Absolutely wonderful. Honey, jasmine, leather, musk, sandalwood, and coconut combine to create a complex and sexy perfume that lasts all day on my skin. Even though there’s no gardenia listed in the notes, I keep smelling a decadent, bleu cheese/mushroom-like realistic gardenia with a hint of decay that reminds me very much of JAR Jardenia in this. While this isn’t a dupe for Jardenia, it’s downright amazing and a delightful surprise, especially when one takes this fragrance’s price into consideration.
If you’re a fan of gardenias and big white florals in general, I’d recommend you give this a sniff. I can’t believe I waited so long to add this gem to my collection, but I’m so happy I finally did.

Got a roll-on perfume oil of this one in smell bent’s most recent Garage Sale in May. It was a blind buy, but has been a favorable experience. I was actually hoping for a little more coconut, but the sweetness is mostly due to honey. That being said, there’s certainly a lot more going on here besides the bee goo. Florals, a pleasant skin musk aroma (musk+leather, perhaps?) and pleasant woody undertones. It’s a lovely and complex fragrance, very wearable overall and just a few swipes with the rollerball last almost 24 hours on my skin. Seriously. Good stuff. Sad to hear it’s discontinued but watch for it at future smell bent garage sale events, and or be encouraged to try other smell bent fragrances if you liked this one. I got five scents in the recent garage sale and every one of them is truly a winner. No regrets!

Absolutely beautiful. It’s creamy coconut, sweet, rich honey, buttery soft leather warmed by musk and laced with jasmine. Incredibly rich, but not heavy. To me it’s spending a whole day lounging on the beach and once the sun starts to set, you pack up your tanning lotion and get into a car with leather seats that have been warmed by the sun. On the drive home that evening jasmine wafts in the open windows, completing this amazing scentscape.

Smell Bent’s e-newsletter announced that this scent (and several others) will be retired Jan 31, 2015. Very sad.

This is a beautiful jasmine honey scent. The jasmine is rich and slightly indolic, and the honey sweet and smells very much like fresh out of the jar honey. The coconut is well mixed in and smells very natural. There’s just a hint of leather that makes it unique and stands apart from the crowd. Beautiful, great for summer but I think it has enough depth and warmth to be good for all year wear.

IIt’s …just… so ..beautiful!!! Lush “buttery” gardenia, with notes of jasmine, coconut, soft musk and more! It makes an incredibly sultry blend. A truly lush comforting, creamy, snuggly, its like warm sunny sunshine or a sultry warm night in a bottle! I’m hooked! The sillage and projection are huge, worth every penny, and for $45 …

After sniffing at the LA Artisan Perfume Show in 2013, my eyes rolled back in my head, I think I levitated a few inches and then I blurted out to the charming Brent- “I want a full bottle NOW”.
I cannot improve on the previous reviews comments about the “buttery” quality therein. It’s other charm is it’s rich without being cloying or too “white floral”. Another plus- Perfect artistry without having to pay the equivalent of a car payment! $45 for 50 ml is an incredible price for this.

On me this smells lovely toasted coconut in a mix with sandalwood, a drop of honey, musk and some jasmine. I don’t smell the leather at all. This lasts and lasts, over 12 hours for my part. Silleage is not huge, but enough. Lovely in summer evenings and in the fall. I also think it can work during winter, as it is a very warm scent.

I received a gift decant of this, and swiped it on my wrists before knowing the notes; I was caught off-guard by the intense jasmine note. This is a rather powerful white floral, and I’m not a fan of white florals this loud. The jasmine vacillates between a slightly indolic jasmine to a very sweet jasmine; back and forth between these 2 notes is all of the “development” I got. No leather, no sandalwood. I like jasmine in some fragrances, but not alone like this.
My husband opened the windows in the bathroom, claiming it smelled like wet toilet paper; my daughter asked what smelled like Vaseline. I guess this particular jasmine note has been coopted by too many toiletry items; it smells generic and sort of cheap.
Sillage is powerful, and longevity is around 4 hours so far. If jasmine is your thing, this may work for you.

being a man and not at all focused on the white flowers I have to say that this perfume has changed my opinion. It’s lovely. On my skin it lacks just a little power on the green and fresh notes, which would have given the illusion of having the jasmine flower under the nose, and it would be perfect. Maybe on yours…
it’s simple and without ostentation, precisely less sunscreen than the original and therefore quite unisex. Good longevity and sillage, super cheap…other brands should take a lesson from it.

The top notes of this perfume came out smelling like urine on me. But after a few minutes, I noticed a very interesting, spicy complexity. However, for me, I can’t smell this unless I bury my nose in my arm and look for it. I’m blaming this on the leather. Though, if you like the smell of leather on you, this perfume is delightfully complex and definitely worth your time.
On another note, I’d order from Brent again in a heartbeat. His customer service is amazing.
