I doubt anyone would risk a blind buy of this one but just in case, allow me to warn you off that course. Please, please try before you buy. I hope you love it and don’t experience it as my nose does.
All of the notes are right – there’s not one among them I dislike but somehow the combination just doesn’t work for me. The drydown is all patchouli, which is fine but Tom Ford’s White Patchouli already has that ground covered beautifully (and better) in my wardrobe.
What I cannot get past is the grapefruit opening, which I don’t smell as grapefruit. For twenty minutes all can smell is paint thinner, or rather, a paintbrush saturated with oil paint soaking in an open jar of paint thinner.
I adore unusual fragrances (Diesel’s Fuel for Life Femme among them) but this one is far too unusual for me. So sad.

A sexy, subtropical delight that remind me of upscale suntan oil. It leans more towards men with green vetiver and patcholi controlling the composition. There is also a camphoraceous note hiding in the background. It evokes images of the Carribean-palm trees, white sandy beachs and clear blue waters. Sip on a vanilla colada to keep cool!
Another fabulous niche sample from our generous editor-Jeca. Thank you ever so much for this lavish delight!
