Description
Colombian actress Sofia Vergara, best known for her role in the TV series “Modern Family”, launched her first fragrance in collaboration with Parlux, simply called Sofia. The fragrance includes notes and scents favored by the actresses, representing her true olfactory signature.
The composition is announced as a juicy floral – oriental. It is created by perfumer Bruno Jovanovic. Top notes include juicy blackberry, sparkling cassis buds and plum. Flowers of violet, Colombian rose and Colombian orchid are laid on the base of sandalwood, vanilla and earthy woods.
The bottle is designed to look like a cut emerald, only instead of green, it is colored in soft pink. The fragrance is available as 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
Sofia was launched in 2014.
mayster – :
I have it and although it has not many notes in common with the perfume itself, reminds me of La vie est belle. It brings you joy and it’s sort of seductive at the same time. Decent longevity for a celebrity fragrance. Wild berries and sweet florals.
Extpumajl – :
I first tried this yesterday when I received it, and I found it to be a pretty fragrance–at first impression, it was actually a bit strong and very sugary (although I am usually quite sensitive to sugary scents, so I may be biased), but after an hour or two, I understood why it got so many comparisons to La Vie Est Belle and Coco Mad. I actually liked Coco, but not enough to spend 200 dollars on a bottle of it. Sofia is not exactly the same, but it is in the same vein as those two–expensive, sophisticated, feminine “pink” scents that are sweet and appealing. And when I get a craving for sweeter scents, I’ll probably reach for this bottle.
I tried it again today, and to my complete surprise, it seemed to have changed! I realize now it is because it was very hot and humid when I tried it for the first time, and today, it was a very rainy and gloomy day, perfect for a warm and sweet fragrance like Sofia. In my opinion, this is best suited for cooler and dryer weathers, that is when it is at its most beautiful. I get a wonderful woody undertone that gets along beautifully with the floral and fruity notes, and there is just enough vanilla to add a bit of sweetness.
If you are looking for a nice, sweet perfume, this is a good choice, and very affordable. I was surprised to see how “expensive” this smelled–there is a certain note, or mixture of notes, that I associate with “department store counter perfume” or higher end scents, and this definitely has that. I get most of it during the dry down personally.
I like spraying it on the nape of my neck, so I can get faint whiffs of it throughout the day.
EDIT: It’s now the third day, and smells different *again*! Now I get a bigger whiff of the berries! Very juicy and sweet, but not overly so. Vanilla comes out in the most subtle, lovely way, which is refreshing–I’m not a huge fan of vanilla and can only handle it in small doses before getting a migraine, and it seems like so many perfumes nowadays go overboard on the sweet.gourmand notes. Glad I can enjoy this!
grusla – :
I recently bought this and am waiting for the winter to really test it out but from the times I have sprayed it, I have loved it. It’s definitely in my top 3 celebrity perfumes. It’s both fruity and sweet without smelling teenagerish. People compare this to LVEB. It is a little less sweet and more woody than LVEB in my opinion. I kind of like it better than LVEB and about a fifth of the price. If you don’t like sweet scents you will not like this.
igorka199 – :
This one is a very good and cheaper alternativ to penhaligon’s empressa! To me they smell almost identical! They are both similar to coco mademoiselle edt but more fruity.
Acedlyemolync – :
I just picked up a 3.4 oz bottle of “Sofia” for a song at Marshall’s. I have a feeling this is going to become a real fall and winter favorite for me. I understand the comparisons to Coco Mademoiselle and La Vie Est Belle for sure. Sofia is softer than CM and quieter than LVEB, but it has excellent staying power. This is probably the most beautiful bottle in my extensive collection right now and I love the pale pink color of the juice.
One thing I have noticed is that Sofia seems to have an almost antiseptic quality on first spray. I am reminded of the smell of Band Aids. Am I the only one who notices this? The antiseptic note burns off within the first thirty minutes and the fragrance starts to warm up quickly. I can smell the fruits, vanilla, and kind of a caramel accord although Sofia is not too sweet. Since I am a sucker for anything with orchid, this is a complete winner in my book.
Like most of the great celebrity scents, this one is almost sure to be discontinued 🙁 I may invest in a back up bottle if I can find another one for such a great price.
pokemon28 – :
So I own this one and “Love” by Sofia Vergara. I prefer “Love” just because I think the smell is more unique. However, “Sofia” is a lovely fragrance! I definitely smell the blackberry and vanilla along with the florals. Very pleasant but at the same time I do get that kind of classic perfume smell…like it doesn’t strike me as that “new” if that makes sense. Also wanted to note that for mine the pink color also turned a weird brown/green/grey color, like people have mentioned previously possibly due to the red dye used. It still smells the same just makes it kind of ugly to look at. I’d rate it a 7/10.
fazaoleg – :
Fruity, woody and fresh. I don’t get any LVEB out of this, it’s unique on its own.
I mostly get plum, blackberry and woods, and sadly almost no vanilla and orchid. This is just too fruity/woody for me.
The scent does not develop that much, the initial notes smell almost the same as the drydown smells.
Unless the fact that this fragrance is not my thing, sillage and longevity are AMAZING! It lasts all day and has a very good sillage. Great job, Sofia!
nickovs – :
I got a 100ml bottle of this today. I smelled it first time now. To my nose, it is close to Coco Mademoiselle not LVEB by Lancome. I think this is a ‘well done’ cheap dupe of CM. I was looking for something like this, and I am satisfied now.
I cannot comment about longevity and sillage yet, I did not wear it for a day, only smelled it on my arm with one spray.
Edit: As some other reviewers mentioned top notes are lovely and fades quick. In drydown, it turns flat which I did not like.
andrey99 – :
I really like this perfume for its versatility. It performs well in any weather, and does not offend anybody. Very safe, beautiful, clean fragrance. I cannot quite smell it on myself, but now and then get whiffs of it. Frankly, I don’t see any similarity with Coco Mademoiselle or LVEB. Yes, it is sweet at the opening, but then it is much drier than either one of the two, more woody and clean. It almost reminds me of the washing detergent Ariel ( the smell of which I love). It feels like I am sitting by a pile of fresh wood, lightly berry-vanilla sweet, and by a heap of freshly washed clothes. A very comforting feeling.
aab1977 – :
It’s winter here in Australia and this smells amazing in the cooler temperatures. It is still one of my favourite perfumes and I always get asked if I’m wearing Coco madamosielle so they definitely smell very alike.
Larllayerip – :
Shines in winter. A few months ago I was on the fence about Sophia but now I love it. I reach for it often. It has excellent longevity. Sillage is not huge but I like perfumes like that. The dry down is the best part (maybe I love cedar and sweet vanilla). The initial spray is a muddle of floral and berry notes, which I’m not too keen on but the scent becomes lighter with less berries and more soft sweetness. I feel like a lovely woman wearing this soft very berry fragrance.

Oh how to describe this one myself: powdery, fresh sugar that opens with a blast of ripe berries?? It’s so hard to describe as I have a hard time detecting it on myself! At first sniff I was unimpressed and a little disappointed, but I immediately felt comforted by the scent somehow, so I decided to wear it for a week to work. I just keep reaching for it now! Something about it makes me want to dress well and makes me feel feminine, sophisticated, and confident.
It most definitely wafts around me as I move, so it definitely has good sillage for me. I can catch the scent myself so I’m certain others can. My nose went blind to it immediately (as in minutes!) the first time I wore it, so these scented breezes are the only times I can really enjoy it…suddenly, fleetingly. I hope this means it works well with my chemistry. I always get the sense it must surround me in a sweet, powdery cloud. I only get the juicy berry notes in the beginning but they are so realistic and they blend so well with the sweetness that I only realize later the berry notes have faded. I can detect almost no overt floral notes on me at all.
I’ve had many compliments on Sofia…some just blurted out like they couldn’t help themselves, which was funny! When people try to guess they always ask if it’s LVEB or Flowerbomb…occasionally a random Gucci, so it must smell either classy or expensive…or both! To me it’s LVEB L’eau de toilette…just minus the patchouli. Not just the LVEB EDT or EDP, but the L’eau specifically. Both men and women seem to appreciate it. I’ve decided to never tell anyone what it is…I want them to do the leg work too! I’ll give them a hint about the bottle, but most likely they’ll go to a Lancome counter!
It lasts well on me, often 10+ hours, but I have to be honest, I douse myself in this! I spray it many times all over my body and then do the “walk through” thing after I’m dressed. I feel no shame in doing this because I truly can’t imagine a soul being offended or disgusted by this fragrance…it’s all powdery, warm, soft edges. Office appropriate yet still enticing somehow.
As another reviewer said below, they did a fantastic job in matching the advertising to the fragrance: smooth, soft, inviting, and feminine. I’m going to continue to wear it, but I really can’t wait to try it in cooler weather. I imagine it’ll really shine then…it’s such a cozy fragrance already. I think this was a very successful blind buy for me…I would have had to waste gas to drive across town to use a tester, so I picked it up for under $20 at Ross when I saw it. Since I douse myself in it, I’m glad I got a larger size and it’s so affordable! Anyone on a budget should definitely try this….considering how many compliments I get, this clearly is a crowd-pleaser and well formulated. I will definitely repurchase and hope to pick up Love as well soon!
glebbb – :
It smells so identical with Lancôme La Vie Est Belle and close to Chanel Coco Mad. An amazingly surprise for me. It lasts so well on my skin too. Found a set of a 3.4 oz bottle and a small splash bottle at Ross for $20 plus tax. Happy as a clam 🙂
xp104 – :
I’ve treated myself to this, after a Fragantica member recommended it for when I was off colour. Today is one of those days and it is lovely.
It is uplifting, without being too sharp, as well as having a dark fruity component. There are flowers there too, but it is so well blended it is just a lovely bright sparkly contemporary fragrance.
A happy, clean, confident fragrance, in a similar genre to LVEB and Coco Mademoiselle. Although it has its own personality.
Only thing I am finding is I need to keep respraying to smell it. Maybe it is so suited to me, I become one with it! But I do enjoy smelling it, so I spray on!
fkw823bedyWelty – :
This smells nothing like La VIe Est Belle on me, BUT I LOVE IT. I think its just a super yummy, sugary, grown up fruity perfume. I have had this in my closet for over a year for sure, and never ever reached for it. I think when I first bought this perfume I was expecting it to be a total dupe for LVEB, and when it wasn’t, I just stashed it away. But Man I love this perfume now. The liquid of my bottle has turned to an off pink, sort of a clear yellow liquid, but I still love the way it smells. I am curious to see if my boyfriend says anything about the scent tonight.
liberty2010-46 – :
Dark, tempting fruit at first spray. A lovely, feminine fragrance that is tragically overpowered by unavoidable baby powder. In short, I catch whiffs of beauty beneath the baby powder, and I dislike baby powder. Not a fragrance I can wear around my husband who hates baby powder laced frags more than I do. Shame, because I really do enjoy what lies beneath. I had high hopes due to the positive reviews, but I guess I’m just not a good skin chemistry candidate for Sofia.
isakon – :
This is the only celebrity perfume that I love and it s just like a designer perfume and it has a very good quality. It s so much like lancom la vie est bele. But much cheaper. I prefer Sofia. It is long lasting and the sillage is very good. And The bottle of course is gorgeous. I have 30ml bottle and I m going to buy the 100ml bottle in the future 🙂
zeleninsg – :
I absolutely LOVE this fragrance. I smell powder, vanilla, sweet, rose, fruit, and even candy. It’s a fairly mature scent. Every time I sniff this, I can imagine someone out on a chilly fall night.
vizard – :
I’m just a fragrance lover. Not a fragrance reviewer. But this fragrance is so gorgeous, I had to leave a small review on it. It is stunning! I love it.
Update:
I’ve had Sofia for a while now, and I really love it. It’s a beautiful fragrance. I recently bought a bottle of La Vie est Belle, and I thought what does this remind me of? To my nose it smells just like Sofia. So I come on here and look, and sure enough a lot of other people seem to think so as well!
Membg249InsuffBooni – :
This is really pretty, but I’m a little surprised that so many feel it’s a “dupe” for LVEB. I guess I can sort of see that they are of a similar vein, but definitely not close enough on my skin (I’m wearing Sofia on one arm, LVEB on the other right now). Sofia has a warmer, more “cashmere-y”, woodsy note and none of the praline that I love in LVEB.
I like Sofia quite a bit, it is easy to wear and plays well with my chemistry. It’s warm and sexy but not heavy at all, totally suitable for day wear but still special enough for evening. I can see myself repurchasing this one when I find it on sale, it’s a solid like but not something I would feel the need to splurge on. Sillage is moderate and longevity on my skin is a few hours.
One fragrance that is really, really close to Sofia is Empire Lyons truth. I have done the side-by-side with that one too and it is almost too close to call on my skin.
Freyko2 – :
love this. I cant even count how many times people have stopped me and asked me what im wearing. Its beautiful!
BestGamerToday – :
This one is a good all day fragrance lasting 8 hour’s on me. I am so impressed with how lovely it smells too so I would like to try more from her brand maybe . Love it.
Wrallsuhkar – :
I was excited to snag this perfume gift for Sofia by Sofia Vergera at Burlington for 25$: it included the rollerball, lotion and the beautiful bottle of EDP. Its a lovelyyy scent, BUT it does NOT last past 30 mins! I bathe myself in this and literally an hour later can no longer smell it on my clothes. Its so tragic because its such a beautiful perfume with layers. Disappointed with the poor sillage and non-existent longevity.
zipper – :
Smells almost identical to Coco Madamoisel by Chanel on my skin, I do have CM but do to the price I might just use Sofia more often since it was only $22.00 off of eBay. All though I do enjoy having Coco Madamoisel but it’s now reformulated and on top of that overpriced (almost $200.00 now for a weakass watered down reformulation) I might just continue to buy Sofia instead
triora – :
Just popped in to say Sofia is very similar to my nose to LVEB L’Eclat.
ris880elipseskism – :

Bling buy gone wrong 🙁 It’s a pretty perfume; just not my style. I have a full 100ml bottle for swap, if any one is interested
Маркус – :
Sweet, fruity, but avoids the trappings of most celeb scents where it’s so sugary that it’s best suited for teenagers. This is the well blended, mature version for fans of such!
It’s my signature, so I’m naturally biased. This is the perfume I have received the most compliments on, from both femme and masculine individuals. When the wind swirls around you and this smell wafts in your face, you feel like the best smelling creature on the planet. Truly.
I adore the bottle, but finding one without the dye having gone ghost is an exercise in futility. I wish they had the bottle have a pink hue instead, so that it would last forever. A very minor complaint.
I originally got this because the mist of this perfume is a) just as amazing and b) has a very surprising amount of longevity for such. This is a perfume that will greet you in the morning in the most spectacular way.
Lyon’s Truth from Empire perfumes is virtually identical to this, with a softer opening and an…ah, interesting bottle.
MultiPulti – :
Big blast of blackberries and juicy plum followed by green cassis bud. Dries down to a cedary vanilla. Might be a musk note as well. This is a fruity floriental, I love those. Heavy, so not office friendly, maybe yummy date night. The juice, a pretty pink color to symbolize Columbian pink beryls unfortunately loses the pink tint (red dyes are notoriously fugitive) and turns a greyish greenish color. The scent is not affected. I see that HSN, who sold it initially, does not carry it now. I really like it but the color change was sad, as the flask is attractive.
unikk – :
Oh my God! This is definitely beautiful and smells nothing like the cheap teenager type sweet smelling celebrity fragrances. I had read rave reviews of Sofia here and was waiting to try it. Finally I did and it did not disappoint. It smells classy and expensive for a fraction of the price you pay for the big names and is actually a pleasant mixture of LVEB and Coco Mademoiselle and Miss Dior! To my nose it leans more toward Coco Mademoiselle than any other. The scent is chypre floral like Coco Mademoiselle… this one starts with initial fruity notes turning into flowery and then woody.
jak1990 – :
I actually really like this. I randomly stumbled upon it in a store and it saw that it was on sale for an absolute steal. I sprayed away not thinking too much about it. Wow! At first sniff I thought it was beautifully feminine! I wasn’t reminded of La Vie Est Belle I can only detect maybe a similar vibe in the opening but can definitely smell the similarities to Coco Mademoiselle, which I also own. My partner likes this perfume, he immediately commented on it when he got home and said the house smells amazing which has never been said for all the years in which I have worn Coco Mademoiselle or La Vie Est Belle. I think this perfume is different enough to own along with the other two. It is softer but well blended and the silage is so pretty. I had to run back and buy another bottle for back up.
gold999 – :
I never really gave this a thought until I read all the praise it’s received, and seeing the rating for longevity, not to mention the affordable price, I thought why not?
Have to say I am pleasantly surprised! It is a beautiful scent, both sweet yet deep and mature, not the cotton candy that seems prevalent in many celebrity perfumes. It’s sexy but also day appropriate. My one year anniversary is next month, and I think I may have found the fragrance I want to wear along with my dress.
And although I have been opening up myself more to celebrity perfumes, many of them still get a point taken off for presentation. A tacky to downright ugly bottle or print. But this bottle is of good quality, elegant and classy, and it’s weighty. Pretty happy to now have this displayed on my dresser.
Samiu73 – :
I bought this on sale totally a blind buy after reading the notes on here a while ago
Im a real sucker for plum in fragrances
Wow this is lovely!!
And lasts on my skin at least 9 /10 hours
Its beautifully blended
And the bottle is stunning and quiet weighty
It feels like it should be a bottle for a more expensive brand
I would totally recommend this one and buy it again for myself
skylender – :
Sofia smells lovely and lasts beyond the day. One of my best ever fragrances to wear anywhere. The quality is superb.
frey – :
For a long time I slept on celebrity fragrances because I thought they would smell cheap. Now I feel like they’re some of the best. Perhaps these celebrities have more incentive to choose a great scent when they’re putting out something for their personal image. This smells amazing and is my new favorite. I get a touch of Black Opium, Angel, Black Orchid and a little Miss Dior Cherie. But I like Sofia more than all of them. It smells like chocolate under a beautiful orchid accord with a touch of patchouli. Very well blended. Fresh, sweet, gourmand. I will always have a bottle of this.
fokus68 – :
Another update! I’m still madly in love with this and can’t stop wearing it. I have read all the reviews since my last and I can see I’m not the only one who has a soft spot for it. More and more people are realising the beauty of this little gem. It smells so high quality and it still amazes me how cheap you can find this when it goes on special. I have chanel coco madamoselle and I find I reach for this so much more when I want that classy scent because it lasts as well and I actually prefer it over my Coco mademoselle. Such a winner I stock up so many bottles of this as a reviewer commented below as I’m terrified they change it so I’m making damn sure I have a stockpile
timurtashkent – :
I love the simplicity of the bottle and the heavy glass. It looks beautiful on my dressing table, and compliments the bottle of Scandal by Jean Paul Gautier that I recently bought.
To me, this isn’t gourmand at all. It’s soft, sparkling and fresh. A real head turner and a people pleaser, and that isn’t a bad thing.
If I could say one thing about this perfume, I’d say that it’s very classy. To my nose, it’s a formal evening scent. A pretty dress, some nice rose wine, some lacy underwear underneath… It’s a very feminine scent, and I can definitely detect the rose.
I did buy this for a softer vanilla, but that hasn’t come through yet, even though I can’t stop sniffing my wrists. I’m not usually into floral perfumes, but that’s how it smells on me currently. It reminds me a little of Coco Madmoiselle by Chanel, which I gifted my mother for Christmas last year, in that it’s effortlessly feminine and a very easy to wear scent.
Overall, I’m VERY pleased with my blind buy. It was a bargain for such a huge bottle!
Edit: Boyfriend loved it on me so much that he insisted on spraying it on his pillow. Just saying. 😉
arajan83 – :
Though they have their own particular notes that make them different from each other, I’m gonna have to say Bye Bye $100 Chanel Cocoa Mademoiselle, hello $20 Sofia Vergara sofia! Case closed!
sergey1421 – :
I absolutely looove this fragrance!!!I own both the body spray and the perfume and folks, let me just say, when I spray this on I automatically feel sexy, flirty and fun. A scent that is exstremely well made. This is a beautiful creation. My top 3 in my fall rotation.
Asmodeiy – :
To add to my lower review, in cold weather this is gorgeous! More oriental than gourmand. Also, it lasts about 8 – 10 hours on me. For $22 USD, I got a gift set with perfume, roller ball, and lotion, and it lasts longer and smells better than some perfumes that I have spent more money on.
Astra sra – :
Yes, it’s beautiful, it has an aura of mistery and bright personality. Searching to find a daytime exquisite breathtaking perfume that suits me (no success yet), I’m constantly coming back to this. I only wish it’s “voice” was stronger.
Somehow it reminds me DUNE by Dior…
TezSerapSuSun – :
On initial blast I get the JUICIEST blackberries & plums: realistic, sugary, and ripe. Key word is realistic – these aren’t your average childish, synthetic fruits; these are highest quality, organic berries farmed in the heavens.
I get a hint of the cassis and deep, wet woods underneath, and they start to bloom along with the orchid as Sofia sets into your skin.
The vanilla is the warm hug around all the other notes, sweetening and warming and surrounding you in a cloud of tastiness.
Sofia is a high-quality perfume, no doubt. Well-blended, sophisticated, and deliciously sweet. A gourmand that is affordable but smells like a its worth its weight in gold. So happy I have this little bottle of heaven! 🙂

i blind bought sofia solely on the reviews in fragrantica, almost not a bad word among them but i would like to add, THIS IS NOT A SAFE BLIND BUY, LADIES.
i like a good strong scent that lasts for hours and do not object to a sillage monster either but sofia is too much for me. i havent tested it on my skin properly as yet because i had to wash it off, it was that sickly. it’s a dense, syrupy cough mixture, not overly sweet, similiar to estee lauders youth dew, but it was making me feel nauseous. there’s a note or several that i dont like and even after washing it off, it still remained.
if you like STRONG scents that fill the room, sofia is your gal.
Dagy – :
UpDATE: Changing this to LOVE. There is honestly something about the dry down which is so, so good. Normally, I don’t like modern perfumes, but even I have to admit Sofia is beautiful.
I splurged in a large gift set of this, blindly. I enjoyed Love so much that Inswore if I ever saw Sofia, I would just get it.
First impression was of overwhelming sweetness. It was so sweet, I thought I made a mistake. After the initial five minutes passed, it settles down into a warm, juicy oriental. The plum is noticeable, in a good way. I can smell the Love DNA running through Sofia, but it is lacking the coffee note and has more sweetness.
Many reviewers are making comparisons to LVEB, which is appropriate. And as much as I adore Lancome as a house, LVEB missed the mark for me, with a note that turns the entire composition into something that is uncomfortable and unpleasant for me to wear. Sofia remedies that; Sofia is lacking both that unpleasant note and the pure sweetness of LVEB.
In short, this is a strong like for me, but not a love. It is a tad sweeter than I currently enjoy my perfumes, although it is well made and easy to wear. I am sure I will wear it quite often this winter.

This perfume makes me feel sexy playful (in a mature way)and bold. I find it different than the average celeb scent. Definitely a nice addition to the collection.

Review #2.
I’ve only had this for a few weeks and have gone through 20% of my 1.7 ounce EDP. A massive stockpile is about to be underway because I can never, EVER be out of this olfactory perfection.
This is the very type of fragrance, scoring 10/10, that wakes me up with cravings to smell her, to smell like her.
Had Sofia named this “CRACK” or “Liquid Cocaine” that would have been very accurate for me. It’s beautiful and amazing that this gorgeous, literally PERFECT composition doesn’t cost 10X more. If so, even my cheap self WOULD pay it, without remorse or regret.
Considering it?
Do yourself the favor of snapping as much of this up as fast as you can! HURRY, before IFRA finds out how glorious it is and screws it up for everyone!!!
Please be mindful that I can only speak of my own genuine personal experience and am not responsible for the experience of others.
black72rus – :
Better than la vie e belle because there is no patchouli! Also this is pure alluring sexiness and doesn’t have that kiddie sweetness that LVEB has. Smells much more expensive than it is.
vvv1956 – :
A cross between LVEB, Miss Dior and Armani Si. How that mixture works out to be so beautiful and yummy, I have no idea. But it does. Sofia is the best features from all three combined. I’m really loving it.
Longevity and projection are moderate, at least from what I can smell.
Edited: I originally wrote Coco Mad instead of Miss Dior, but I’ve changed my mind. It smells more of Miss Dior than CM.
Update: I sprayed myself down with this on Friday as if it were a body spray. Both arms, front of shirt, behind neck and on pants/inside thighs (just ’cause), and I received 2 compliments. I could smell it on myself lightly throughout the day, but my friend’s LVEB still overpowered my Sofia, so I didn’t feel too bad for drowning myself in it. I’ll continue to do so. Lol!
FaiolyAkaN – :
Definite similarities with LVEB, especially in the first stages. As it dries down, though, this is (in my humble opinion) far superior to LVEB. The ‘cheap chocolate praline’ note present in Lancôme’s offering isn’t there, which is a good thing for me, and as this develops there are shades of that nutty, Hypnotic Poison-type vanilla, which is gorgeous.
I’m not big on the popular millennial gourmands, to be honest, so on paper this isn’t a winner. But there is something about Sofia in its later stages – after 2 or 3 hours, maybe – that I really love.
Huge compliment- grabber, too (especially from other women!) and a bargainous price point.
Drago-Fenix – :
Another review from me. This perfume plus Sofia’s love fragrance have become my all time favorites!! I have so many and these are just so good and even compete against my high end expensive brands. This to me smells so much like Coco mademoiselle and la vie est Belle the more I wear it. It lasts just as well on me and I get so many compliments from people everytime I wear both of them. I’m so happy she decided to do some fragrances and I hope she makes a few more because I like 2 out of her 3 so far….

Totally agree with review below! It’s REALLY that good!❤️
gamesea – :
This fragrance is literally SO BEAUTIFUL that I teared up with an overwhelming sense of absolute BEAUTY within moments of inhaling and experiencing the initial exposure to this literally-genius perfume.
Is it peculiar that my initial reaction is visceral and emotional, devoid of any logical process or procedure?
I can’t help the primal response of LOVE! to this olfactory masterpiece, worthy of its place among any of the other brilliant ‘greats’.
Absolutely signature-worthy beyond question, this perfume should end up among the historic notables including Jean Patou JOY and Guerlain’s Shalimar, and I have *never* said this about another fragrance, ever.
Please, buy this, smell her and improve your lives by virtue of this very delicate, deep, ethereal, enriching beauty of olfactory ecstasy. I LOVE this incredible perfume and vow from this day in perpetuity to NEVER be without her delicate, angelic embrace.
I blind-bought this based on Aria Grace’s review of/ opinion of because my gut tells me that her reviews are honest and can be trusted; thank the Lord for Fragrantica and its many brilliant contributors.
With this fragrance, I became an IMMEDIATE fan of Bruno Jovanovich and will now deliberately seek out more of his creations, since Sofia is pure GENIUS.
Quowviagiva – :
A pleasant surprise. The opening spritz can be a little harsh and manufactured at times, but that only lasts for a few few minutes before drying down to a lovely scent. All of the notes mingle with each other here so nicely. I can’t say this is overly fruity, nor overly floral, nor overly woody, nor overly green (I detect a slight green note to this, not too much, just enough to balance the other notes nicely), so I definitely pick up all of those accords, just nothing is overpowering the other. I do not pick up much sweetness here, so no sugar-sugar or candy-bomb.
Just a nice feminine scent yet with a bit of outdoorsy notes peeking through at times. I do not really pick up the powdery accord, which is good because my nose can’t really handle heavy powdery accords.
And because this is listed as being similar to a few popular frag’s, here are my thoughts on that… As for Lancome LVEB: I think I actually like this better than LVEB…LVEB can hit my nose a little harsh sometimes; Chanel Coco Mad: Coco Mad is lovely on others, but not on me..so, yes, I can see the similarities. Wow. Who knew?!? But I think for me, I like this better on me than Coco Mad; Miss Dior 2012: Yes, I see the similarities with that one, as well, but Miss Dior has my heart. But this is definitely similar. If you are on a budget, this is a great option for any of those fragrances, really.
