The first time I received the sample Simply Belle I loved it. Then I came across the reviews here and thought there must be something wrong with my nose. Since then I received a few more samples and I still love it. It last a longtime on me. I appreciate that. The smell is a pretty floral aquatic. I have tried the other sample from Fragrance.net I think It’s just called Exceptional and I don’t like that at all but Simply Belle is lovely. I live in a dry climate and I’m wondering if that plays a part in how a fragrance smells…

I’m glad this works for some people, but I have to jump on the bandwagon; it’s not good at all. Watery indistinguishable notes make a faint, weak overall impression of clean laundry. At best, this is a ‘clean’ floral, but it’s so sheer and generic that it is actually less interesting than the scent that is IN my laundry detergent. A total waste of time, as another reviewer said. Amazing that this made it to market. That all being said, it’s inoffensive.

I will be one of the few who wanders off the usual path of negativity this fragrance seems to bring about in many reviews. I understand to some degree why people give it negative reviews due to the very light scent and projection, and its very short lifespan once applied. I completely get it because I don’t like that either, but the scent itself, for some odd reason I’ve come to love like I love few others. It just makes me think of things that are soft, light, airy, pretty: like newborn babies, baby animals and light blue sky with white airy clouds. I’ve never smelled Amazing Grace, which some say it’s similar too, but I don’t think it smells like Carriere or Laila, both of which I have. It’s a comfort scent, and I feel very comfortable in it. On days I wear it (I have 100s of perfumes) I do find myself spraying it several times a day because I love the smell, and I often am unable to smell it on myself for more than an hour or so at a time. But apparently others can still smell it on me: it’s my designated church perfume, and recently in church a friend of mine hugged me and told me I smelled good. I don’t mind wearing a scent that others can only smell when they come in very close to me like that, I wear perfume for myself and nobody else. For this reason, I’ll continue to love and wear Simply Belle, and enjoy how comfortable I feel in it.

Ok Fragrancenet…I finally tried this sample. This smells like sweet floral aquatic nail polish remover (e.g. Sally Hansen’s). The alcohol base is strong–it overpowers the floral notes. That’s what makes it smell like nail polish remover.
Projection is moderate for all of 20 minutes, then it fades to a skin scent and after an hour, the alcohol nail polish remover dissipates; then you might actually find it simple and pleasant. It becomes sweeter and even more floral. It’s a feminine scent.
On a side note, this is very similar to Geir Ness’ Laila Perfume (the perfume of Norway). You can pick that up in Epcot’s Norway Pavillion in Disneyworld. That one, too, has a nail polish remover vibe.

I’m actually allergic to an ingredient in this. I’ve never had his happen before. After about 45 minutes I got a rash on my arm where I applied this. I’ve never had that happen with any fragrance before. I really wish they would stop sending me those samples. I just throw them away, because I’m worried if I give them to someone then that person could get a rash, too.

This is the CHEAPEST most GENERIC boring perfume ever made. Seriously.
I order constantly from fragrancenet.com and have for years and with every order since the beginning of time, no matter if you spend 60 or 600, they send you one little sample vial and it is ALWAYS this gross perfume. I literally don’t even bother giving these to my pre-teen daughter because even she thinks it is awful.
As much money as I spend with fragrancenet blind purchasing probably over 100 times you would think I would have “earned” enough by spending so much to warrant at least a good sample that is usable.

You are so right @corkscrewcurly. This is not even suitable for children to play with. What a waste of ingredients, A complete failure.

To add to the chorus of dismay…
I ALSO received a free sample of Simply Belle from fragrance.net with an order (Mugler’s Miroir des Joyaux). It’s clearly being promoted by the company at the moment, presumably because they’ve got a warehouse full of the stuff, having bought it cheaply.
I always think it’s a bit churlish to complain when you’ve been given something free, but…
There’s a reason why fragrance.net can’t shift their stock of Simply Belle. It’s awful. Someone below has compared it to something a child might get with their My Little Pony and they’re not wrong.
Simply Belle is insipid and watery; I usually complain about a perfume’s poor longevity and sillage but – on this occasion – the only good things about it are that it doesn’t project or last long!
I usually pass samples on to other perfume lovers, but this one is going straight in the bin. No one deserves this.

I also received this from fragrance.net as a free sample of my order. Sampling this on my skin , it smells pretty cheap and generic, I can best compare this to a lotion from Bath and Body works, luckily its pretty weak minus the slightly heady violet
I was planning to hand this sample to a friend because I’m not big of highly feminine scents but don’t think any girl deserves such a soapy low quality perfume after reading reviews and testing this myself

It’s a cute scent. Good when bumming around the house like I am today. I’ve smelled worse and better but I don’t find it offensive either. I also got it as a free sample from fragrance.com.

    Simply Terrible.

  12. :

Fragrancenet sample, like most other reviewers. Starts off really powdery and gets better as it fades. I can smell more of the flowers and maybe even a hint of the fruits. Like others have said, this is the kind of scent I wouldn’t even wear if you paid me.
The Fragrancenet card has a code for $20 off the full-size item, which would make it around $15. PM me if you’re interested in swapping another sample vial for this.

I too got this as a free sample. It’s not that bad. It’s a nice after shower scent to wear around the house or grocery store. It’s not a fragrance i would buy for myself because I can get similar products at Bed and Bath. I don’t think it’s a frag that I would wear to work either. It’s definitely a house/summer one for me. This would be a nice first frag for a young girl between 9 and 13 y/o to experiment with. Another positive for a young girl it has both low longevity and
    Sillage

Must agree with Konga, found it generic and cheap! Like a Barbie or My Little Pony scent…juvenile.

  15. :

I received this as a free sample with my fragrancenet.com order as well.
This smells like incredibly cheap soap. It isn’t terrible, I actually kind of like the scent at face value. On my skin, it got a bit annoying. I actually think that some people would love this. My issue is with the price. I think it would be appropriate if the 100ml bottle cost $10-$15. I wouldn’t pay any more for it.

  16. :

    3 out of 5

This is a beautiful soft, clean scent. Perfect for a young girl’s first perfume perhaps, or straight out of the shower, before bed kinda thing.
I too received this as a sample from Frangrancenet.
I just put it on and already can tell it’s not going to last. It feels more like a light body mist vs an eau de perfum. I am getting the scent of sunscreen with a floral hug. Not a bad thing… except, kinda like an even weaker Jlo scent, which itself is weak already.. so.. not good.
If this soft scent lasts for longer than 10 minutes I will be shocked.
I already can’t smell it unless my nose is pressed to my arm, and I used 3/4 of the sample bottle to test it.
This would be a waste of money to me. Buy cheap handsoap instead and use it as a body wash. The projection and longevity will be longer than this “perfume” lol
Edit: I’m testing the other half of the vial, because I can’t stop smelling the little thing and I’m hoping the scent wearing off was fluke and it will do something this time… like turn into what I’m smelling from the outside of the vial.
I wish this was stronger, but as is, it would be perfect for anyone working in a place that doesn’t approve of perfume, as this is so faint and close to the body one can hardly smell it.

    @Ravensaw:
The Fragrance.net samples are cheap, generic and awful. You’re not missing a thing!

Very nostalgic in that it’s a combination of two smells of my childhood… this is Nivea hand creme layered over remnants of Coty Vanilla Musk. Not a terrible smell objectively, but I can’t enjoy Vanilla Musk cause I got sick from it in fifth grade from using up a rollerball in three days. Don’t judge, I was young and it was a gift from a boy!

Also received a free sample from Fragrance.net today.
I love heliotrope and vanilla, but I can’t detect any in this bottle.
Thankfully, it is fading quickly from my wrist.

I have bought women’s perfumes on FragranceNet.com and they always sent me…men’s fragrance samples 🙂 Funny marketing tactic.
They finally sent me a female perfume sample and it was this soapy scent Simply Belle 🙂 The smell was so mediocre, so “meh”. Yes, I did get some green and sweet floral notes, but they were sharp, forgettable and kinda powdery “unattractive” in the dry down. I seriously have some liquid hand soaps that smell even more expensive and nicer than this one 🙂

Simply Belle on me is soapy clean at first then quickly turns into a disgusting, generic, synthetic and metallic atrociousness!! I did a review on fragranceNet complaining about the fact that they no longer send samples and they sent me this hideous monster! No, thank you FragranceNet…keep them samples!

  22. :

    3 out of 5

Simply Belle is very similar to Laura Ashley #1..the original formula. It’s a beautiful floral that is perfect for the office. It’s pretty, yet inoffensive. I tried to add it to the ‘reminds me of’ section, but alas, it would not let me. I think I had placed on there previously and the young perfume snobs probably deleted it. Such a shame their noses are so unrefined.

  23. :

Not a review….I just need to say WHAT THE HELL FRAGRANCNET!!! I order from them all the time and I never receive samples :(:(:(

  24. :

    4 out of 5

I don’t usually like FragranceNet originals, so I wasn’t thrilled about seeing a sample of this as an extra in a recent swap, but this is surprisingly pleasant and adorable. It definitely smells a bit like sunscreen, which instantly puts me in a bright and happy mood, but it also has a smooth & lovely delicate sweetness.
It seems a bit fleeting, though, but that may just be my thirsty skin drinking it up as usual. As it fades away it reminds me of Annick Goutal Petite Cherie. I think it’s the sweet green notes and vanilla.

It does have an Amazing Grace vibe. I prefer AG to this.

IMO- Not the worst soap fragrance I have ever smelled, in fact I prefer it to the plasticy Jlo Glow. Take it or leave it!

It smells exactly like the glue i used in elementary school, which made me wonder if the glue was actually scented…
It’s indeed very simple, after the initial chemical/glue-like scent, it turns into something soapy and unisex. Then it disappears. I usually apply 1 dab of any scent i wear, and sometimes it can get overwhelming. With this scent, i applied 3 dabs, and i still have to put my nose right against my arm to smell it at all.
It would’ve been the perfect blue jeans white shirt scent, like in that lana del rey song, if i could actually smell it….

  28. :

    4 out of 5

Joining the club with “I received a sample”… well now I have a couple of samples. Touched a dab to the back of my hand.
This is a very simple (hence the “simply” i suppose) white musk touched with floral. I absolutely see the comparison to Pure Grace. This is a perfect fragrance for someone who works in a crowded office, because it’s light, floral, soapy, inoffensive, and with the least sexy and most innocent musk of all time. I can imagine walking behind someone who’s wearing this and catching a pleasant waft, but I would assume it was someone’s shampoo, perhaps.
I could see someone enjoying this who doesn’t really know a ton about perfume, but just wants to smell pleasant. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. But this isn’t for fans of complicated fragrances that go through stages.
*edited to add: I have found a use for this fragrance! I find it to be quite nice as a “palate cleanser” of sorts – during weeks when I’ve been testing too many fragrances and have a confused nose, a day of wearing this will bring my nose back down to earth, ready to work again another day. It’s such a clean, soapy, simple fragrance that it’s a nice break from big, smoky, complicated fragrances (which I adore of course)… it’s like a little nasal siesta.

Ya know with this perfume the heliotrope stands out most….I would say it’s the smell of heliotrope with a subtle vanilla …anyone agree?

Every time I sample this I wonder why I never purchase it and why it’s so elusive as much as I think wow it smells like a really pretty girl. The name is accurate. Perfume smells like a pretty chick. A lot of perfumes attempt to smell like a pretty chick but Belle is the admirable pretty chick that is not Only pretty but admirable and wholesome with a lot of character! Almost an etheral quality/nature to her with an aura filled with innocence and almost a baby/angelic like aura….all without her own awareness. She is not aware in the slightest. Her life never has toxic relationships, drama or chronic boy-ssues in fact she has had the same boyfriend for a decade. She is instead focused, serious and determined but pretty as hell with a charming voice and manner. Very old school etheral pretty chick vibe/ wholesome vibe to this perfume. I like it a lot because This perfume makes me think of whoever that is …

I have recieved numerous vials when buying from one of my favorite online perfume shops.I would always give this sample away to one of my daughters, for I saw it had vanilla in it.My one daughter knowing I love peach urged me to try it.Instead, I kept in purse, finding myself opening the vial to sniff, when I felt tension coming on.This could happen anywhere from a Dr office or waiting at a red light.I found this scent so soothing. Finally, I go to try this on before bed.The bottle slipped and went all over me & a blanket.Tried to rub some on neck etc. I noted I wasn’t getting that awful vanilla I get from so many perfumes today, such as dior addict, twilight…In fact, I really would not have caught the vanilla in this as vanilla…It was not sharp and upfront at all.The vanilla in this fume seems to blend other notes to come together to have a soft, fresh , clean feel.I get a hint of peach very quickly as Jasmine mixes nicely when first put on.In back round of this combo taking place there is a tiny citrus pulling the extremely light floral/fruity mixture together. Not too sweet at all! Just at it’s ripest, ‘ready to eat’ kind of fruit and ‘ready to pick’ flowers. When I woke up, after falling into a wonderful sleep smelling the start of this very nice perfume, I noted I smelled something very clean and fresh all around me as if i took a shower already!I smelled Jasmine coming strong from my hemp bracelet.Jasmine is a favorite of mine!I am also noting if there is any powdery scent in this, it gets shut down to minimum for the peachy/jasmine scent seems oily(sort of juicy)Yet all of this is: “oh, so very lightly happening.” The scent seems stronger in the air around me then on wrist when I smell up close. This seems the type of frag someone may smell how fresh and clean you smell when you think it’s gone! This seems it could help a mature woman smell & feel younger & fresh… Yet, also be fitting for a young girl just starting to wear perfumes! This it not the usual for me to like such a type of scent.I do mostly go for heavy scents. Some of the first Estee Lauders being favorites of mine, I am surprised I am finding peace in some decently made lighter frags.Simply Belle does not smell synthetic at all! It smells natural and so real, I cannot get enough of inhaling it! I would purchase a bottle if not on a fixed income.Love it!I am smelling this 10 hours later still! To my nose the longevity is there, but it is in the air or on items…This would make a wonderful bath oil!One could spray another perfume on top of this and get away with it working!

I could smell this for exactly 30 seconds. Zero longevity. Thereafter, if Ongot really close to where I applied it, I could detect a soft soapy scent, but honestly, my hand soap is more impressive than that.

Got a sample of this today.
LOL, It went straight up Palmolive dish soap on me!
I really like the smell of Palmolive, but I get enough of that doing dishes. =0
I had smelled another sample of this once before and remember it having a lovely peach note…this one did not.
I love anything peach. I was a tad disappointed I was looking forward to the peach and floral.
On the bright side, Palmolive is often my dish soap of choice!

I will join the received a sample club reviews.
This is a light scent and it’s a joy on opening, the orange and peach meshing with the violet perfectly. Clean, happy and very lightly sweet in balance.
Then it begins…it drifts into the previously noted Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo. I don’t know what the secret formula is for the shampoo but Simply Belle has come very close.
I don’t find myself with a severe headache but there is something about it that pushes you in that direction, if you are sensitive.
There are preservative materials in the formula, good to keep it breaking down from sunlight, but may be allergens for others. Yep, a perfume can really have a sunscreen 🙂

This one confused me a bit. The first time I wore it, I thought it was going to be my new favorite! But that’s not what ended up happening. After 5min it smelled like dish soap and sunblock(on me). Don’t get me wrong- I still like it. I’m quit fond of soapy scents, but this one is misleading and tricky. You see, at first it started out as a powdery mix of clean, soft white florals with a tiny squeeze of sweet citrus. I LOVE the way it smelled when I initially put it on! I wish it stayed that way:(
Update: After wearing it for a few hours, the dry-down smells exactly the way Pure Grace does on me. Pure Grace is wonderful, but lacks longevity. Simply Belle is a great alternative and lasts much longer.
If you like to smell clean, soft and approachable, then you will find Simply Belle quit agreeable.

Like many of you I have received samples of this fragrance numerous times from fragrance net, so I feel it is time I review it!
Recently I took the 1ml vial and applied the whole thing to my neck, chest, and arms and went out for the day. This smells like you took a shower with Dove intense moisture wash, then applied Nivea lotion mixed with a bit of coppertone, put on Degree deodorant, and I freaking LOVE IT! It’s a little soapy, but not too soapy. A little powdery, but not too powdery. Clean, without citrus. I could smell it on myself lightly all day. Good longevity, poor village. Who cares, I want to bathe in this stuff!!! It is so comforting and relaxing. I wish it was cheaper, but I do want a big bottle.
Highly recommend for those that love soapy body wash, lotion smells, and sunblock. This is a winner!

  37. :

    4 out of 5

It’s pretty. I don’t usually go for sweet scents. I like the strong peach and violet
opening, but like the other reviewers are saying, it devolves into baby powder- specifically Johnson’s and Johnson’s No Tears shampoo.
It’s a mild, polite scent. I do like the peach, though I wish it stuck around longer. The powder smell lasts a very long time.

  38. :

    5 out of 5

This isn’t horrible, but the longevity and sillage is atrocious. The scent itself was pleasant enough at the beginning. It smelled like watery flowers or like a generic soap. After about 15 minutes this turned into some kind of sterile smelling thing. Like a dentist’s office where everything is completely white and everything is kept too clean to the point where it smells like plastic. And of course, we can’t forget the growing sense of dread when you know you’re going to get your mouth ripped apart by some guy in white gloves, flossing your teeth and telling you to floss more when in reality he is just shredding your gums.
This honestly made me shudder. Just way too sterile smelling.

i tested this overnight and i love it!
    (fragrancenet sample of course:)
showered this morning and put this on again, on my leg to get what it smells like from a little farther away.
after a little while i decided to put Calvin Klein Euphoria next to it…IT SMELLS GREAT!
i’m not sure how to layer scents but putting these two next to each other smells quite nice.
I also want to try this with Justin Beiber’s Someday. give it some depth. or give both of them some depth. either way i think it may smell good.

  40. :

Like others here, I received a free sample vial.
Simply Belle is a pleasant enough scent for the brief amount of time it lasts. On my skin, this smelled like water lily and violet for the first 30 minutes of wear. Afterwards, it morphed into a plain baby powder scent – not really a scent I’m into, but it’s clean and harmless enough.
The scent is fairly weak and has no staying power. My skin is usually fairly good about holding scents, but not the case with Simply Belle. After about an hour I could only smell it if I put my wrists up to my nose. After 3 hours, the scent was completely gone.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

This perfume is gorgeous! I’ve been searching for a body lotion scent for ages and I think I might have found it. Simply Belle smells heavenly without being too sharp on my skin; this is reminiscent of warm ivory soap and powdery cream. I was surprised to find this little gem in an innocuous tester that came with one of my purchases. This is a love for me, I wear this after every shower and I feel instantly happy. It’s always the little things =].
SB starts off very green with a burst of violet leaf and lily-of-the-valley, within seconds it is phased out by fresh peaches and white jasmine. The water lily notes combined with warm benzoin vanilla are so creamy and delicious; I have never smelled a cleaner and more indulgent vanilla, I love it. Heliotrope softly accents a very mild citrus, and the musk is concocted so wonderfully. Combined it smells like clean soapy skin that’s been deeply moisturized and swathed with the most decadent of body creams.
Unfortunately, the bad news sets in within half an hour. SB is terrible on longevity; I get that it’s supposed to be a “skin scent” but this is awfully stingy for such a beautiful fragrance!
Overall an ideal Dove soap imitation; I also want to add that this smells incredibly close to Glow by JLO minus the hideous screech of synthetic roses that plague the opening of that fragrance. Minus the endurance, Simply Belle is fairly sweet and wholesome; it’s a great soapy alternative for those in search of the perfect clean scent.

I too received a sample of this from the online fragrance discounter. At first glance I did not think much of it, it looked pretty generic and plain. And in a sense I suppose this might be generic and plain to some. However, I found it to be a nice light everyday type of scent. For me, this is a clean, light, just showered type of scent. Not heavy at all. I think this would be perfect for school or the office or any gathering. Not overpowering, definitely one of those fragrances you need to get up close to smell, and even then it is quite light. But even for it’s light scent, this lasts for a good 8 hours or so on me.
I ended up ordering a small mini purse size spray of this to have on hand for any time I am out and about and I may be lagging, and I feel like I need a ‘refresher’. This light scent boosts my mood in a positive way. And the purse sized spray is so convenient and safe to carry and the cap is very secure and it is metal so no fear of it leaking or breaking. Great for tossing in the purse!!!

I got a sample from fragrancenet.com and have been wearing it for a few weeks during this unusually hot fall when I am tired of summer fragrances and it is too hot (85 degrees in late October) to wear spicy orientals.
I enjoy this type of scent. It is not like Clinique Happy but it is in the same family with way less citrus. Some people are complaining that it is weak but I applied 9 hours and and still smell it lightly. This is for soap and water people. If you are the the of person who gets bored with a fragrance unless it has woods and spices, skip this. If you love how you smell after a good shower and wish you could bottle it, get Simply Belle.

I like simply belle. Its very light and soapy and clean. It doesn’t take up space, but doesn’t have tremendous staying power either. But I’m OK with that. I can’t find anything wrong with this fragrance. Great for nurses and teachers and any profession where close proximity is required. I am neither of those, but I like it anyway. Perfect for my daughter who hates most perfumes, perfect for me when I want to smell nice but not leave a scent trail.

  48. :

    4 out of 5

My initial thought was it has a very powdery scent. Maybe that is the “clean” or “soapy” scent others seem to be picking up on. It is not one of my favorites.

  49. :

    3 out of 5

Wow, does anyone remember the Avon bubble bath that comes in the tall pink, bumpy bottle? This is the scent! Very clean and fresh like a nice soap. I think it is fairly unisex, as it smells like nice handsoap, or maybe a whiff of someone’s shampoo caught on a breeze. A calming, clean smell. If I worked in an environment that didn’t allow fragrances I think I’d try to sneak this one in. I catch musk, heliotrope, and violet.

  50. :

This really smells very similar to Amazing Grace, believe it or not.

  51. :

    5 out of 5

First a blast of alcohol followed by a sneezy sweet dryer sheet smell mixed with hotel soap and cheap scented body lotion. I get some peach in the mix, and maybe a little violet, but the notes don’t stand out or even blend that well. To me it just smells sickly sweet, synthetic and boring. I got free samples with my last few fragrance purchases online, and I tried some one afternoon at work but couldn’t wait to wash it off. I wouldn’t dare compare it to Philosophy’s Amazing Grace – which, despite my general indifference to that brand – actually has some depth and balance, though it’s still kind of cloying and not all that original. As for the rest of my samples I think I’ll just be giving them away. Sorry, but there’s nothing exceptional here.

  52. :

I have to agree that this definitely makes you feel and smell CLEAN. I do NOT get play-doh, nor any sharp cleaning detergent; but I do get a nice SOAPY CLEAN.
On first spritz (on extra dry skin since today has been a day of rushing children to the doctor, and having to clean a “wee-wee” accident by my 2y.o), I was immediately reminded of Philosophy fragrances. I can’t say it’s as sweet as Amazing Grace, but it had that “clean-musky” smell that I get from AG and Pure Grace. I did not get anything sweet, fruity, or overly citrusy. The lemon wasn’t sharp or biting (the way I think Dior Escale a Portofino is), but I KNEW there was some sort of citrus. It just has that refreshing & bright quality that citrus fruits have. On me, it was clean all the way through, but became less citrussy and more just-plain-soapy as it dried down (which was quickly btw). What stood out to me though, wasn’t any individual note. It was the fact that this actually felt and smelled “cooling”. When I sprayed it on, it didn’t make me just feel refreshed, I felt like I had gotten out of a cool shower on a hot and humid day (like it is today!) and smell really clean. This was perfect since I did not really get myself “ready” like I usually do. This was a pull-on some clean clothes, rush one direction to pick up 2 children, and then rush an hour away in the completely opposite direction to the pediatrician’s office because of high fevers kind of day. So it’s nice to be feeling fresh, clean, and “cooled off” after having such a frantic and crazy morning. Also, I can kind of see the clean lotion or Nivea lotion reference; but it’s not as “creamy” or “lotiony” as I think other perfumes are. I get a fresher and brighter feeling. IMHO, I think Kenzo “Flower” & Olivine Atelier “Bluebird”, have more of a “lotiony” feel to them. This IS a clean skin scent MORE than Clean “Clean Skin” is. lol The downside is that I don’t think the scent is long lasting. In my hair, I can smell it a little bit, but I would have to respray again later. I’ll have to update my review as far as sillage is concerned. Also, I don’t get a specific soap when I smell this. What comes to mind is something crystal clear, and soapy clean.

I accidently deleted my first review. Anyway, this perfume starts out sweet and fruity. Within seconds it morphs into a pure luxary bar soap scent. It smells just like caress bar soap. I’ve never experienced a perfume change so fast or so drastically while in the process of smelling it like this one did. For someone who likes clean and soapy scents this would be perfect. I thought it was going to be a soft fruity floral for the first 20 seconds and i was wrong. It’s very clean very caress soapy , there’s a slight powdery feel in the back ground but it remains strong and soapy all the way to the end. Sillage is moderate to soft and longevity is about 4 to 5 hours. Beautiful perfume but for the price I’ll pass.

So inoffensive that it actually offends me. Very dishwashing liquid/detergent-y. Exceptionally volatile, longevity not there. Pleasant enough, and that’s literally it.

I like Simply Belle! I received a tester vial of this fragrance as a gift. It is a nice scent to wear when I want a scent that is soft, delicate, and feminine. It makes me feel as if I naturally smell good, opposed to smelling like I am wearing a perfume. But, even though I enjoy Simply Belle I cannot justify spending the cost to have a full bottle.

The problem with SIMPLY BELLE is that it simply has no longevity. It starts to fade within 15 minutes and is completely gone soon thereafter.
SIMPLY BELLE is a very light floral fragrance and I agree with all those who are reminded of scented soap. Not that I’m knocking this specific type of scent – sometimes, I wear things of this sort when I’m in that kind of mood. The thing is, no matter what my mood, I want whatever fragrance I’m wearing to last more than 15 minutes.

Well, just looking at the notes pyramid this looks like something I would greatly dislike. Violet + peach = YUCK. But it smells nothing like I imagined! Smells like sunblock/nivea lotion/clean shampoo. I like it! It is soft and creamy. Completely inoffensive. If this was a cheap body spray i would definitely buy it!

As I opened the tester vial my first impression was cheap dishwashing liquid. The vial has no “dabber” and I splashed some on my fingers as I dabbed it on the back of my hand. Before I could even get up to wash my hands, the most amazing thing happened: the scent completely disappeared! I’ve never experienced a scent that was “here one second and gone the next before”. Hahaha — it’s magic. And I’m very thankful, I didn’t want to smell like cheap soap anyway.

I like this simple feminine, somewhat flowery scent, but n
