Cool, refreshing watery cucumber mixes with lightly sour yuzu, slightly salty marine notes and hints of wood. A light, fresh and easy to wear summery scent. A shame it’s discontinued and so hard to find. Try it if you can find it, otherwise try Calvin Klein CK One Summer 2013 as a substitute. Projection, sillage and longevity are all spotty.

Slate Eau Fraiche is kinda similar to many summer creation from many designer houses, especially Calvin Klein. It’s light and freshly green aquatic cucumber to start then it dries down to a deeper woodsy and more masculine scent with a bright and zesty yuzu. It almost feels like an aftershave but not really. Not bad at all and good price too.
