they smelled more masculine than feminine, in my opinion at least. This is what makes Stash SJP so interesting, it’s just the right amount of unisex, right amount of old fashioned, but still the right amount modern and beautiful. It must be the pistachio that gives it the uniqueness. I’ve never really smelled anything like Stash SJP before. Not a bad blind buy, might consider getting an actual bottle. I’m glad SJP made a fragrance that can be shared with the males without smelling to feminine.

very woody, and all i get is vetiver and cedar and not much else. it’s kind of nice but i like my woody scents a little more complex i guess. maybe it’s a skin chemistry thing-i waited and waited for some morphing to happen, but it was linear from beginning to end and i did not get all those other lovely sounding notes1

I bought the biggest bottle of this scent for $75 at Ultra because of the way it smelled at the spray nozzle on the sample bottle. I couldn’t wait to wear it until after an hour or so and the scent became too much like a pistachio nut going rancid. I tried to wear it several more times in very small areas such as wrists only. The PISTACHIO SMELL still became overpowing so that I had to go wash my wrists off. Needless to say this one bottle will last me FOREVER!

I love this fragrance to death, I reviewed it awhile back and gave it lots of praise. I cleaned out the Maxx when it went on clearance, so I have A LOT of it and that makes me happy but the only thing I’m not happy about is that it doesn’t have the amazing staying power it seems to have on other people. I wish it did. I have to apply it constantly to even feel like it’s smell able. It’s not the worst problem in the world, I just wished it lasted longer. It’s possible I’ve gone Snell blind to it since I use it so much. I don’t know. It’s still a great fragrance.

I LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE! At first spray, to me, it smells of incense and then it drys down to the most beautiful woody aromatic spicy scent. It lasts for hours and projects really well. Proof that you can sell fragrances affordably that last forever and they don’t all have to smell like sweets! THANK YOU SJP!

Stash is a new favorite of mine. It’s so woody and thick – it reminds me of walk through a dense forest. A word of caution, though, it is so easy to go overboard with this fragrance. When I sprayed my wrists, and behind my ears, I was downright suffocating myself. The hair mist is a better option to wear when you want to wear a lighter version of Stash. SJP herself said on Instagram that the hair mist could be used as a body mist.

This little compact bottle packs quite a punch. I initially encountered this in Ulta and I knew without a shadow of a doubt I had to have it. Luckily, I have a wonderful partner who pays attention to my fragrance fanaticism and indulged me for the holidays.
This fragrance to me is a swanky dim-lit bar with deep leather booths, a conflagration of human smells at the end of a day and the whiff of fresh air from the street as the doorman opens the heavy doors. You might catch a bit of pipe tobacco as someone walks by and sense a nip in the humid, wintery air, but soon the woodsy scent from the fireplace envelopes you and all is right with the world again.
Stash is warm, inviting and begs to be smelled over and over again…there’s just something inviting in it’s broody warmth that envelopes you like a cashmere shawl.
I am never one for celebrity fragrances, save for the OG Elizabeth Taylor’s Passion…that was an 80’s masterpiece. I do say that SJP has a talent for putting together some amazing scents.
FWIW, I hear SJP loved Skin Musk in the 80’s and I definitely see a nod from some notes in this perfume to that great old scent. I miss it everyday (impossible to find, even on Ebay…I think SJP bought them all!!) but this is very reminiscent of that very sensual, very human, scent.
Sillage is medium on me and lasts at least 8 hours. YMMV.

“You smell so good, so comforting.”
    “It smells like springtime!”
    “It smells fresh!”
“Honestly baby, this is a wonderful smell. It’s not like all the others you have. It’s not floral…”
“It’s unusual…I want to keep smelling it.”
Verbatim quotes from people in my life, who, unsolicited, have expressed an opinion about this juice. So far, as you can see, the response has been positive, and, although wildly outside my usual perfume preferences, I too am enchanted by this perfume.
I spray it liberally, all over: I smell lemon, and sage, but also a sweet floral note; after about 10 minutes, I begin to smell cedar and spices, almost cinnamon-like, and the smokey notes others have remarked on also appear. However, several people have remarked that there is a vernal, spring-like note to the perfume, hence the comments about “freshness.” Maybe it’s the ginger-lily note at play…
I layer it with the body cream, and hair mist, in addition to the perfume, so the longevity is a solid 6 hours on my skin.
I think it’s a wonderful, complicated smell. I will repurchase and iit will become part of my permanent collection.

    So great !
    Finally I got this one.
    This one is quite unisex
in my mind actually, I think this one is more for men
starts very smokey and woody, but with a bit sweetness
this sweetness has quite a bit milky feelings
and also like freshly baked cookies
then it settles to a total woody scent
    very very woody and smokey
in my mind, this scent has this wheat-made cookie scent from the beginning to the end
    definitely un usual scent
Stash Unspoken is on the way
    waiting in full expectation now

The initial spray had a bit of spice that lasted a few minutes, maybe 10. Then Stash pretty quickly dried down to soft wood for me. It reminds me Tom Ford’s Santal Blush – just simple creamy woods. I did not get any other notes from this one and it does not last long at all, gone in an hour or two. Even so, I may upgrade my rollerball to a full bottle and use it to layer with SJP Lovely. I’m happily surprised that a celebrity scent isn’t the typical sugary-vanilla-roses – My least favorites.
Edit… i only get two notes out of this one – a flash of something spicy, then just woods. My nose is so anosmic, that i cannot tell any other scents. (i sprayed the Stash Unspoken today and it is so unspoken, i cant even smell it.)
It does end up lasting maybe 5-8 hours with very soft dry down i can whiff throughout the rest of the day. I like the wood that i do smell, so I did buy a bottle.

I nabbed a bottle of this as a gift for my sister, knowing beforehand only that it was woody, and that she had fallen in love with it after a single, perfume-counter spray. Well… I couldn’t help but test it out before handing it over… Honestly it’s lovely! I just may pick up a bottle for myself for when I’m in the mood for something mellow, comforting, long-lasting, and smooth.
Word of warning though: its potent stuff! More than the wearer might realize… Please don’t overspray… I think 2 max, and I’m one who wears Shalimar EDP at 6 sprays.

At first spray this smells like honey and lemon in black tea. Twenty minutes in I can finally smell the black pepper and sage; it’s warm and savory. I’m having a hard time smelling the wood, but I will try it on my husband to see how it wears on him.

I had so many high hopes for this perfume. I find it to be really terrible. Cheap materials, just because it is different doesn’t make it a niche fragrance. It smells like this kind of 80s stickers that are a bit puff
