I had this fragrancee for a longer time now and i have purchased it primarly because of the beautiful bottle but until today i have never ever tried it. Solo rosa as the name implies should be all about the rose scent, which in fact it is not. I have a new and unused spray bottle in its box, so i believe my bottle is well preserved and smells like it should be.
At first i smell a lot of grapefruit and nectarine and bergamote, and i like this scent very much, however it is not what i have expected based on the name (i didnt see notes until now). After a while the most dominant notes become clover and tuberose, which in a combination might bee a sufffocating disaster, but here they are not. I smell a very potent dry tuberose, musk, with an airy clove cloud surrounding the whole composition. Still thanks to the grapefruit the tuberose is bit sour and the whole combination smells very unusual. I do not smell a lot of rose, nor do i smell any tonka beans. I do smell a light vanilla acccord closer to the drydown, but it is so delicate, still the tubeerose is the qween who reigns this composition IMO. This tuberose is not an older monarch, she is a young and fresh miss qweeny.
I do really enjoy this fragrance, however the whole composition is so strange and unusual, that i have yet to think of an occasion to wear it, so i could enjoy it properly.
Good sillage and lasting power. A nice way to get to discover this house, hope thee rest will not dissapoint as well.
In general i completely agree with description of this fragrance given by fragrantica > it is white flowers, citrus, spicy and aromatic!!!

I totally in love with the bottle. So pretty!
Even though I don’t like the sound of its notes but I really wanna buy it just for the bottle. XD

I bought a tiny .15 oz bottle, which is extremely pretty & very cute. The stem is a matte plastic cap that pops off, & the frosted glass rose is a splash bottle.
The packaging is all I really like about it, however; it has the distinction of being the 3rd rose-shaped bottle I’ve bought (“Delicacy” & “Forbidden Rose”) but the 1st that actually smells like roses. It’s a strong, interesting floral spiced roses scent, but at the age of 25, Solo Rosa is several decades too mature for me. It has good sillage & excellent longevity, so a tiny amount goes a long way.
I wouldn’t recommend it if you mostly like fruity florals, as it isn’t very fruity, but more if you like vintage florals, vintage roses, chypre scents, etc.

On behalf of the reviews that said that Solo Rosa smells similar to Wild Musk by Coty, I am now sampling this fragrance. This definitely has a light musk smell to it – and I like the lower alto chord. On the initial spraying of this, this is very grounding and is hitting a chord range that I normally like for a signature fragrance.
The first 20 minutes of this, it is so light that it is almost undetectable on my skin… however – some of my favorite fragrances seem to ghost out on me when they are first sprayed. Beautiful, my all time FAVORITE “signature scent” does the same exact thing on me.
I will have to see how this wears on my skin – longer term. But so far, so good!
This fragrance wore about 5 hours on my skin, so it is not making it into the strength of wear that I expect when I am finding a signature scent. But I really liked the way that this smelled on my skin. You would just need to bring an extra spray bottle with you to reapply for longer wear.

This is a similar fragrance to My Insolence which wears in this same range, perhaps a chord or two higher… but has the same type of unimposing smell, initially.

Well Sofiapap, this is one of the most beautiful rose fragrances as well! Where the Rose Ispahan is a combination of Rose + Spice, this is the ultimate combination of Rose + Vanilla. Extremely comforting perfume.

Actually, this perfume holds a lot more ingredients than mentoined here above. It is a complex, but subtle fragrance…just perfect.
