More of a fruity sweet scent with the DNA of Pink Sugar. Although it is not one of the notes but I also detect musk and is a lot more powdery than I expected. The licorice note seems to overpower the fruitier notes and the vanilla is noted in the background. Projection strong and longevity is actually quite good with 6 hours plus. This is slightly more grownup than Pink Sugar but not my favourite of the Pink Sugar line.

First impression, wearing for only about 2 hours. Lots of licorice, some berries, sugar, vanilla. Not my favorite (the licorice), but in terms of young, teenage-ish gourmands it fits the bill. Strong, dries down to a berry-musk-vanilla scent after a couple hours.

I have 4 of the Aquolina ‘sugar’ fragrances, and this one is my favourite! It is deliciously sweet in a powdery way. I find that it is stronger than Pink Sugar and Gold Sugar and has better longevity.

    The bottle:
I like it the colors reminds me of a sunset in person not in photos. It’s still a simple design.
    Inside the bottled:
Unlike the original Pink Sugar that is based more on candy scent this one is more on the fruity side. When first sprayed you get the mixed of the raspberry, strawberry and vanilla. When dried hints of licorice and almonds.Longevity is pretty good it’s light on the skin.
    Overall:
Good for someone who loves the pink sugar line and loves the sweet, fruity, gourmand scent. If you weren’t a huge fan of the original this one might be good for you. It’s still very sweet but not tooth aching like the first and not as strong. If you don’t like licorice this one might be okay for you because the smell is kind of tame and the almond mostly covers it.

Another blind buy which i’m glad i bought it yet i never regret and sure will repeat. A gorgeous scent in a simple pink frosted bottle. I bought it at fragranceX at very cheap price and it was a tester. I dont need the fancy box (though the box/canister seems so nice) since it is my own collection.
So after 5 days waiting this gem delivered to me in Malaysia. Finally, the await is over. I bought 2 Aquolina Sugar range (that was the only stock they have at that time). I bought pink sugar and simply sugar (both are tester). The pink sugar, from the noz you already can smell the sweetness which is i loveeeeeeeeee so much. So i decided to try simply pink first bcoz i can’t smell it from it’s noz. I push the noz very tender and gentle… yeaahh i dont want to ruin this baby ahahaha since it is new unused tester unit. So i spritz 1 time. Then the fun started to begin… zesty, delicious, fresh, a bit citrusy in a nice way.. it is so berries flavor… then within an hour the floraly-sweet takes its role… you can smell sweet flavor but not to sugary… it is more vanilla… sweet but not to overpowering. And it stays for hours till reaches the dry down… super nice. I cant tell yet which one i prefer between pink sugar or simply pink. Since both has similiarities but different sensation. Later will update my review…

To me, Simply Pink is literally the simple version of the original Pink Sugar. It’s fresh, playful, berrylicious, and still so very “pink.” It lacks the alluring warmth of the original, which I prefer. It’s a sweet, fun, youthful fragrance.

I will also add that to my nose this smells more like Gold Sugar than the original Pink Sugar. Must be the bergamot!

While writing this review & sniffing my wrist, I’m trying to figure out if I got a bad/old bottle. I do love the Aquolina line but the fact that their perfumes turn yellow within weeks has always freaked me out. Needless to say, this bottle arrived yellow-ish already.
I thought I would love this, and I’m quite disappointed. Raspberry and strawberry are notes that I usually look for and usually love. However, on my skin I get loads of bergamot/citrus. Any hint of raspberry is WEAK. Its drying down to a very citrus-y vanilla whipped cream scent.
Although I don’t hate it and will continue to wear it, I expected more…or at least something different. On to the next Aquolina

    Absolutely charming. <3
Quite similar to it’s sister, the original Pink Sugar, but with floral and citrus (bergamot!) overtones which I find both engaging and utterly appropriate for summer. It is as if I’ve layered the original Pink Sugar with a touch of an energetic floral, yielding a bright, uplifting variety. Simply Pink is definitely less powdery than the original as well. I find myself not missing the powder (powder lover that I am) owing to the overall balance, sparkle, and good longevity of this enjoyable flanker.
The impression for me? Sweetened Pink Champagne. 😀
Summary: If you like Pink Sugar, worth a try. PINK Cheer in a bottle!

This is definitely without a doubt 100% better than the original Pink sugar. It is not as cloyingly sweet and has a nice pop of freshness provided by the green notes and an air of softness thanks to the almond. Licorice is still ever present in the initial spray, and still settles quite heavily on the skin, but for me the sillage is much softer and less spicy/offensive than the original. The praline accord replacing the caramel in the original is a nice touch as it gives the scent a bite of saltiness and feels more sensual. My mouth waters when I smell my wrists. This is what the original Pink Sugar should have smelled like!
**UPDATE: I am absolutely in love with this version of Pink Sugar. It smells SO MUCH BETTER than the original. I would often get a burnt licorice note lingering on me for hours which made me end up hating the original Pink Sugar, but this flanker doesn’t do that at all. I have been reaching for it more and more lately and for the $19 price tag I really am not complaining. Love!

It opens with luminous bergamot with juicy wild strawberry, with almonds and green leaves. The heart beats with shades of various white flowers and intoxicating jasmine. The whole composition is rounded up with gourmand notes vanilla, licorice, pink praline and strawberry.
It smells like Overripe Pink Sugar. Cloying sweet, rotting fruit blending with burnt sugar cotton candy but without the sparkle of the original.
    I’ll pass, thanks!

This is very similar to pink sugar, except for the burnt sugar smell. Instead of cotton candy, it’s fruitier. Full on strawberries and raspberries, especially in the initial blast. It’s tamer than pink sugar, but by no means is it any less of a fragrance. I get the licorice note mixed in with the fruits in the dry down, and the raspberry stays till the very end. For those who don’t like the spiciness of pink sugar, this is a good alternate. Sillage isn’t as good as pink sugar, but this did last all day on me. It’s very pretty and girly, definitely one i’d recommend for those who like sweet fragrances.

Just purchased this as a blind buy as the edt was on clearance at a great price. I really love it. It’s very sweet and light . Smells like fresh baked sugar cookies. I find you can generously spray this fragrance on and it’s not overpowering. Great for warm weather.

Just purchased this, and found that it is perfect to pair with philosophy’s “unconditional love!” They complement and enhance each other beautifully. So glad the licorice note is very understated. An excellent buy!

  15. :

It is a lighter and more fruity version of Pink sugar. The cotton candy is there even if it is not listed.

This is so nice! Yes, pink sugar but not as intense with the sweet smell. I’m just glad I don’t smell burnt sugar in this like I did with PS. They are very alike, though. I’d recommend this over pink sugar…
PS: this lasted 8+ hours on my skin! I could smell it a little the next day

A great dessert! Simply Pink by Pink Sugar Aquolina-Italian style-100ml. It opens with the freshness of a green note and juicy bergamot with a little bit of almond, then we move into a flower garden with an outstanding jasmine in the background of white flowers, and finally mmmm … a great trumpet in a duet with raspberry poured with vanilla bourbon sauce with a pinch of liquorice and an addition sweet chocolates in one big cup, mmmm .. the best dessert this winter Italians could not give me! This dessert has no age or sex allowed for everyone, I think and I know that it will taste at any time of the year, whether on a sandy beach during holidays, in a clutch bag at an evening party or on your fur during a winter night stroll. Wrap, refresh and heat! Choose Italian dessert and enjoy the sweetness and pamper your senses throughout the year. Be free and alluring! Another Aqoulin pearl, strong durability and unisex type. Blessed! yummy!
EDIT.The enchanting and magical effect of this dessert begins after about 1 hour, and on the second day my scarf smelled even more where I can smell chocolates and vanilla. The smell is magical and enigmatic, the sweet smell with a hint of piquancy that gives the effect of sparkling and not bland, quite different from the sister Pink Sugar. <3 I feel very good in him. The type of beast as I left Sugar in the series. scent 9/10 very long lasting scent. Power!

I would say this is a lighter and fresher version of aquolina’s original pink sugar.
This is a much softer fragrance. To me this could be the summer version or day time version of the original.
If you like the original then you will like this. I am a collector of the aquolina ‘sugar’ fragrances and I enjoy them all. A very affordable and great quality Italian brand of perfume.

Where Pink Sugar is cotton candy/caramel sugary, Simply Pink is almondy fizzy sweet. Not as sugary as PS but still yummy smelling. Picture autumn and desserts and that’s what Simply Pink is to me.
It’s a little younger but very easy to wear for everyday. Lasting power isn’t super strong which I like because I won’t overwhelm anyone with it. It’s kind of a “just follows you around lightly all day” type of scent. I prefer this to Pink Sugar because it’s less popular. Its a really cute pinky scent.

If Pink Sugar had a younger sister Simply Pink would be it.
She wants to be all grown up like Pink, she sneaks into her room and tries on her perfume. But…she still wants to play
It’s a little fruitier and fizzier than the original and it includes two of my favorite notes…raspberry and strawberry.
Lasts for ages and projection is good too.

I really enjoyed this scent because it provoked memories of eating raspberry Laffy Taffys as a child. If you want to smell like a candy shop, then this is the way to go.

It’s not about the fragrance, it’s about the person who tries it on. If you like this direction of fragrances, you’ll appreciate it. If you’re on the “other team”, and consider this type of fragrances boring, plastic and too young, then you’ll think of it what you have the right to think. For those of us who enjoy this group of fragrances, it’s an awesome product. It’s well put together, decent longevity, especially on clothes, and with all the sweetness it stays “airy” (the green note is uplifting). Won’t put it only in the summer category as the woody component preserves some depth. It’s a cheerful fragrance, like a nice casual hug, like a “pick me up” tune, like a pleasant combo of smells that most people usually like – strawberries, dessert, young green leaf freshness and close to skin warmth of wood. Aquolina can make such treats well, bravo!

I blind bought it. It’s quite close to Pink sugar, indeed. It has the same attitude, the burnt rubber sensation, but this one is lacking caramel. It’s replaced by some bitter almonds and fruits. I enjoy it and it lasts acceptably long, but I prefer the original 🙂

  25. :

This is very weak which sucks because it smells like a berry version of pink sugar. It last 1 hour

  26. :

Too much like Pink Sugar Sensual & Gold Sugar, that I don’t like. Was hoping for something more different.

  27. :

    5 out of 5

The exact same thing as Pink sugar with a new design. If you search, you can maybe smell something a little fizzy. Also, it is softer, less in-your-face than Pink sugar and the sillage and projection are not as good as Pink sugar…. I like this scent, but it was clearly designed to make money and attract Pink sugar fans… nothing original here, at all.

  28. :

Simply Pink is very similar to original Pink Sugar, but even better in my opinion. The opening is almost identical, but the heart is where it’s at! It’s a bit fruitier, and the burnt sugar note is much softer. The licorice also is not overwhelming, and the almond is a good addition. I do love original Pink Sugar a lot, so I wasn’t expecting the concept to have been improved upon so much with Simply Pink, but I sit corrected. Really, really delicious stuff for toothache gourmand lovers. If you are one, but didn’t enjoy the original, definitely try Simply.

This is everything I had wanted pink sugar to be. I blind bought pink sugar and on me to my nose I only got licorice, that’s it. I was so disappointed as I’m really new to wearing fragrance (at almost 50!) But lately I’ve just become obsessed with all things sweet. So I was at TJ Maxx and saw this simply pink for about $8.00 and took a chance that maybe the this was pink sugar without the licorice. Well, it’s still there in the tiniest bit, but I hardly notice with all the happy sugary goodness I do smell. So happy with this purchase, and yes, I do want to smell like cotton candy. I’m almost 50, what do I care if people take me seriously?!?

  30. :

Simply pink is a strawberry jam with florals and some sweet praline.
If you cant handle pink sugar, or the mega La vie est belle, this one is more sensible, and pretty…not a hard edge about this little doll. It layers well with big sister pink sugar, but Simply Pink seems more “now” and current. The spicy licorice gives it some oomph. Fun little gourmand that picks you up in winter .

  31. :

It’s the airy chiffon whipped topping on the Pink Sugar cake. You can still taste the cake, but Simply Pink is lighter and more airy, with more raspberry and less heavy, heavy cream. I love a good gourmand but Pink Sugar was too much for me. Simply Pink is just right.

While vanilla is a nice scent, that’s all it is…nice. its been done a million times, over and over again . I’m pretty sure every brand of fragrances has at least a few vanilla scents. I do like the smell of the original but again I myself don’t wear vanilla scents….that being said last night while shopping I found an incredibly priced gift set of this- hair mist perfume lotion and body body wash and it was only 18.88. I wish now i had of bought it because it does something that most vanilla scents don’t….it doesn’t smell like a vanilla explosions. I can’t figure out what exactly makes this stand out from the rest of the vanilla realm but it is amazing….I think I might just go now amd pick it up
Lol keep your fingers crossed it’s still there

This is a wonderful sweet fragrance. It opens with strong raspberry/strawberry and licorice notes. Later those notes fade into background, pushing sugary vanilla into the spotlight. While the fragrance is great on its own it really shines when layered. I’ve tried many different combinations but my favorite is with EL Sensuous. Faint fruits and vanilla sweetness of SP blend together perfectly with ELS’s woody honey, while licorice and pepper give the blend a spicy kick.
    Perfect autumn fragrance!

I have mixed feelings on this little gem.
I sometimes crave it and at first the HEAVY strawberry and raspberry mixed together satisfy my craving immediately.
After a few minutes, however, it begins to remind me of cough syrup. Or maybe even a Strawberry Shortcake doll I owned back in the 80’s, fresh out of the box.
It may be a heavy vanilla note that comes on too strong for me…but it’s still a lovely scent if you like the signature strong Aquolina fragrances.
I’m a HUGE fan of Pink Sugar and though most say they’d wear Simply Pink in the warmer months I think it would smell amazing in the fall and colder months of the year.
If you’re going for summer months then go VERY sparingly. Aquolina is known for going on strong and lasting forever…SP is no exception.

This is a keeper! Smooth and creamy love it…the dry down is my fave but I do enjoy the beginning to end which is not the case for me in most perfumes that don’t cost a ton. This one is perfect for my tastes.

I went to buy BS Fantasy Intimate Ed. and saw this. Didn’t know it existed (The original is TOO sweet for me) so I tried them both. Now I have to pick one (BOO) and I went with this one but I will wear it a day or two and see what it does on my skin. I didn’t like the initial spray of Fantasy I.E. but the dry down is pretty amazing (as I write this and it finally settles) so… I do like the licorice in Simply Pink but we’ll see…

First impression upon first application: Effectively a Pink Sugar EDT, appropriate for Spring and Summer.
I have zero problem with that! Plus, husband just walked past me and exclaimed, happily, “Mmm! Something smells good in this house!”.
A good buy at a fair price as far as I’m concerned. 🙂

I have and love pink sugar black sugar gold sugar and sensualle am frustrated beyond belief with my so far unsuccessful hunt for Sparks So When I saw this in a gift Set at SDM today I grabbed it.
Applied it an hour ago and there’s really nothing left to speak of, just a faint burnt nut scent. So disappointed

just received a tester today I should have ordered something else…its barely detectable its light fizzy fruity and on the drydown just a lil bit of sugar but even though it wasn’t expensive its one of those regretful purchases…I’m not impressed and now ill stick to pink or gold sugar because pink sugar sensual was a miss too even though that one does project well it just smelled too much like fantasy and didn’t last so now I don’t think I want black sugar Ill stick to what I am familiar with I am not a blind buyer as of this purchase.

I am a big fan of the original pink sugar and saw this version in a chemist while up in lismore,I ended up buying this and I love it,it definitely has the same base as pink sugar but it’s has an added fruitiness to it which sometimes comes across as a bit on the strawberry jam side with the peppery spiciness and vanilla, like its predecessor it has good longevity and smells great on my skin,I was lucky I found this while in Lismore because I live in Sydney and I haven’t seen this in any stores there at the moment, but overall I love the combination of the original pink sugar notes with the new jam like fruit notes within simply pink and think it’s just as nice as the original pink sugar.

    Sweet Perfection!
I love that I can detect the lovely white flowers beneath the raspberry!! The vanilla peeks through frequently, as well.
Unlike many other people here, I do not smell licorice. Wheres the licorice?? That fact I can’t detect any is a total plus for me. As much as I love licorice-and I really do, I do not want to smell of it!!
I find “Simply Pink” much more versatile than Pink Sugar Original. Although I love the original, it has a heavy musk bottom to it that sometimes turns my stomach. Simply Pink smells fresher, crisper in a fashion that does not give me a head or tummyache!!
I myself would wear this to work. It is youthful but I don’t feel it is age defined. It has a free spirited soul that is perfect for sunny. outdoorsy days on the weekend.
I had a dream I was wearing this in the city. When I lived in Boston, I would spend days out in the sunshine checking out book and thrift shops and going to Bon au Pain.
Great for women and (men) with a heart of a child!!

I have such a love/hate relationship with this fragrance. Pink Sugar is one of my all-time favorite fragrances, so I figured Simply Pink & I would get along beautifully. Unfortunately my body chemistry does not get along too well with this one. Smelling it out of the bottle, it is heavenly, juicy, ripe, strawberry heaven. Upon first spritz to my skin, the smell is delightful. However, after about an hour or so, it is sickening sweet and so unbearably floral that it makes me sneeze. After about 8 hours it is finally tolerable on me again. That said, this fragrance has massive staying power (unlike Pink Sugar). It is disappointing that Simply Pink does not work for me, as that initial scent is positively addictive!

  46. :

I love Simply Pink. I tried Pink Sugar twice and returned it. I loved it initially but it would change and become unbearable for me. I’m sure I’ll smell it again somewhere and think I need to try again, but Simply Pink is just right and I love to layer it over just about any other scent I am wearing. I have hundreds of perfumes and this is the first one I have actually ran out of -so I went off to Kohls to buy two more while they were available. Sure hope it’s not discontinued. It’s such a pleasant scent and just feels comfortable for any occasion.

My wife and I ordered a huge number of perfume samples, and this one was among them. About half of the samples we put in a ziploc bag and gave away; most of the remainder were kept for future testing. Only TWO samples were designated “definitely good,” and Simply Pink was one of them. (The other one was Forbidden Affair by Anna Sui which I will also review).
I am quite sensitive to perfumy smells, and I especially despise “old lady” perfumes. This one is _definitely_ NOT an old-lady smell. It’s light, fruity with overtones of berries, with a fairly large proportion of vanilla (it should be noted that I usually don’t like vanilla that much, but I found it quite palatable here). My wife smells positively edible with this one.
On a scale from 1-100, I’d gauge the strength of the perfume as about 55-60. In terms of longevity, it fades off to a mild fruity vanilla, but lingers for quite awhile.
I’d say it’s an every-day, daytime scent, particularly well suited to the younger crowd, or at least those young-at-heart. Luckily, it doesn’t smell like a “cheap” perfume, either. Almost no alcohol to it whatsoever.

  48. :

Simply Pink is Pink Sugar’s little sister.
She wants to be all grown up like Pink, she sneaks into her room and tries on her perfume.
But…you can still find her picking flowers, chasing the dog, chewing on raspberry twists and peeling the candy layers off liquorice allsorts. She still likes to climb trees and hides amongst the leaves whilst sneaking peeks at the boy next door. He used to be her best friend but now she can’t stand him since he tried to kiss her but neither can she forget…
Simply Pink is fun and it sparkles with the memories of youth.
It is green, tangy, fruity and hidden in the depth as always, irresistible Pink Sugar.

  49. :

I could never decide if I liked the original Pink Sugar. Part of me liked it, but it seemed too strong and I didn’t like that burnt smell. I rarely wear it because of these things. HOWEVER, I think this new version, Simply Pink, has the best features of the original Pink Sugar but it’s softer and no burnt smell. It is all of the original Pink Sugar I like, without the parts I don’t like. Very happy!

  50. :

    5 out of 5

I like this one, but way prefer the original Pink Sugar. Pink Sugar is more gourmand, sexy and creamy, where as Simply Pink is more fruity and fizzy. I think this one smells like the original Pink Sugar minus the caramel and creamy vanilla, and replacing them with more fruit and licorice. It’s a little bit spicy which I like. Simply Pink is definitely more linear and not as deep/multifaceted as Pink Sugar. Also, Simply Pink’s sillage and longevity are far weaker than the original. I won’t buy this one again, I prefer Pink Sugar for a multitude of reasons.

  51. :

    5 out of 5

There is something in the original Pink Sugar that I cannot STAND. Plasticy, burnt, off. Whatever it is, it just does not agree with my skin chemistry.
Simply Pink takes whatever that disagreeable note is, removes it, and puts refined sugar and raspberries in its place! This is also softer and much more bearable than the original. I love this.

  52. :

    3 out of 5

Licorice overload! No thank you! Simply PINK should not be the name of this one. Haha!

  53. :

    5 out of 5

It really depends on the weather at my skin. During winter it smells like vanilla and then it lasts at about 2 hours. During spring it lasts more than 8 hours and I can smell the almonds, vanilla and licorice along with a hit of rasberry. I really like it. Altough its scent it is more autumny or wintery, I have to wear it at spring or on a warmer day, so its full potential and longevity comes out.

  54. :

    3 out of 5

You spray it and you think that this will disappear on you in 30 minutes, but, surprisingly, it gets more vibrant and prominent as it dries down. The scent itself is very nostalgic. I am quite sure it smells like something I used to wear in the past but cannot figure out what it was yet.
This is a very delicate scent, yet feminine with character. It is not anything like sweet fruity tropical scents, more floral and a little bit tangy but in good way. You definitely smell the jasmine and raspberry but not in a syrupy synthetic manner, just fresh and natural raspberry.
I would say the majority of women from all ages would enjoy this scent because it is not too much in any aspect, yet offers good projection and longevity.
A very safe purchase and would recommend it to all girls out there looking for a summer fragrance.

  55. :

I love this! I’m not a huge fan of Orange in fragrances, so I was happy to see it taken out of this version. The scent is full of creamy, nutty, raspberry on me – not a green, real raspberry, but a sweet, candy raspberry. It reminds me a lot of Mamba candy if you’re familiar. I wish the sillage and longevity were about 3x better.
This also reminds me a little of Lolita Lempicka L de Lolita, mixed with Ellen Tracy Bronze. It’s lighter and fresher than both, but if you like those, try this.

I love Simply Pink, just got it yesterday.
Exactly the scent I was hoping for : sweet but not too “sugary” like Pink Sugar. Fresher and more fruity.
Surprinsingly, it’s kind of long lasting (4-5 hours, I was expecting less, based on reviews here), and it’s great on my skin.

  57. :

Oh I simply love this perfume. The dry down scent is calm and sweet. On the first spray I got lots of citrus but after a few moments the vanilla and pralines made their appearance. It’s perfect for anytime of the day.
So I’ve worn this a few times and I just love it. I sprayed some on a jacket the other day and the scent is still as sweet. It smells like a vanilla cupcake and cotton candy rolled into one.

A very nice, slightly fruity version of the original pink sugar. But they smell actually so alike, and since the original one is stronger and better in terms of longevity, I will stick to that one…

Smells like licorice pastels on my skin. EXACTLY like them. Someone in my family used to buy them all the time so the scent was immediately recognizable to me.

    A nice daywear fragrance!
    Sweet but not too much.
I can smell candy-like red fruits with some sugar (yeah, a hard candy, sweet and sour), and, I dare to say it…leather?!?

Simply Pink is simply a-m-a-z-i-n-g. It’s journey to the past for me. 20 years ago when my sister was preparing to go out with her friends whole room was smelling exactly like Simply Pink. For me it’s the mixture of fruity hair spray used in the ’80, scented lycra tights and loads of make up including scented eye shadow. When i smell it i get instant flash back. Maybe that makes me loving this scent so much.
It’s sweet but not typically candy sweet. Sometimes i get wafts of vanilla, sometimes praline. Luckily i don’t get much of liquorice, i was afraid it might spoil the whole composition for me but it’s barely there. I must admit i bought it blindly because of curiosity and i’m not greeting at all.
    Longevity and sillage are amazing.

I’ve been in love with pink sugar since it was released 10 years ago. I’ve had the real deal, samples, dupes, and smelt many things trying to impersonate it’s character. Pink Sugar is really something else, I’ve noticed this silly little fragrance getting some growing respect over the years because as strange of a fragrance as it is, it really holds it’s own.
I didn’t have high hopes for simply pink, simply because it was supposed to be less. Less for me usually doesn’t mean better, especially with gourmands. I was still eager to try though and sprayed the top of one of my fingerless gloves. When I first smelled simply pink I was floored. Simply pink is just done right! The top notes delivered me a sugary punch of 3 of my favorite notes. Green leaves, almonds, and raspberry. Wow. That really shook up my senses in a pleasant way, just holding the simply pink bottle I was expecting that all too familiar licorice but it was just totally gone, poof!
The floral heart is pretty and nice, imagine walking through trees filled with white petals showering on you.
The bottom is really nice! A strawberry pink praline?! Unusual, still very sweet and lovely. The licorice vanilla helps the fragrance smell more like the old pink sugar at the dry down. Overall I was just sniff, sniff hooraying with my glove all the way home. Best of all my glove smelt like simply pink all the next day and it was the best smelling drives to school ever. The even better best of all you can still smell a bit of the top notes even till the end, and for me this was so important because the top notes are my very favorite!
I encourage all pink sugar and non-pink sugar lovers to try. Simply pink is still somewhat similar to pink sugar but packing a lot less of a punch. Simply pink is simply pretty! I am head over heels for that green leaf, almond, raspberry combo.
I’ve had a good run with pink sugar, 10 years of loyalty, but simply pink has me switching sides to try something different. Very pleased with aquolina once again.

I FINALLY tried this! I have to say I’m really not that impressed, but I do think the lasting power is good. Been wearing it over 3 hours now and it’s still going strong! Hasn’t faded at all in strength. The scent is a little artificial to me, and although I don’t dislike it, I definitely like it less than every other Aquolina scent out there. At first I totally get the bergamot and berry, but then it really just smells like Red Vines for the rest of the duration. To me it’s basically just like the licorice aspect of Pink Sugar, but with no “burnt” sugar note, and no cotton candy. I literally feel like I just ripped open a brand new box of Red Vines and stuck my nose right into the soft, red, artificially colored licorice. I love licorice, but this is a little too cloying for me. I’ll stick with Pink Sugar if I want something like this.

I’m very happy with this delicious fragrance! I tend to like all the Aquolina fragrance line and have loved Pink Sugar for years. This one, is very similar – but the differences are noteworthy. Anyone who likes Pink Sugar, but doesn’t like that stronger ‘burnt sugar’ note are going to love this. It’s like Pink Sugar, with the ‘in your face’ qualities removed. I especially wanted to try it because I love strawberry and raspberry in anything and this definitely doesn’t disappoint! The fruitiness is great, but is well balanced by the other notes. F
