Spirit of Cashmere Musk by Spirit is a Oriental Floral fragrance for women. The nose behind this fragrance is Dominique Preyssas. Top note is jasmine; middle notes are tuberose and orange blossom; base notes are sandalwood, amber, tonka bean, vanilla and musk.

Very synthetic vanilla but the silage and staying power is ENORMOUS! Maybe it could be used in layering with some more sophisticated smell. Worth trying.

Well, this just goes to show how personal perfumes are. I love hunting for good affordable perfumes and pride myself on a total lack of snobbery. I don’t care for brands or price tags and will spend lots or little if and when a scent convinces and pleases me. Here comes the kicker: because of several rave reviews on Fragrantica and because Spirit scents are readily available in Germany, I tried them all. And NONE worked for me. NONE. I had high hopes for this one as I am usually very keen on all things cashmere-y / musky but the Spirit – effect, yet again, sprang into action: within minutes a promising start of tart orange blossom overlaid with buttery tonka turned rancid on me. Too bad. It made me nauseous. Whelp. The hunt continues.

This is powdered sugar combined with vanilla aroma.
Sillage and longevity are VERY good and on clothes&hair it stays even longer. My advice: apply this on your scarf winter!
Cashmere Musk is soft, cozy, powdery, and sweet – perfect for cold weather.
I can’t believe this is only about 3-4€/30ml considering this performs so well. It doesn’t smell “cheap” at all.
And as boring the bottle may seem, it is very easy to hold and use.
Btw some people say it’s very close to the original Hypnotic Poison (first formulation).

This one is very nice. At first spray i get a deep, rich sweetness. Later on i can smell some flowers, but no tuberose ( this fact actually disappointed me).
It is a very good perfume for this price range, and sillage and longevity really impressed me.
