Pucttrouddy – :
I blind bought this and have to admit I was fearful that I wouldn’t like it, because I’ve been burned by perfume descriptions before but this is everything it says on the box and of the 7 different perfumes I have tried from Oneseed this is my favourite so far.
Straight out of the bottle this is a bit strong and harsh but it quickly settles into a smokey, spicy orange. The orange note is perfect and juicy under the spicy, woody scent never going close to orange cleaner (my personal kryptonite). It’s definitely a dry scent. It make me think of campfires and mulled orange juice in the heart of winter (or being at Winter Magic, a festival in the blue mountains in Australia). The dry down is smooth cedar, vanilla and sandalwood and lasts for some time, sitting fairly close to the skin.
This would be perfect in winter, it’s a perfect scarf scent to cozy up to. Appropriate for an adventurous lady or a galivanting guy, it is outdoorsy and I imagine this would be epicly sexy on a man.
This lasts about 6 hours on me, with about 2-3 hours of this being a skin scent in the dry down. It’s very very impressive for a natural scent. I think I am in love and I can’t wait for cooler weather.
From the website – An aromatic and sweet fire-side scent, featuring a chorus of spiced-orange top notes mellowing into a delicately-smoked maple and cedar wood heart with a buttery, velvet dry-down. Slow Fire is inspired by long cool days and cozy nights by an open fire, warm wooly sweaters, hearty winter feasts and giant cups of tea.
